Second Hand News - 9/10
A rocking pop song about being someone's number two. Catchy chorus and slick harmonies. Good acoustic bits here and there.
Dreams - 10/10
One of the most soulful and seductive sounding songs to come out of rock and roll. Oddly enough, this was Fleetwood Mac's ONLY #1 hit. Pretty much a song about love fading over time, and realizing that dreams can be shattered. Very touching song.
Never Going Back - 9/10
Very nifty acoustic song. You'll hear it one the radio every once and a while. This song was supposedly written about life after a bad breakup. A song about life after love. Very positive song. Again, the acoustic guitar is brilliant.
Don't Stop - 9/10
One of the more radio friendly songs from Fleetwood Mac. Very catchy that fits in with a trilogy of breakup songs (Dreams, Go Your Own Way) from this album. Upbeat, 6/8 timing provides us with a classic pop song. "Don't Stop....Thinkin' About Tomorrow....." :p
Go Your Own Way - 8/10
The most grossly overplayed Fleetwood Mac track. Written by Lindsey Buckingham about his feelings towards his breakup with band-mate Stevie Knicks. It has it's uber catchy chorus and some cool guitar parts, but due to its overplaying on the radio, it loses its appeal after a while.
Songbird - 10/10
The best song on this album. Piano and Christine's vocals flood through the speakers and into your heart. This song is believed to be about lovers and friends. Almost like a prayer to keep everyone safe from pain. One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.
The Chain - 10/10
Second best song on the album. This is a song about bitter feelings between old flames. "If you don't love me now, then you'll never love me again" gives this song a hurt, angry and selfish feeling to it. A cool rocker with some country flavour thrown in to the mix.
You Make Loving Fun - 9/10
This song is sassy. Their fourth single from the album, sings about coming out of your broken heart and finding love once again. A nice pop song that shows us that we are indeed heading into the 1980's. Nice funky keyboard in this track.
I Don't Wanna Know - 7/10
Not the best song off the LP, but a catchy little ditty nonetheless. Probably the least known track off the hit riddled album. Has its moments, as it reminds me allot of a 50's or 60's pop hit (Everley Brothers, The Hollies etc...). Got some nice acoustic bits, but nothing to write home about.
Oh Daddy - 9/10
The most haunting song from the album. Christine sings her heart out about the "Daddy" character refusing her love, yet controlling her like a puppet. Very nice sounding song, acoustic guitar and synth work are very eerie. Nice agressive percussion is also to be heard.
Gold Dust Woman - 7/10
One of Stevie Nicks more popular tracks. Meaning behind the song remains a mystery to mostly everyone (even the band). Softly, acoustic guitar and obscure lyrics finish off the album "Rumours". Not a great song, but a cult favorite.

Overall Rating - 9/10
This is a classic album for sure. Regardless of its over saturation on the radio waves, Fleetwood Mac delivers one of the most emotional albums. Full of heartache and new hope, this album was written amongst great tension between band members but proved to be their most successful. And as history has proven, tension and miserable working conditions usually bring out the best of bands (Beatles being a big example). This cd is rather affordable if you just want the regular edition. I suggest Pop/Rock fans go pick it up.
