Ok Go's History:
Kulash and Nordwind met at summer camp at the ages of 11. Together they formed a band, The Greased Ferrets. They met Andy in High School, and then Dan in college. The Chicago-based quartet thus formed in the Fall of 1998. After releasing several Independent singles they were signed by Capitol in late 2001. And they released their self-titled debut album in September 2002.

Individual Song Review:

Get Over It:
Ok Go's first single and first music video. Probably the best song on the album. It starts out with a nice guitar intro played over a Stomp-Clap kind of percussion. The keyboards add a nice touch this song.
10/10

Don't Ask Me:
One of the better songs on the CD. It has some pretty funny lyrics. It also has a pretty cool organ/keyboard fill in the middle. A catchy song, I would say.
9/10

You're So **** Hot:
Another one of the better songs. Also it has some funny lyrics. It has a nice, catchy repeating keyboard line.
9/10

What to Do:
Not too great of a song. But its not bad. It's a pretty "full" song. No real holes or anything.
6.5/10

1000 Miles Per Hour
This song is pretty slow. It might be a nice song to listen to while driving with a chick, if they like this kind of music.
7.5/10

Shortly Before the End:
This one is slower than 1000 Per Hour. It has a orcestrated feel to it, like it could was played with a conducter directing them. Its boring and too long, though.
6/10

Return:
Another slow one, but a faster slow one, I guess. Its something that you would listen to when you're just lying around doing nothing. I like the chorus' guitar background, it adds a bit more flavor.
7/10

There's a Fire:
The thing that stands out the most to me in this song is the bass line that just repeats throughout the entire song. It goes really well with the keyboard, when it comes in. I find it catchy.
8/10

C-C-C-Cinnamon Lips:
A pretty poppy kinda song. I guess thats what makes it so catchy. The thing I dislike most about this song is the cinnamon, cause cinnamon sucks. I like the keyboard intro. I find Damian's voice semi-annoying, though.
8.5/10

The Fix is In:
This song has the "full" feel to it.Its boring though, and lasts much too long.
5.5/10

Hello, My Trechorous Friends:
My second favorite on the album. It has a choppy feel to it, which makes in more memorable. I find the lyrics pretty funny. It has a cool riff everyonce in a while, too.
9.5/10

Bye Bye Baby:
Another one of the better songs. Another catchy song, too. The lyrics are funny or so they seem. Pretty clever to bye bye at the end of the album.
9/10

Overall Review
Ok Go comes together in a nice, whole sound. Each member adds their own personal touch. The album has a dip in the middle. Starts out great with Get Over It and start to go downhill at What to Do. But goes back up at There's a Fire. Get Over It is the best song on the CD, but the other songs give it that "full" feel I've been talking about so much. I would suggest either buying it or getting someone to burn you a copy.

Overall Rating:
4/5

(this is my first review so don't beat me)

Great review, I love this album too. I bought it as soon as I heard 'Get Over It' because it was just pop-rock at its best and the rest of the album is just as good maybe better. I cant wait for another album by OKGO
