My edit button won't work. I try to edit something and it says an invalid thread. If I had an edit button I could change some of my stuff. I can't even delete one of my posts. So when I have a double (or triple) I can't delete one of them.

I don't mean to double post. I don't want to but I can't edit anything. I can't delete. I guess the only thing I can do is get banned. IDK. I've done the best I can in uploading albums, talking to the community but all I get is "ban him!!". Why should I have two accounts. I shouldn't have to live a double life on here. Plus on most websites its illegal to have more than one account. I'm just trying to interact, but evidently I shouldn't be or whatever. I don't know. It's frustrating to post and then not be able to edit. It would be a whole lot better if I could quick post. If you want to ban me, fine. I guess you don't want me to be part of the daily upload. I've uploaded about 10 albums so it's not like I'm not contributing. I guess my albums must suck or you just don't like me.

I think DT sucks.

Do something about all the people in the UnderOath thread flamming them. If someone did it in an Opeth thread or another thread, they would be punished. It shouldn't matter the band.

Uhm, I may be blind, but I don't seen any flames in that thread... at all. A lot aren't agreeing on the thread starter's opinion on how "They're the best band ever" But there's no flaming going on at all.

It's more of debating. It happenes a lot on here.

Umm. No. Read the rules, you'll see no rule against flaming Underoath, who is terrible. ^_^ It doesn't even belong in R&M, a Mod will move it to hardcore/punk or whereever that goes

Well, there was supposed to be a RMOTY, but uh, the person running it either forgot after he fixed his computer, or just didn't remember.

We can always start it up again if need be, but ever since there was supposed to be an RMOTY, it would seem that a new RMOTM would fall in line.

Hey Jason, I'd really like to do a band parody thread. My genre parodies were liked or so quite a few said.

I'd like to do Children Of Bodom. It'd be a featured artist, except a parody. Considering myself being the biggest Bodom fanboy on here, I think I've got plenty of room to make fun of them in fun ways.

It would NOT take shots at any races/cultures/religions, users, mods, admin or break any rules. I think some humor could be good around here.

I dunno, featured artists on just little known or crappy bands that make them seem like they're epic and the best on Earth. Most of it will be tounge-in-cheek or sarcasm. Kind of like Chuck Norris jokes, except kinda funny and not overplayed. Or just big bands who deserve to be poked with light hearted fun once in a while because they are so praised by this board. (I.E Dream Theater, Muse, Metallica, etc.)

Sometimes on Sputnik, when people post comments, or reviews, it doesn't show up. Someone just posted a comment, and it never showed up on recent posts, but it did show up. My last review didn't show up on recent reviews, so no one saw it that much, and there were no comments, or votes. Today, almost two days later, it appeared on the 3rd page, in the place it should've been among other reviews, except on the 1st page, two days ago. Kind of pissed me off...

I was wondering today why we don't really have a drug talk forum. Haha it's kind of weird to think about but I mean, lets face it, the topic comes up a lot in the community forum. The community thread is designated for all off topic discussion including drug talk. There's no reason to create another off topic thread just for drugs.

But if you want to talk about the prevalence of drugs in rock and metal, that could make for an interesting thread.

As for reasons not to do it: you might get banned.

A LOT of classic rock and Psychedelic rock wouldn't be there if it wasn''t for drugs (esp. LSD), so search a little more, most of the music you know has been atleast somehow influenced by other musicians using drugs.

I don't think it helped to be honest, we still had people ask for recommendations. But it's not like it annoyed me, not to sure about the other reg's of that thread.

Everyone has to have a favorite song, so I'm wondering if we can have one thread that everyone can post their one favorite song. Though it will basically be a list thread, I'm just thinking we've never had this before. Just might be something cool to do.

Look, I don't care for the Black Metal genre as much as the next shmuck, but getting on its fan's asses by asking if they think anybody takes them seriously isn't needed. I've never had a problem with any of them, really, because they haven't tried to cause problems for the forum, so I don't want any dissention going on that isn't needed. R&M doesn't need another bitchfit, or Dargon returning to pretend to troll, or whatever.

In a nutshell, I pissed off mx.

At the time I felt that he didn't give a **** about the forums (because of the hackings and overall apathetic vibe at the time) and was becoming obsessed with expanding his Sputnikmusic empire.

So I swore like an idiot and said he should just shut down the forums if he's just going to let the hackers and other crappy stuff that went on continue without doing anything about it. I wrote a lot of questionable adjectives.

It wasn't pleasant or the smartest thing to do, but I was able to get Wintermute added as a co-admin, seeing as how DBJ doesn't do jack around here anymore. And then some other stuff.

I might be back if they need me, but for now, 'sources' tell me that there are still hurt feelings so I'm basically serving my probation and promising not to swear so much when I think he's not paying attention to the forums.

It's not like I need to anymore, though, because he's starting to take care of the forums for a bit since then.

There's something wrong with my browser, I'm using Firefox with the No Script thing and now when I look at MX there is no avators, and this is what the main page looks like, nothing taking me to the last post or anything. http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/7897/picture2jr1.png And this is the only website it does that for (excluding the review section of the site, it does it their too). Any suggestions.

Well. I don't use any anti goon plug ins, but do you have images off, perhaps in USERCP?

Nah, you don't need to stay out, but you need to know when and when not to reports problem threads. Besides the fact that the thread's strange or weird, doesn't render it a problem. Things get too strict when we report a thread just because it's weird or out of the norm.
