I'll never understand why people judge songs on lyrics.

I'm not judging it specifically on the lyrics.
The music is boring, and the vocals are really lazy, which makes the "Hey Goo what's new?" part pathetic.

Same reasons they judge anything, I think. Just because. What I don't understand is why people want to know what lyrics mean.

Me too
Once instance that annoyed me is a band at my school was playing, the guitarist was very good, overall the whole bandwas awesome. Except the singer didn't have his PA system volume up high enough, nothing big. I turned to my friend and asked him what he thought. He said it sucked. I asked why, and he sasid because of the singer.

I had a weird dream.
My class was in a computer room, it was an English thing or something.
I tried to turn my computer on, but it didn't work.
So, a music teacher came in [who has nothing to do with computers] and thought he'd fix it by opening it up.
He did, and instead of computer parts we found:
. A lock
. 2 bottles of some drink
. 2 bags of illegally imported pork snacks
So me and this teacher ate them.
And then someone comes along and says 'you two are douchebags, go **** each other'.
Two of my friends are doing some strange tribal dance in the background.
And then I woke up.

I've had weird dreams lately as well. About a couple of nights ago, I had a dream I was in a gas station buying condoms. Last night, I had a dream that I had a posse of crime fighting hookers, like in Sin City, and we went around and did drug busts and all sorts of other kinds of police work.

We had physical fitness yesterday, and now I am sore as helllllz. Especially my arms and quads and a little bit abs. I did 45 sit ups in 60 seconds, thanks to my abs of steel and 6 years of saxaphone playing, but only 29 push-ups because I have no upper-body strength whatsoever and because I am a woman. Ouch.

Yeah, this is a greatly overlooked movie. It's overshadowed by The Big Lebowski and Fargo. With good reason, those movies are excellent, but this one is top notch as well.
I watched Capturing the Friedmans yesterday and it was very compelling. It's about family being torn apart through police accusations towards the Father and the youngest son. They were both accused of Sexual abuse/sodomy towards young boys. What made the movie so gripping was how unsure I felt about the characters innocence, throughout. So many conflicting stories made it very difficult to be decisive on what I even thought about Arnold Friedman and Jesse.

I was wandering around town with some friends, and this older guy was looking at us through his blinds. We all stood in his driveway and waved in unison, smiling really eerily.
Eventually, he waved back and went downstairs. My friend Matt looked through his window, and apparently he was sitting there knitting and watching The Flintstones.
While I was doubled over laughing at this, Matt took a picture with his phone, yelled part of The Flintstones' theme song, and then we all ran away.

That's one of my favorites. I just finished reading the Tao of Pooh and I'm reading some Faulkner right now. And I read Mark Millar's Superman: Red Son earlier this week which was pretty cool.
Currently reading "Great Expectations", "La Ciudad de las bestias", and finishing off "A series of unfortunate events" series (I like his writing, sue me :p). Going to start reading "El Otoño del Patriarca", and possibly "Brave new world", If I ever find it...

Sometimes it's hilarious, if it's a comedy (like Kung-Fu Hustle, which had me rolling in the aisles) but if it's a drama (like Cidade De Deus) then I think it's better to have subtitles.

Some of the songs are soft like old b&s (Dress Up in You, Act of the Apostle II) and some have the upped piano effect that sounds either newer or totally different (Sukie in the Graveyard, Another Sunny Day).
