Emo girls think here boys.

Theres a thing ive found with pretty much every emo girl i know...

there all bisexual. Well not as such, but in clubs and stuf you see more girl on girl action then guy on girl.

Yeah, around here, there's a bunch of emo's that go around. Hangin' out at the internet cafe (don't ask why, 'cause no one knows) and pretty much every single one of them is bisexual. Most of the lads are too.

It's crazy.

Maybe they're so in touch with their emotions they get bored, so they decided to experiment with their sexuality too.

Most B-Sides are. Dan's songs are always my favourites.
True. Only recently though they have actually made proper b-sides, as in the extra tracks on singles.
Dan songs are always great.
We Can Never Break Up and Don't Say You Won't really deserved to be on Crimson. Buried is good, but I can see why it's a b-side. It doesn't have the power of their other slower songs on Crimson, like Smoke.

Whats dans sound?

I want a good amp tone....

I have a big amp, 120watts, it has Gian, Gian2 + Shape, there the different channels. And Bass, Mid-Low, Mid-high, Treble. And some over knobs for my octave pedal and such.

Oz Rembrandt
01-10-2006, 03:21 PM
My amps a piece of crap, but the one I use for parctise its beautiful! Its a head with a speaker, not an all in one amp. i cant remember the exact settings, I'll write them down sometime, but it involves High Treble and and Mid High, medium ish Bass and Mid Low I think. Mess around.

i dont mind my squier...it's just a bitch to keep in tune. my ibanez acoustic/electric sounds really good though, i've never played a gibson or yamaha bass

i'll never be able to afford one but i love musicman basses...they cost twice as much as my drumset did when i originally bought it...sometime 3 times as much and higher. i dont know if that says i have a crappy set or if the basses are realllllly expensive...i'm going with both...final answer

I have the Epiphone version of my dream guitar - a wine red Les Paul Studio with a souped-up bridge pickup. I love it to the degree that I doubt I could ever go out and buy another, better guitar, as I know it would be a waste of money. Sure, I'd love a Fender Strat (in red) or a Gretsch Falcon (in white, of course) or maybe even the Gibson version of my current one, but I'd find it hard to give it up as my first guitar.

i just figured it out: the 2 videos are the music videos of Time To Waste and Mercy Me. i thought the stuff under where it says "2 videos" was what the videos were of...turns out they're just where and when the songs with a * beside them were recorded.

no look on the back cover of crimson deluxe edition. on the track listing, the four acoustic songs have an * beside them. under the track listing it says "includes 2 videos" then under that it has the * and it says where and when the four acoustic tracks were recorded. the two videos that the deluxe edition includes are the music videos for Time To Waste and Mercy Me in two different formats for each video.

if you have windows: put the disc in your computer, go to My Computer, then go to the drive with the name of the CD or whatever drive has the CD in it...then a folder should open with the files in it...there should be 4...2 for Time To Waste, and 2 for Mercy Me, figure out which type works best on your computer

poprocks&coke
02-03-2006, 02:57 PM
If you're an acoustic kind of man, I would suggest Blue in the Face. If not, Stupid Kid is easy to play if you have to do all the parts (I don't really know much about the drums though, as I'm not much of a drummer, but the guitar and bass parts are pretty easy). Or This Could Be Love would be fun to do.

billiejoe84
02-03-2006, 03:06 PM
I think an important point to consider would be the level of production. If it has to sound as close to the original as possible, don't go for one of the more recent, polished-sounding recordings, as recreating that sort of sound is really hard unless you are really good with mixing and production and stuff. So I say go for one of the older songs.

poprocks&coke

They can never be emo.

If your girlfriend breaks up with you:
Typical emo song - "You stole my heart and now I watch you let it bleed and the blood blossoms into the pure white of my soul which you have shredded with the razorblades or your kiss... bla bla bla."
Typical Trio song - "Step 1: Slit my throat, Step 2: Play in my blood, Step 3: Cover me in dirty sheets and run laughing out of the house, Step 4: Stop off at Edgebrook Creek and rinse your crimson hands, you took me hostage and made your demands, I couldn't meet them so you cut off my fingers, one by one... this could be love..."

See? They can't be emo, emos sing about how girls broke their hearts and they cry about it. The Trio just down 23 beers and write a song about how this girl is a bitch and they want to kill her.

There is a difference you know.

I love ginger people. I wish I was ginger. Then I could grow a ginger beard and join the travelling circus. Tis me dream.

But Lily, you're a woman. Women can't grow beards.

Ginger people are good to take the piss out of. Especially if you call them daywalkers (recent South Park reference). I have one ginger friend and I bully her incessantly, although mostly over other things.

New South Park comes from the internetz. The ginger people episode is from Series 9 which is being shown in the US at the moment. I think. I get mine from my housemate's computer, via our network

From that lot, Bloody Mary is especially superb. Stan's dad turns into an alcoholic and goes nuts. It's hilarious...

That is a cover I recorded of Warbrain. Replace the x's for t's, and please feel free to constructively criticise me.

haha, Electronic Drummage!

Sounded pretty cool though Chump, but your vocals ain't great, well, not for that song anyway, your about an octave to low. Not out of tune though, so its good.

It sounds good,

That would sound awesome if you had the right voice, but I think on another day, when the parents are out the house, you wont feel the need to quiet down your voice.

the guitar playing was pretty cool, who's on the drums? or is it a machine?

Its a machine I reckon.

Ah... *runs off to listen to Rage Against The Machine*

But the cover, I like. If you re-record them, try getting a harmony going with the old vocals ^_^
