There are nothing wrong with drugs if used responsibly. Obviously, if you're a junkie, you're an idiot, but there is nothing wrong with recreational use. It's enlightening, to say the least, and there is nothing that pisses me off more than people who've never so much as puffed a joint bringing their condescending attitude saying things like "I don't need drugs to have a good time" near me.

I don't need drugs to have a good time either, hell, I don't need music to have a good time, but that doesn't stop me from listening to it when I can. It's something enjoyable, recreational, and the fact that the government has deemed it illegal is completely irrelevant.

Any problems that stem from drug use is not the drugs themselves, it's the people that use them, and that's FACT, period.

I haven't tried them no, but the main reason is that after having been around kids who did do them, I realized I had no desire to...not to mention the fact that I have a problem with addictions, as far as personality goes. Really though, most people that I know that got high even infrequently were less fun to be aroud when they were high...

No, never went to Christian school. It's a combination of people I didn't like doing tons of drugs, the propoganda, and uneasiness. But I never went to Christian school...I just tended not to like the kids that do drugs. So when my friends that I did like started doing it too, the uneasiness probably sprang from the idea that they might turn into idiots that I didn't like also. Of course, rationally thought out, this idea makes no sense. Nevertheless, I can't help but feel uneasy. Oh well. Whatever.

I want a bass too. I've actually been playing slap on the low strings of my guitar, and I find it really, really helps with writing riffs. I've written some really cool riffs that were basically spawned from playing around with snapping/slapping strings.

I was looking at those SX ones on E-Bay, theres a decent one with a neck-through and a mahogany body for like 150...and it did get great reviews.

I've heard the SX basses are actually really good too (as a beginning instrument, of course).

It's just a pain in the arse for me to pick up a new instrument because I'm left handed, and lefty stuff costs more.

Whats the difference between a Strat and Tele? I'm not very informed on guitars. But if teles are the other type..I know I like the look of Strats better. I like the fine cut body, how smoothly shaped it is, I dont like the box shapes of the other kind, though they must play better, because a lot of people use them..

Teles generally have a very "twangy" sound. But they really can be used in any application (James Root from Slipknot uses one). Strats usually have single coil pickups which get more high end, but the one you're looking at is a fat strat with humbuckers, so you'll get a warmer type of tone.

Now I've checked it out. Looks good, better than my bass. I wish mine had 24 frets and a body suited to very easy access to the really high frets. Kinda hard to get at anything above 17th fret. Nice looking bass though, which color do you prefer on it? the black or sunburst?

I live in the same place as Eggs'n'spam...hes an alter-ego of mine, they banned that username and I havn't switched back.
