Iai and little man having a conversation looks like just one very troubled person talking to themself. Its making me chuckle
"In January 1998, Volpe, singer with Italian black metal band Circus Of Satanis and the leader of an occult group known as the Bestie di Satana, lured 19-yr-old Chiara Marino into the woods near Milan and stabbed her to death, reportedly under a full moon."
They also beat her friend to death with a hammer when he tried to help.
The bodies weren't recovered until May 2004, and now forensics have implicated the group in around 5 other killings.
The Vatican and the Italian government have jumped all over the metal scene there.
I wonder what Lacuna Coil have to say about all this. After all, if Italian metal has a face, it's them.

Cecil Taylor.
Of course people have emerged all over the place to play avant-garde piano. But when the avant garde and free jazz was just developing back in the late 50s and early 60s, they were basically the only ones to forge ahead on the keys. At that point, it was pretty common for their peers to shun the instrument entirely in favor of a more harmonically flexible trio or quartet.

It's 9/8 I think, but that's usually done in groups of 3. Yours is just a 4/4 riff with a half stuck on the end.

It seemes like the first measure is in 9/8, but the rest is in 4/4.

Oh last night/early morning we (my reformed band) rocked the roof off of some bar down town and some people recognized us from our ol' heyday. We played some of our older songs and threw out some new ones I wrote. It was pretty good overall, not bad for not jamming out or anything in 8 months.

Spotted: The Others walking into Oxford Circus tube station. THankfully Dominic Masters wasn't with them otherwise I would have ran across the road and thwacked him in the back of the head, if I hadnt been run over by then.
I also met the singer from Art Brut (the new Jarvis Cocker according to NME) at a gig the other day, I was preparing to hate him but he's a really nice bloke. And his girlfriend is totally hot and in a great band called The Chalets who were playing at the gig. They really were great, probably better than 90% of music I have heard so far this year. I say look out for them.
