I think even in my younger days I was always on the right track with my music taste but I had a lot of bad bands I liked to listen to as well...a lot of your starter nu metal bands, some Limp Bizkit/Linkin Park. I think one of my biggest disappointments was 3rd Strike...for some reason I thought they were soooooooo cool...I can't listen to them anymore with a straight face.

I AIN'T NEVER GONNA DIZ-IEEEE!

There's nothing i really regret listening to, i still listen to most stuff, even if it's crap. i know some is horrible, but i still ike it ;)
The one band I've lost taste for though is Coal Chamber. I just don't like it anymore, and wonder why i did before *shrugs*

I don't regret listening to any music that I used to. If I enjoyed it at the time, that's all that really matters.

Blink 182
Yes, me too. I used to be a fan of pop-punk a while ago. But now..
Like I'll ever listen to that crap again!

The day when I thought Savage Garden was the best band in town was probably one of my worst musical eras.

I truely deeply regret having listened to Slipknot, Metallica, Motley Crue, Manowar(bunch of fags),Mudvayne, WASP, Creed, Nickleback, Taking Back Sunday, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, UnEarth, Nirvana, Otep, From Autom to Ashes, The Bled, and various others. I just woke up one morning and realized they were crap compared to the other stuff in my collection. The saddest part of this is that I used to listen to emo and nu-metal, Yuck!!:upset: But at least I've seen the light and refuse to listen to crap any longer!

Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Shaggy
Since when is it cool to dislike Metallica?
They kinda brought attention to other thrash bands, and allthough they're crap now, it doesn't matter.
That's like saying you dislike a dead person because they're not alive (I've used this acronym all day, and will continue to)

Jon

Never said it was cool to dislike them.

I got bored of thrash about 6 months ago and thinking about it I really don't know why I liked them.

I mean they have a few decent songs but nothing special...

at the drive-in are for ppl who have progressed past bands like linkin park and RHCP. RHCP are like the ultimate mainstream band and ATD-I were against it.
Oh... wait I get it. You have something against mainstream musicians. So I guess Flea is an absolutely crap bassist, even though your average Joe actually likes his lines. I suppose Freddie Mercury is a crap attempt at an opera singer, because he isn't kult enough. Oh and you know what else... Steve Harris is such an amazingly **** bassist because of Iron Maiden's popularity. Oh, don't even get me started on the Beatles.
Be realistic. RHCP has 4 very talented musicians who work very well together. Drop the mainstream hating rubbish. RHCP may be popular; that doesn't automatically make them crap.

im gonna go with Slipknot, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and Blink 182, but then again slipknot actually got me into heavier stuff which eventually led to real metal so i dont regret them that much.

I used to listen to Slipknot's IOWA on repeat and think it was the most awsomely hardcore music ever invented.

Prior to that i thought Korn was the most hardcore music ever.
