i just realized you were talking to rock not roll. there's an amazing radio station down here called rnr. you hear everything. the dj doesn't have a playlist. he/she goes over to the records/cds and just gets a handful of them and picks a song. they usually play the deep tracks, so like you wont hear "stairway to heaven" or "she loves you" but you'll here everything from buddy holly to metallica to goo goo dolls. it's awesome

Man, I wish we had a decent radio station. I listen to CD's much more often, but it would be awesome to be able to turn on the radio and have a good song playing. It just doesn't happen to me anymore. It's all modern rock/nu metal, and rap/hip-hop.

MP3's on comp when I'm in my room, CD's in the car, and never radio. Radio, as already stated, is pretty much worthless these days, unless you can find a good classic rock station. Nothing meets standards at all in the metal dept.

OK, so I saw Megadeth last night. Good show, the band put on a solid performance, the sound was nice, atmosphere was great. Dave is a really good front man.
The set list was a bit lacking.
Diamond head were good as support when they stuck to their older material.

I think the best part of the night was when I found out Porcupine Tree are playing Glasgow in April :eek:

I always thought the first four parts were really good, though I suppose they did slowly get worse. Mostly Harmless was the only real disappointment for me, but even then it wasn't unreadable. The TV show I didn't like much at all, which is why I'm not sure whether to look forward to or be afraid of the film.

I was bored, so I changed the title to something, just for something to do. Then someone spotted it, so I changed it again, and then I got a request for a Hitchiker's Guide reference. Voila.

Shadius - there's a few posts of mine about that towards the start of the thread; it basically boils down to what Gilmour said, but with a lot more words.

Also, I think DBoon was temporarily crazy/ill, or something?
