I actually didn't find it like that either (and I wasn't even stoned!); the girls tend to be in the film a lot, but not actually taking up much of the storyline - a lot of the comedy is based on the characters - Eli, Klitz, and Kelly in particular are great characters. Nothing at all like those terrible teen "comedies" like Get Over It, Bring It On, etc.

Like I've said before, I get confused where the sarcasm stops. People'll say a sarcastic comment then someone'll say one back and it'l go on and on and eventually (or not) they'll start start accusing them of not taking sarcasm and then they start to really rip bits out of each other. It's just not worth the bother of posting sometimes just to get flamed.

I have both a "to watch" and a "to buy" list for movies and cd's, respectively. Both are getting to be quite large.
I can never get my "to buy" list to stay the same. I always cross off a bunch of them and put new ones on, making the list pointless.

My problem is that I add cd's to the list faster than I can buy them, so the list is huge.

And I rent all my movies from the library. My mom is trying to prove some point to Blockbuster by not paying a two dollar fine, so I can't get movies there anymore. :upset:

I actually didn't find it like that either (and I wasn't even stoned!); the girls tend to be in the film a lot, but not actually taking up much of the storyline - a lot of the comedy is based on the characters - Eli, Klitz, and Kelly in particular are great characters.

Did you get a refund?

Bartender
09-03-2004, 12:05 PM
Yep, we kept the bonus disc one and rented something else out for the night. Took the bonus disc back the next day, they apologised, refunded the money (as well as the £4 or so we'd spent on other films, which was nice of them)..and proceeded to put just the bonus disc back in the machine catalogue. So we tried it again, and lo and behold, just the bonus disc. Again, took it back, refund.

The jackass who works there during the daylight hours didn't realise that it doesn't matter if the disc is physically back in the machine, the computer has to have read the barcode to know it's returned. So it thought we still had it out, and charged us £1 every 6 hours for 4 days before we realised (we'd rented 5 films or so in the meantime, which should have cost about £5, but our £26.99 of credit was all gone). So we went back and complained, they returned the bonus disc properly and topped our account back up to £26.99.

The upshot of all that being, we'd rented about a dozen films so far, and it hadn't cost us a damn thing.

Today sucks. I have to work in the shop today so I have to work an hour longer, I only get a 1/2 lunch, and I've still got my other job to go to tonight as soon as I leave here! This whole week has just sucked. I had a docters appointment yesterday and had to have some tests done. First I got the crap shocked out of my. Then I got stabbed with needles in about 8 different places in my arm. Then after the test results I found out I'm most likely going to have to have surgery on my arm. After looking at the results and telling me that, they decided to do the same test to my other arm for comparison. Turn out my other arm has the same problem, it just isn't as pronounced so I don't have symptoms in that arm...yet. So I'll probably have to have the same surgery done to both arms. I've been fighting with my medical insurance company for weeks now. I made a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureu and I'm considering talking to my attorney. And my house insurance (which is much better than my medical) is going to pay for part of muy wifes engagement ring that she lost. But because I don't have any of the original sales paperwork, they are only going to be paying for an "average" diamond. And they only pay up to $1500/item because I didn't have a seperate policy for jewelry. So the ring that I paid like $3000 for is down the drain and is going to be replaced with a ring worth half as much.

I cant wait for soccer to start around here. I really need to start running, im so out of shape i can probably only do a 24 minute-3 mile.

I can't run for more than 3 minutes with becoming really tired.
