I had a nice weekend. I saw Sigur Rós on Friday night, did not much on saturday, had dinner with friends and went to see Land of the Dead on saturday night, then did nothing much on Sunday. Sigur Rós were amazing, Land of the Dead was ok.

There was a huge march for voters' rights yesterday, which was inspiring and successful, and then I went to a great drum circle, then a bit of a ridiculous party, but ridiculous in a good way. Me and a couple of friends bought a vinyl record today and cut pieces out of it like a pizza and stuck them on top of another record. The end result was kinda interesting and sounded like something you'd hear in between songs on a post-rock band's side project. Is this a known practice? Apparently there is some dude on mtv in america who does something like it but I havent heard of anyone else doing it. I wouldnt be surprised if its relatively normal though.
