****Maybe Won't Do**** ****
This is probably one of the best tracks on the album, hence why it's the opening track. A bit poppier than the other to albums, and this is evident through out the album. With very infectious chorus however sounding alot like "Love Affair - Everlasting Love"
****Hell Yeah!**** ***
One of the best quotes I have heard to describe this is "OK, which member of N'sync wrote this" and it's write the intro sound like "Justin Timberlake - Rock Your Body" but it is one of those sounds that will stick in your head all day.
****Geeks Get The Girls**** ****
Excellent first single to be taken from the album and it is a really good tongue-in-cheek radio single. However it could be deseptive for people who buy the album on the back of this track.
****Something Real**** ****
Would be a good second single, very melodic and would sound good on any radio station. First time the piano becomes really effective on the album and it definatley helps show of a different sound for the band.
****We Can't Be Friends**** ***
Becomes clear of the influence from The Clash. With the drums and the "Whoo" at the beginning again very catchy record but compared to the preceeding track quite medioca.
****Seperated Anxiety**** ****
In my opinion the intro sounds alot like "The Vines - Ride" this is a more typical American Hi-fi record and I wouldn't at all be surprised if this was written for TAOL and didn't make the cut.
****Everlasting Fall**** ***
Bringing back memories of "Another Perfect Day" good album track I don't think that it would be a good single unless it was a double A-side with "Something Real"
****Highs & Lows**** ***
Another track obviously influenced by The Clash, but the chorus is infectious and poppy.
****Baby, Come Home**** ***
This something that I wouldn't expect from AHF this is one of the very few tracks from them that is obviously about love and losing someone you are close to.
****Where Did We Go Wrong**** ****
Oh Yes!! Here we go quite ska-ish but it's the first real guitar solo on the album, this is a great song another on that would sound good as a double A-side...but it might be able to stand it's own as a single.
****Hearts On Parade**** ***
In traditional AHF style the albums is finished with a longer slower song. However this is one that I prefer as a finisher.
****Overall**** ****1/2
If you didn't like the debut then you probably won't like this. However if you like change and can recognise good music when you hear it then you will give them credit.
****Footer note****
At present this album is only avaliable as an import from Japan, and will cost $23 dollars. However they are hoping to get the album out in the US and UK for next year.
