Line Up:

Gus Pepa – Electric & Acoustic Guitars, All Backing Vocals
Seemingly Endless Time:
The opening track is very energetic the vocals are quite similar to Joe Belladonna. The solo is a bit odd it tends to stop and start but isn’t too bad.
3/5
Stop:
One of my favorites on the album another fast paced song have some very thrashy riffs. The song is very good the only bit that lets it down is the chorus where chants “I wana talk about it. The solos area lot better and fits the song much better than the previous one.
4/5
Veil of Deception:
A completely different change of pace from the first two which were a lot more frantic this is the first ballad on the album but it is only clocks in at just under 2.30mins. The vocals on this track are once again very good but the backing vocals get a bit annoying after a while.
3/5
The Organization:
Another one of my favorites, its back to the faster tempo style songs with quick drums and quicker riffing. Once again the solo fits the song well showing that the guitar has a lot of talent. Death Angel seem to have adopted the Anthrax style backing vocals but less shouting and more melodic.
4/5
Discontinued:
Opens with a great drum beat then incomes a slow and heavy guitar riff it carries that one for a bit then it stops and this funky bass lines kicks in. There riffs a plenty in this song to write a few more songs it seems to me like these are the leftover riffs that they couldn’t fit into any other songs so they have all been put together in one. Nearing the end the songs gets heavier not a bad song but not brilliant.
3/5
A Room With A View:
The second and last ballad on the album this one is an improvement on the previous. An acoustic guitar intro then the vocals come in the singing on this is excellent. Although this is one of the softest and slowest songs on the album I like it and prefer to some of the faster and heavier songs. The guitar solo is great again the song gets a bit heavier towards the end and the soloing at the end of the song is very good as well.
4/5
Stagnant:
There is a guitar lead bit over a riff right at the start of this song and it really reminds me of the intro the apocalyptic city by Testament. Stagnant has a great intro but as it progresses it gets worse when the vocals come in there is also and rather weird riff that sounds more ska then thrash the chorus saves it a bit but this song is probably one of the low points of the album.
2/5
EX-TC:
Powerful vocals throughout with an upbeat fast chorus. All in all an average song with not many good bits in the song but no any low points either.
2/5
Disturbing The Peace:
Opens with a bass line but not as funky as before. After the last two songs which were good but not as good as the others this comes as a bit of a relief as its back to the better songs. A great chorus and the riff the solo is some of his best work showing that he is quite underrated and should get more credit.
4/5
Falling Asleep:
Starts off with the sound of a Childs mobile [one of those things that helps them get to sleep] then the bass enters. There are some nice riffs throughout with a really catchy chorus. One of two of the lyrics aren’t very good but that’s really the only bad point about this song and once again another great solo.
4/5
The album is a strong album but doesnt compete with the like of among the living [anthrax] and the legacy [testament] but still a good buy for anyone intrested in the thrash scene i will give this album 3/5
Positives:
Fans of Anthrax won’t be disappointed the vocals are brilliant all the way through and so is the guitars and drums.
Negative:
The album doesn’t seem to flow very well I think it hasn’t been arranged very well with the two softer songs coming straight after some very fast and energetic songs.
