Welcome to the Jungle 5/5
awesome opener, one of G N' R's heavier songs.
It consists of Axl Roses orgasiming over Slash's insane riffs and solo.

Sweet Child o' Mine 5/5
one of my favorite G N' R songs, amazing from start to finish, although slash dosn't like to play this song.

Patience 3/5
a decent song, IMO not the best, but a alright song.
This track features slash on accoustisc, backround whistling, and Axls voice sounding very deep; so yes this is a change from ordinary G N' R, but hey if its what you like...

Paradise City 5/5
one of G N' R's classics great song with a catchy chorus and great verses
and lead.

Knockin' on Heaven's Door 4/5
probably one of G N' R's most noticable songs, a buetiful song written by Bob Dylan, and preformed buetifuly by G N' R, i feel its a little dragged out...

Civil War 4/5
"What we've got here is a failer to communicate...." buetiful song, one of my favorites with amazing lead and solo.

You Could be Mine 4/5
Heavier G N' R right here, i liked there heavier songs myself, catchy chorus and verse, great guitar, awesome song, vocals remind me of Velvet Revolver.

Don't Cry 2/5
many people would find this sort of song beutiful but i personally dont like it, other then Slash's lead of course...

November Rain 3/5
some very nice piano work on this song, nice ending solo by Slash, and nice back up vocals, i like the ending myself pretty cool.

Live and Let Die 4/5
beutiful song with amazing guitar work and catchy tempo.

Yesterdays 3/4
seems like a filler to me, but this is a greatest hits album so i don't know what to make of it.

Ain't it Fun 4/5
The vocalist on this song sounds very punkish, and the guitar very metal, all an all nice track.

Since I Don't Have You 2/5
a very vintage sound, not my thing.

Smapthy for the Devil 4/5
nice ender :) a very strange sound for G N' R though.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strong Ponits
The overall bulk of the album with its 14 tracks, all ranging from 3:02 mins. to 8:57 mins. ,theres alot to listen to, not to mention its there "Greatest Hits", and it cost about as much as an average CD, i only paid $13.00.

Weak Points
the album missed some great songs like Its so Easy, and with so many songs you may get bored fast...also Axl Roses voice tends to burst eardrums on a high volume.

All and All

a great album for the person who wants highlights of Guns n' Roses career, for its price and its balk its a great buy

5/5

Noticable problems with this album -

- It's quite obviously a Greatest Hits rather than a Best Of. It's not their best work at all.
- Far, far too many covers.
- Only 3 Appetite tracks - when Appetite towers over everything else they did.
- It contains the awful Don't Cry.

Guns N Roses have now joined Thin Lizzy is a unique club. That unique club being, that you improve their back catalogue tenfold by removing everything on the Greatest Hits, and leaving only album tracks.

The review I won't comment on.
