So this may seem paranoid, but I think there's a conspiracy going on. I just looked, and I have exactly one disapproval on all my sputnik reviews (aside from my ancient Distorted Penguins review, which was written before there were any kind of ridiculous standards). Is it wrong to assume that one person went through and neg'd each of my reviews?
Dave de Sylvia
01-14-2006, 11:52 PM
No, it's happened to quite a few people. DFelon had all his negged twice, and a few other people have had the same problem. Ask Med or one of the other mods and they'll tell you if it's systematic.

DFelon has a lot of kids who dislike his moderation, so of course they would do that. But for Zappa I don't know: could just be the same person who votes every thread a 1 on the first page of the Pit. Pointless vandalism of something that nobody takes all that seriously anyway.

Uncle, that makes you sound old.
My friend called me and left a message of him singing the Widow, I think the Fit Out have a new song...*finds mic*
I have made it such a goal to drive there this year.
Start address: Redwood City, CA
End address: Indio, CA
Distance: 486 mi (about 8 hours 11 mins)
:(
I want to go. If I can't go this year (which will be the case, most likely), I'll definitely be able to go next year.
Start Address: Anaheim, CA
End Address: Indio, CA
Distance: 113.42 miles
Total Est. Time: 1 hour, 52 minutes
:)
Man, that concert at shoreline, maaan.

I drove 400 miles to Coachella two years ago. I don't like the Smashing Pumpkins enough to do it again. And you know, that ****'s expensive.
I agree with that.

You may need to be careful because things like this can portray yourself as a pompous 15 year old. Too 'mature' for such a thing as 'ignorance'. A trait all of us inevitably possess in some form or another.

To bring up a somewhat lighter topic, can anybody tell me which song this is?
I'm talking about a ca. 1970 motown single with some guy singing "preach for me" and a female choir repeating the line. It's very stomping. I can't remember any more significant details, can you help me?

My parents are both physical therapists and went to medical school and all that jazz. For a while my thumb was pretty swelled up and my dad was going to take me to get it x-rayed, but then the swelling started to go down. Now he is pretty sure it's not fractured, and I guess I'll just believe him. I ice it about 3 times a day and it doesn't hurt, so all is well.
