So my alarm clock didn't go off for some reason this morning. So I woke up at 9:00 AM and the lecture started at 9:30, so I didn't bother hurrying. So I arrived at the University at the end of that lecture. Joined up with my friends and we went to a pub, because our next class was only at 2. Drank a couple of beers (different kinds though), went to eat some place and went to that class at 2. Turns out things had been changed and there was no class. So went back to the pub. :-/

So I went to University today, to have no class at all, and just spend all my money on food and booze. What a useless day. :upset:

I'm doing a huge conference project for my Politics of Race In Music class, and it involves discussions of how rock music, while in the '60s being relatively infused with a number of influences both white and black and colored, became largely white-dominated by the late 70s and early 80s. In the course of the project I'll probably have to do some polls, probably regarding popular musicians' ability to have "soul" and who doesn't, and this seems like the easiest place to do it. I don't have to do them yet, but when I do, I need a decent amount of answers. Who could I talk to here about arranging that so that people will see it and be motivated to put their answers in?
