Lacrosse is an intense sport to witness... it's always the East Coast schools in the US that are in the playoffs in the NCAA.
The men can really blast shots, man. I would hate to be a goalie with just a throatguard, helmet, and cup on.

Lacrosse owns.
There's more goals than hockey, theres better fights than in hockey and theres more all around excitement. Yet to go see a Toronto Rock game, it will cost you roughly $40 for a good seat. To go see a Toronto Leafs game? They're going to set you back $150 for a crap seat, this is if even able to actually get a ticket.

Nah, just parts of 'The Sad Mafioso.' They don't even use the whole movement.
yes, we rented that about a month ago. it's pretty messed up, and the main theme was stuck in my head for days.
Yeah, the incredibly gruesome images just stick in your head and basically hammer the main theme into your head and makes it stay there.
The worst part was when they raped that virgin, ran into her corpse (the stake through her body and out her mouth was especially freaky) and then just laughed at her.
Also, it's really scary how those were real animals being killed. The tortoise was fine because they chopped it's head off first, but it was just gross how the guy kept stabbing the muskrat in it's chin and through it's head until it died.

This website has a collection of mp3s: all versions of songs on the NWA album "Straight Outta Compton" with swear words ONLY. Every track is cut down to its essential bad words. For some sort of entertainment.
Pure genius. I used to make tapes like this when I was younger and first started buying cd's on my own. I would just make a mix tape of a string of various artists singing "****", it was amazing.
Look. The number of the beast \m/

Knowing how this thread works, I'm not sure whether this would do better as a thread of it's own. Might as well ask though.
Any chance any of you could help me find more of the kind of songs I'm enjoying at the moment? They're an odd kind of song to have a preference for - no particular genre, no particular length or anything like that. They all share a way of (mostly) guitar and bass playing that I'm really liking at the moment, but I've no idea what to call it, as I don't think it's a specific style or anything, just playing little catchy meandering bits of riffs/solos..gah. It's impossible to really say without just providing examples, which I will.
Here; the guitar throughout (but especially at the start) of Stiff Little Fingers - Johnny Was (http://s12.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3O3WA2UMTD44W0E5T3F0MKAPM8); the wah(?)-influenced guitar that begins after the piano intro on North - Through Fire (http://s12.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1KO1CBFJ7R3YV16VMDUPJAJBPL); most of the instrumental outro of The Stone Roses - I Am the Resurrection (http://s19.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=33SX443G6BAPP2PVUDN0SB6DQW); the intro bass and then all the guitar that follows on North - Untitled (http://s12.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3EQH6ILXEJGO516FE7K5RI8LOM); finally, more or less all the bass and guitar work throughout The Stone Roses - Fool's Gold (http://s19.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=22DYPH430Z0G93TIVBNOGNITIH). Fool's Gold less so than all the others though, I think.

The answer to this is simpler than I thought. These "meandering" type solos and riffs you're looking for can be found pretty easily in most Minutemen songs. A lot of D. Boon's solos sound the same, but they're just what you're looking for.

So ANOTHER one of my ex-girlfriends was flirting outrageously with me today. ANd she started telling me about hoe she'd got off with ANOTHER one of my ex-girlfriends.
You may be surprised to find out I only actually have 6 ex-girlfriends.
AndreTheHyena
04-21-2005, 03:19 PM
I only have, like, 2 "real" ex-girlfriends. But I dated both of them for well over a year. I hate girls.
I tend to get used like a pinball machine when it comes to my ex-girlfriends. Constantly getting thrown at one of them, then shot away to another one, and so the cycle repeats.

Not me, I obsess over one for years, or vice versa, and we sleep together for months and months after breaking up until one of us moves on and the other ends up crushed and self-destructively alcoholic and bitter towards all members of the other gender.
Not that I'm bitter or anything.

But, they weren't long relationships by any stretch.

Well people who are morons like that aren't worth hanging out. I drink quite often but nothing to get totally screwed up. It's a social thing that I do, manily with my band, friends, and at shows. when i was a young koltys in the back of the farm, i had "relations" with a pig. this pig grew up and so it was to marry a man like me, strangly, this pig was male and had crazy genitalia all over its body. only five years into our marriage, we had a baby, half human, half freak pig, and so we named him junior, after myself. he had my nose and the pigs rest of the body, i loved it dearly, hoping that it would die as soon as possible, please die son, for me, wont you soon. i awoke one day to find that my son, my pride and joy had fled and the tears of wonderment woke my hard cold stone heart. i loved my pig husband, i hated my son, i am jeff koltys, pig ****er and proud of it.
