Played some late night risk last night, from midnight until about 4 AM. We didnt finish since it was getting late, so me and another guy eliminated the other 2 players all in one turn and called it a draw. Now Im about to go to some girls party.

You really need more power?
JCM 800 is one of the loudest amps.
If you're gonna run two cabs, why not run two amps?
Blend the sound together to create sex.
As for cabs I highly recommend Avatar cabs.
Cheap but real nice sound.
If you have the money check out Bogner, Orange or Diezel cabs.
I would stay away from Mesa cabs since they just add more bass.
But if that's what you're looking for then.. check them out.

well i would LOVE to run two amps, at the moment all i can really afford is another cab. eventually that may turn into two amps! the jcm 800 is really ****ing loud but playing in a full band thrashing out punk style it really is not enough, i know it sounds unbelievable and the guitar forum would be like up in arms over that statement, but it's true. i'll check out avatar cabs, thanks dude

No doubt.
I would actually check out like a Fender Tonemaster or the older Marshall JCM's since Marshall just released a whole new line of amps... or a Peavey 5150.
To get more power, a boost will help.
Turn the level up an color it a bit with the gain knob on whatever boost you get an you got a loud, noisy, ballsy amp.
By the way, Nick.
You should've scooped that up and then flipped it on eBay.
People are goin nuts for the original 5150 since they just released a 5150 III

That was done on purpose. Since MGS3 is Big Boss who you are playing with and it is set in the 60's before radar and other advancements. It just adds to the storyline. Compared to playing as solid snake in mgs1 and mgs2 and raiden in mgs2 and stuff. Its nut how detailed they are.

I saw some big black dude and a white dude almost get in a fight last night at midnight when I went out to eat. The white dude and his girlfriend were arguing (not too loud, but we were farther away) and the black dude int he booth across from them was like "YOU BEST SHUT DA **** UP, IM TRYIN TO ENJOY MYSELF AND YOU COME IN HERE BRINGING EPISODES OF WHATEVER, ACTIN LIKE A BITCH." Then the white dude was like "So now im a bich?", and his girlfriend was doing that annoying crap all girls near fights do like "Noooooo, Stooop iiiiiiit!". The black dude turned around and did that thing where you extend your arm forward and motion with your hand for somebody to come to you, and he was like "CMON AND BRING IT". The white dude stood up and pussed out and didnt do anything. After the white people left and it got broken up the black dude was like "NOW YALL STARIN AT ME LIKE IM DA CRAZY NIGGA."

Whats an arpeggio?
No but seriously, aren't arpeggios like pretty straight forward? Not that hard to pick the individual notes of a chord is it? Step it up to some sweepage and then maybe i can understand. But once u get the flippin patterns down sweeps ain't hard.
I like to hit tons of open strings then turn those little knobs at the top of my guitar. and it goes *WIMMY WAM WAM WAZZLEE*

So I saw Smashing Pumpkins last night in their last show at the fillmore and it ruled. They played an acoustic first set for 1.5 hours and then a second 2 hour electric set that brought the cr00sh. The sound engineering is so good at The Fillmore and the tone was awesome. Billy's soloing was impressive. There was this one song that was amazing where during the choruses he does these stutters on some word with an "sh" sound like "sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh" and then there were these sweet bridges with the lyrics "Love is good / love is fine / love is dumb / love is blind" and then he ended on one of those solos.
Also, the touring bassist is ridiculously attractive, especially on stage.

3.5 hours.... they barely have that much good material, and i doubt they only played the good stuff. sounds mad boring even for a band that released one of my favorite albums ever
My thing is now, if I go to a show and there are boring sections I sort of glaze over my eyes and ears and just recede into my own mind, using the visuals and audio as a backdrop to my meditations. Sounds sorta dumb but it's odd how easy it is for me to fall back into my own mind when I'm surrounded by a bunch of people and should be paying attention to the show going on right in front of me.
