That would be crap. You don't mess with those thing.
I would rather not hear it, than hear it with different lyrics or intrumental.
Black Friday would be boring as an intrumental anyway.

Same here. I don't really think him being Christian should stop him singing it. I mean, it's only words. Tom Araya's a catholic and he still sings about killing.

I would like to see them played live, but in the end it is his choice.
I think that even if he weren't christian, they still wouldn't be in the setlist (At least not on a regular basis anyway).

Wow. I just listened to the remastered RIP. And its like, hmm, the drums are too dominant, the bass can be over powering (like in the Hangar 18 intro), the vocals are ok. Except on some songs, like TNP, where they cab get a little annoying.
I'm gunna jump on the band waggon and say Original > Remastered
The only albums that should have been remastered were KIMB, and maybe Peace Sells and SFSGSW. Rust in Peace was fine the way it was.

Not to start a whole big Metallica vs. Megadeth feud.
But Hetfield does play some solos in Metallica. Like the slower solo in MOP, Nothing Else Matters, he wrote the solo in Fight Fire with Fire, and the solo for Hit the Lights.
But anyways, Mustaine is far better than James.

The other day I went to a local used CD shop. I saw "Risk" there, and was wondering if I should've bought it. It was only 6 bucks. I was weary considering I've only heard and liked Megadeth's first 5 albums.
That and the world needs a hero are the only megadeth albums I don't have. I don't think I ever would get them, I don't know why, I just haven't heard good things about them.

I would suggest not get it. I have the album, and it is horrible. It sounds nothing like Megadeth. Download the album first, if you still are curious, and if you like, then I guess you should buy it. But I doubt you will.

But seriously, I think maiden are way behind megadeth in almost every quarter musically. Far less skill in the guitar and Dave writes music that makes Maiden seem in their 'high school band stage'. I think it'd be far better for megadeth to go on tour with metallica... but with Dave's track record, that isn't gonna happen too soon.

The way it turned out was still probably for the best. I think Hammett was a better choice for Metallica, though I often think about what might of happened had he stayed with Exodus. :ponder:
New guitarists, I believe, often bring bands to new levels. Imagine Megadeth without Friedman, no wonderful Holy Wars, or Hangar 18 solos. However, without Poland there would be no Good Mourning/Black Friday or Peace Sells.

I'm sure that's why they have sold 10 -15 times more records then Megadeth...and a band that is a whole lot more entertaining live as well...but if you;ve seen the Some Kind of Monster DVD Mustaine said he wish they would have sent him into rehab so he could still be in the band
Since when did record sales decipher anything?*cough* cacophony*cough*

Make that double quoted for truth.
Thanks for pointing that out.

Yeah, I mean, Peace sells is all you need to say. But I think overall I prefer friedman as a guitarist and writer.
Imagine Friedman with Polands tone...
*comes in pants* <_<

Haha, and then add mustaine's writing ability.

Mustaines writing ability?! He's above average but not extraordinary.

I'd say he was better than friedman, just a really crappy guitarist.
 You're kidding right?! Mustaine know something like two scales! I mean, don't get me wrong, he's a great rythm and lead guitar player but his stuff is fairly basic.

Well whether he only knew to scales or not, if I were asked too listen to speed metal symphony or Holy wars, itd be 'brother will kill brother' every time.

It's irrelevent. Friedman has better writing skills and it shows in his work. I'm not going to bring up who is a 'better' player but Mustaine is certainly not a 'really crappy guitarist.'

Ok, really crappy guitarist is a large overstatement, but if you look at any solos, friedman's are always more complex and technical than mustaine's, but its mustaine who writes them.
MUSTAINE DOES NOT WRITE FRIEDMANS SOLOS! You sir, are largely misinformed. Last time I checked Marty wrote his own parts.

Dave is a well rounded guitarist he can do almost everything. Friedman can do rhythmn but his soloing ability is way better.while dave can do everything
