You should do that, I actually bought a new Damaged record a month or so ago, great album. My War or Who's Got The 10 1/2 are my favourite Black Flag albums though.

I'm getting pretty close to having everything Black Flag and a considerable deal of bootlegs along with every related Black Flag artist and the many bands that sound like Black Flag. I'm a bit of a fanboy.

The Indian summer they ahve on there is some trippy band from the seventies or something. It was dissapointing.

"English is tight" might be one of the best phrases ever. But yeah, I know what it is because whenever I get bored, ill just study stuff online and wikipedia, and a few weeks ago i was going over plot devices.

If you guys didn't know, a McGuffin is an item in a movie or a book that isnt really important to the characters, but is used to move the plot forward (to get characters to go to certain places, which leads to some other event happening). It's not important what it is, its what happens because of it, so McGuffins are completely interchangeable with any other object. In some instances, a McGuffin is completely forgot about by the end of a film. Examples of McGuffins are the briefcase from pulp fiction, and the money from Psycho.

The phrase was originated from Alfred Hitchcock, who said he got it form an old story about 2 men on a train. I cant remember exactly how it went, but this is pretty close. One man asks whats in anothers bag, and he says 'its a mcguffin'. The first man asks what it is, and the other says 'for trapping lions on the scottish highlands'. The first man says 'bu there arent any lions on the scottish highlands', and the first replies with 'then a mcguffin is nothing at all.

NAh dude, he has this show now on HBO that was about a tour he did (I think last summer and fall), it was 30 days and al across the country, and cameras followed him around. So today, I was in Cambridge (a city just outside of Boston where Harvard and MIT are) in Harvard Square and I saw some dude get stabbed. It was intense. This guy was walking down the street when out of no where this other dude just runs up to him, screaming, with a knife raised, jams it into his shoulder, and then sprinted away...

I called 911 and the cops and stuff game. The dude's shoulder was messed up. I had to give a description and everything. :eek:
