I smoke from time to time. I have a lot of fun when I do. It's generally at parties and such. I like to do it instead of drinking sometimes because the side effects are not as bad and it's easier for me to get.

My guitar finally got here. I got a Jackson KE 3, and I was tuning it up, and my string broke. I thought it was no problem, and put on another one. I tried tuning it up, and it snapped again. I made a thread in the guitar forum, and I got helped, then I tried to level out the bridge, etc. and all I managed to do was get confused. Luckily I have a friend who knows how to do it, and I'm jamming with him on Thurs.

Just thought I'd share. :)

Edit: I missed the "worst END" part. The reason it ended like that is because there's more to come.

Yeah, but at the end of Half Life one there was a fun boss to fight, and all the while through the game I was hoping to get a full sized machine gun, and not just have the SMG.

The variety of enemies seemed really weak aswell, and did I miss something with the Vortigons helping Freeman?!

I think I didn't pay enough attention, the ant lions were cool though.

You certainly didn't pay attention too much, but its easy to miss a lot of the story elements. Most of them weren't handed to you, they would be on newpaper clippings on the wall and stuff. As for the vortigaunts, if you talk to them they tell you how they were freed from their slavery. And I thought that the plasma rifle filled the machine gun void quite well, not sure what you were looking for there. However, I agree that a larger variety of enemies, specifically more ailien enemies, was needed.

My computer couldn't handle HL2 unfortunatly. Sony screwed us over and didn't include a AGP slot on a 2002 computer. Bleh.

Think I'm gonna play it through again on Hard and look for more of the story. Like why they don't go to Ravenholme anymore and stuff.

I don't know if the gun had a name, but in the first Half Life there was that gun the marines had with the ammo that fed into it, the biggst machine gun. The SMG was just pathetic and the plasma rifle just felt like a Halo rip off.

Enemies wise, I was annoyed there were no of the larger gun toting style enemies, again like the one in the original Half Life with the funny bee firing guns.

The ending was good I guess, just it felt too open and it was just a repation of the first games ending.

Have to say though, the characters are fantastic.

forget half life 2 im stuck on final fantasy 10 for ps2. Damm flying ship boss man. :(

Uh, now I can't remember since I haven't played it in awhile.

It's not that I'm stuck, I think it's just that I got tired of playing.

The only parts I remember are when you're doing the underground railroad-esque running through the sewers... and you have to put cinder blocks on that plank so you can make a ramp to jump from.

It's really early in the game, I know. I just got lost in the sewers, I think.

Well my Katana is still in the mail, which is a real hand forged sword by a black smith in China, and this will be my 2nd piece, but it will be more of a show piece.

For 2 reasons it will be a show piece :

1. it's around 15 - 20 pounds and it's ver 6 feet long...
2. it is not well made as a real hand forged weapon

These are the start of my collection of sharp and shiny things.

Plus I am buying a Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish flags to go on my ceiling.
And you know...more sharp and shiny objects.
