Saw the new Willy Wonka movie. It was pretty good: the dialogue is pretty much verbatim from the book, although Burton does add quite a few things here and there. There's a slightly different ending, but it's not like his Planet of the Apes remake where it ruins everything. So don't worry, it's good :)

I can understand them missing Fear from a commercial persepective (meaning they simply may not have heard them), but I was under the impression that The Stranglers were the most successful punk group of all time.

The one I have is one that my father made in the 70s. It's not really the greatest, but I like using it. I would suggest glass, probably. The glass ones sound a lot smoother.

I would also suggest raising the action, if you haven't already. Slide is a lot better to play in open tuning, especially E and G, since you can barre with the slide across the whole fret, and it's basically a full chord.

How is it? I've been skeptical about renting it out because I've heard mixed reviews about it.

It's above average for me. The acting's not fantastic and the action's a bit lacking but at least the story strays from the usual end-of-the-world gig.

Keanu Reeves has evolved beyond acting.

How many negative ratings do you think I'll get if I absolutely TRASH Plastic Ono Band on Sputnik?

Probably a lot. But if you does it fair and honest, I've got yer back.

I finished the new Harry Potter, it was sortof mediocre. I totally knew who was going to die.
