Other than that, it's crunk.

This is ****ing weird.

Everyone is leaving. I had to say goodbye to a bunch of people tonight. Because of the pre-college chaos, my musical project with Mike is on indefinite hold because he's, well, going to Miami, and I have to get it together and write some half-decent vocals if we're going to have two songs done. My girlfriend just left the house, she's been gone for three weeks, and she leaves for school Friday, so we've got three more days. She's going to school near me (90 miles), but we're still not going to get to see each other much. I'm feeling funny, so I'm listening to music and planning on spending a while on MX venting to YOU!

But I wrote a neat-o little blues tonight, and I might try to record it tomorrow and post it up here.

Sorry about the long post.

At the moment, I'm working on a 90 minute piece of music, filling up both sides of a cassete tape. The first, so far, is this droning, atonal mess, that really doesn't go anywhere. Out of nowhere, though, there's octave melodies and stuff like that, before it all goes back to droning/noise. I'm not quite sure what I want the second half to be yet, but I'm planning on doing it with trombone, piano, and some other instruments, and I want to make it like a classical-folk type piece, but there will still be traces of what was on the first half.

Thought I've personally never used it, here's something that will hopefully work: http://diskinternals.com/

Thanks man, but it doesn't work for Macs.

I feel really terrible. I was giving my girlfriend tons of music for her new computer since she's leaving on Friday, and I accidentally copied over a folder that contained some two hours of recordings of various musical events at her camp, which she just worked at for the last time, and was trembling with excitement about. It's gone. I don't know what to do.

If all else fails, remember: Honesty is the best policy. Honesty and a porsche.
