What is it about?

I only read biographies and political books.
It's a political satire/thriller. It takes place in 1984, which when it was written was the near future.

To Winston Smith, a young man who works in the Ministry of Truth (Minitru for shot), come two people who transform his life completely. One is Julia, whom he meets after she hands him a slip reading, "I love you." The other is O'brien, who tells him :We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness." The way in which Winston is betrayed by the one and, against his own desires and instincts, ultimtely betrays the other, makes a story of mounting drama and suspense.

And I have an amazing teacher. If he was available to you I'd definently recommend him. Otherwise, it depends what you're learning. I wouldn't pay 15 bucks a week to just have them teach you songs. I've learned scales, theory type stuff, good speed excerises (some don't help), other technique things, chords and how they fit with the scale, stuff like that.

its a few riffs on a basic scale on the 7th fret, jazzin around a little, and he occasionally rips a few right down the scale, which is simple once you learn to barre, which i did when i leanred stairway

and dont worry magicbus, i started punk too, with riffs like Brainstew and 7 Nation army, but thankfully LZIV changed my ways. I honestly have no idea why i liked that album...i hated it, but i couldnt stop listening to it.

But anyway, i wish my dad played guitar. One of my friends has a really amazing dad, and he wouldve been famous with his band, but THE RAMONES got signed instead of his band sincep punk was in.

But this kid went to Tennesse for a wedding or somethin, stopped by a local music store and was playin an acoustic, and some guy gave him his card and said 'if you ever want a record deal, call me up'

On acoustic, a 17 year old kid can get a deal? Ive heard him shred before, and this kid is amazing. Hes playing at the talent show, and i just want to see his band
