I thought I'd get flamed into hell if I posted this as a thread, so I'm posting this here.

I would like to listen to some genuine emo. I severely dislike the MTV "emo" bands. The closest bands to emo or hardcore that I don't hate are Alexisonfire, A Wilhelm Scream (the songs on Sputnikmusic's main site), Thrice. I heard a Converge song and it sounded grindcoreish, maybe it was a similarly-named band.

Anyone wanna help? I looked through lists and so on but they're so ridiculously long, i don't know which bands are really "essential"

Some suspects to be taken into questioning include several members of the internet musical forum Sputnik Music. It appears the victim was viewing the site during his last moments and a history of the hard drive besides showing numerous pornographic websites, "This guy was a sodomite" reports one deputy, shows an almost constant presence at the Sputnik site where he would share his most intimate details. More details to come later.

That's a really good album. It's also fun to play bass to since it's extremely easy for the most part. The song writing is stellar though.

Get A Types next. There's barely any screaming, but the music orgasmic and Jay's singing voice is even better than his screaming. Just be prepared for quite a change and be willing to accept that change.

They're recording/writing a new album presently so that will hopefully be out before the end of the year, or early next year.

I really just wanna meet the lead singer to beat him up.. and I have no idea why.
I would rather take on Panic! At the Disco, but I really feel a strong urge to beat the crap out the lead singer from FFTL
