Track Review

Anywhere with you: An excellent way to start off the album. The first single off the cd as well. Everything pretty much the way it should be on this song. The only problem i had is that it was over pretty quick. 4/5

What went wrong: A weird song by STD. They sing about being in a police station for doing something and being strip searched. It doesnt really make any sense to me but its a good song overall, despite its weirdness. 4/5

Driving in the Dark: Not one of my favorites, but still had the saves the day feeling to it, so its not that bad. The chorus though would have to be the highlight of the song. 3/5

Rise: One of my favorites. An excellent chorus. This song flows together very well. Everything is near perfect to me, guitars, bass, drums, vocals. Perfect. 4.5/5

In Reverie: Ahh the good ol' title track. It doesnt really start off that good, but it then goes into a catchy chorus. Not the best, but definately not the worst. 3.5/5

Morning in the Moonlight: Opens with some drums, then comes the guitars. This is a fast moving song for STD, but in the end it still works. 3.5/5

Monkey: This is a weird song. I dont get the lyrics one bit. At some points itll be talking about a person, then itll switch over to about a monkey eating our poultry, but its an awesome song. It also has a nice short and sweet STD solo. 4/5

In my waking life: Starts off with singing then goes straight to the chorus. Not one of my favorites of STD, but is still bearable by all means. 3/5

She: A very slow song by STD. Kinda makes you wanna go to sleep. An acoustic guitar is pretty much all youll hear throughout the whole song besides chris' voice. Not that bad in my opinion. 3.5/5

Where are you?: Good beginning,a nd a catchy chorus and verse. The bad thing is that its over at a about 1 1/2 minutes. 3.5/5

Wednesday the 3rd: Personally my favorite track off the whole album. An awesome, slow beginning starts it all off. The verses flow together very well, and i think it has one of the best, catchiest chorus' in this cd. Also a short, cool solo too. I love it. 5/5

Tomorrow too late: Weird beginning. Chris' voice is weird, but youll get used to it. Has an awesome chorus, almost as good as the last. Flows really well all together. 4.5/5

Overall the cd to me is a 4.5/5

Advantages:
Good, catchy songs
almost a solo in every single song for you solo freaks out there
Its just plain cool

Disadvantages (theres only one though)
The cd is over really quick. Its bearly over 30 minutes long, so that means most of the songs are relatively short.

This cd is definately worth a look and a buy. When you first get it, you wont really think that much of it, but once youve listened to it for a while, itll start to grow on you more and more, and then youll love Save The Day.

Watch out for saves the Days new album, "ups and Downs", coming this fall to vagrant records.

I love Stay What You Are. Freakish and At Your Funeral are very well written and performed. I found In Reverie to be to poppy for my tastes.

well, saves the day [(STD) hahaha] is a great band theer former cd's are better than this in my opinion... the singers voice changed and he had no accent i feel this ruined the cd.
