I don't know any of the exact EQ settings, but he uses lots of low and mids, not much treble. Lots of delay on most songs, as well. The occaisional flange effect as well.

apparently there is a new concept or something for the tool album, being like about light and dark, or about the moon and stuff? and theres FINALLY a release date!!!!!!!!!!

OKK so apparently the code is actually something, check out what he sent:

Take the first 6 characters, because generally in a date there are 6 characters, for example (09/25/05)

There are 5 stars altogether, each with 5 points.
The first 3 stars, if multiplied by their points (3 x 5) would be 15.
The second set of stars, then multiplied by their points (2 x 5) would be 10.
This adds up to the 25th, the day of the last quarters of the moon, but Sundays are generally not days for a CD to be released.
Therefore the line, which is one by one persay, would simply be 1 and when added to the others would be 26, Monday.

well your totally right about everything. tool is...unpredictable. and the start thing, who knows, some fonts seem to have 5 some seem to have 6? the point was to make it hard for fans, thats what deadohiosky8 told me, because this was not supposed to be leaked out but its okay now. apparently deadohiosky is realllly close to blair, nephew or something?? i have no idea, but yeah, tools insane, who knows what theyre doing? they could be lying, since we havent heard anything yet and september is coming up but think about it, in earllly 2004 the news was that danny, adam and justin had made frames for 11 to 12 songs already, and were waiting for maynard to come back from APC's tour to start recording (which ended in June). And I hope Tool doesn;'t find out we know... Because then they'll have to wait until the next moon thing... Because that is why they're releasing it then right? Because the 25th is the day of the last quarters of the moon. So they'd have to wait again... I don't know.

You are right. I remember them saying that the album would come out either winter 2004 or early 2005. I waited...and nothing came of it. They obviously have had a lot of time to make these songs exactly as they want them, so yeah, they probably are done or close to it. It's just, September is really close, even if it is late september. I can barely hold on now after hearing of it's release date. I can't wait haha. I hope it's great.

Under his technology section on "future" it reads that on the next Tool tour he will be using new drums, and it shows a picture of purple electronic drum pads in a foam case.

He's planned this for awhile. I saw it in an interview where they asked him why he switched. He didn't give a real reason, but he said it wasn't because his old "mix kit" was bad, he really likes it. I guess he just wanted a change.

Because I had surgery last June to remove a pilonidal cyst (well 4 times before that also, but I won't count those), and the wound refuses to heal so the guy who did the operation likes to watch it to make sure its progresses. That last operation cost me half my junior year and all of my senior year of high school, and I have a colostomy bag from it too (but thank God its temporary).

Meh, its not as bad as people say it is. But I don't get shaken up by anything really, so my opinion may not work for most people. The only bad part is changing it, which I just did, but you get used to doing it, and most of the time you don't even notice its there. Plus its a good conversation starter. :p

That's really exciting news about the release date, I'm in an extremely good mood now and will be for many days.
As far as the surgery goes, that seems quite painful/uncomfortable. Too add on in the surgery talk, I had open-heart surgery when I was two years old. I still have the scar from it.

okay so lets just set everything up.

pygmy love circus claims tools going on tour. bands generally go on tour about lets say a month after a cd release? maybe a few weeks? that would make september perfect you know? and with the info from deadohiosky about september 25/26 which is the last quarter of the moon for the month AND international tool day, and the album concept being about astronomy, that makes sense too. then theres the code, which with that whole math thing really does prove that something involves that day. and then the whole .07 and 11 ahhh it fits really well. and aug 23 is their lateralus vinyl like it says on their site
