3. Avskum
4. Ballast
5. Code 13
6. Tragedy
7. Witch Hunt
8. Skitsystem

Oh, P.S: I was never too huge into the sludge kinda stuff, but now I'm really diggin' it. Problem is, all I have that's sludge is like Dystopia, Tragedy, and His Hero is Gone. Kylesa's kinda borderline sludge. Any reccomendations would be appreciated.

Out of sheer frustration over the lack of drummers in the local Massachusetts area, Scott Hull and friends formed AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED (ANb) with the help of a drum machine in 1994. Many artists, such as GODFLESH and MINISTRY had utilized drum machines effectively in the slower-paced industrial realm, but relatively few bands have ever attempted the 100,000 bpm "hailstorm of drums" approach to programming that head honcho Scott Hull not only attempted, but achieved!
They havn't used it per se in a song but in special recordings and live performances.

Subvert_bassist
01-03-2006, 08:58 PM
I have a much larger knowledge of crust and I'm in a more crusty band, but I prefer grind. That's why I'm throwing growls into and attempting to speed up our music. It's turing into a mix of grind, thrash, sludge, and hardcore that's incredibly unique, I think.
I also think sludge beats both grind and crust, hands down.

Hey, I want your guys' opinions. What do you think of the name Doves Lie Dead? It's for my band, a very very political crust/thrash/sludge band. It meaning is, the scene where we play is always at war with itself, and there's never peace. Dove symbolizes peace in this case.

Subvert's new name. We've been around awhile here, and that name has been and still is asociated of the old-*** street punk that used to be Subvert Citizens. Since we haven't recorded and released anything in awhile, and last time we did was street punk, we decided to go with a better name and release some crust/thrash/sludge stuff under the new name.

If you for some reason came to New York, and found yourself a show among Upstate New York's metalcore scene I would definintely go.

No grind or crust shows in Indy pretty much ever. The closest we have is Wasteland DC, a crappy punk band and quite a few horror punk bands, which all suck.

All horror punk sucks though, IMO.

Yeah man, Holy Molar is a great band. Kind of like a less spazzy Locust, I actually prefer them to the Locust a little bit.

TNTLLY puts on a great show. Its pretty energetic, and they play a good set. When I saw them in july they only played one song off N.S.N, and it was the best one (Devils Dick Disaster).
You guys should check out Akela, good stuff.
