01-06-2005, 05:24 PM
The WIldhearts are hard to explain.
I guess they're mainly punk rock, but they have a lot of heavy rock moments.
They write great catchy, cheery songs and tend to be cheesey alot of the time.
The put on a truely phenomenal live show, the second best I've ever seen.
They're albums are top quality, and just classic. The songs are fun but they don't really mess around witht he recordings if you know what I mean.
That's about all that I can think of right now...And sorry to Bartender if you think I did a poor job of describing them :p

You need 3 months since you've joined, 1000 rep points, and then 1,000 posts for 3 stars, and the same, only with 1500 posts instead of 1000 for 4 stars.
This explains it.

LordDargon
01-06-2005, 07:15 PM
9232, and I know I give out more than 100.
That's right, use my formula:

g = r / 50

r = 9232

g = 9232/50

g = 185

So you give out 185 reps eh. Your calculations must have been really off or something :p

How much you give out in rep is determined by your total rep. A mod with 20,000 gives out 400 rep. A user with 10,000 gives out 200 rep. A user with 5,000 gives out 100 rep, and so on and so forth.

It doesn't limit how much you can give out. But the ammount of rep you have affects the ammount of rep you give out
You give out 2% of the rep that you have.

well to be fair, it was Mr Vai's fault. Him and his band put on a ****ing amazing show, you just don't know who to watch cause they're are permanently doing amazing stuff. But The Wildhearts was a close second. In my eyes The Wildhearts>Metallica, Chilli Peppers, System of a down, Millencolin, incubus and everyone else that I've ever seen.
I desperately wanna see Grand Magus though as they're meant to put on an outstanding show as well :)

Here in sask we don't get barely anything for concerts. Metallica/Godsmack came and Def leppard. But mostly just no name bands that really suck or rappers so i like to take advantage of the shows that are decent here. I wish i was seeing them with Lamb and SF but what can you do eh. Slipknot should headline this tour though. I don't see how unearth or Kse could headline above them.

RHCP's are a great band, i think john frusciante or however you spell it has been there best guitarist by far, his guitar playing is quite unique and he doesnt just stick to power chords like alot of bands these days do. Fva song of RCHP is probably Scar Tissue or Californication.

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but...

... I've been watching 24 for the past hour, and in the commercials in between this hour and the next hour, there was a commercial for that Sam Jackson movie "Coach Carter."

The music in the background was a rock song, it sounded like a cover to a Phil Collins song with the line "I've waited for this moment all my life." I've looked at the soundtrack, but it's all hip hop, and I've googled the lyrics, but none of the songs that I pull up match that distinct sound...

... anyone recognize this song? I'm interested to find out, but to no avail :(

EDIT: does anyone follow the show 24? This is the first season I'm going to try to watch all the way through, because I never did catch the first two seasons... hopefully I can get to Blockbuster and rent the first two seasons on DVD.

Ugh...I can't be bothered doing any work at all. But it needs to be done...but I can't be bothered.
Therein lies my dilemma

I'm done being an AIM trading whore...for the moment. I lost all the music I got anyway, when my computer broke in November.
I know this guy on soulseek who has (had) close to 14 000 mp3s, then he said he 2 nephews were messing around on his computer and he figured they deleted everything, becuase it's all gone. :amaze:

Wow...

There would be some smacking around to do after all the yelling that would be done to them if that was me...

I would knife them.

(Then go out and BUY SOME CD's.)

I would knife them, steal their CDs and their wallet then buy more CDs and sell their car.
