Indeed I am, Phobia = awesome, and my friend Derrik would kill me if I didn't take him anyway.

They're playing with 7 Generations, Another estructive System, Socialize Cruxifixtion, Anoutonomy, Sabu, Armstice, and they're having speakers.

I havn't been to a really good anarcho thing scince Contravene/Resist and Exist, at which a friend of mine asked this guy with a 2 liter for a sip and he responed "You can't own soda, man. Have some f'uckin soda!"

Also, did you see when Phobia were on Real TV? They got attacked at a show in Japan and the bass player nails some guy right in the face with his bass.

Yeah. Their guitar does sound good. If you listen closely, you can hear the bass, and it sometimes sounds more distorted than the guitar. Some of their songs are catchy as hell too. 'No Hope' was stuck in my head all day today.

That amused me. I mean, it summed up most every d-beat band: band name startes with "dis", a song consists of three lines done in a gruff voice, and the snare and bass drum sound the same (I know he just drumming on the table with his hands, thats the point).

Insect Warfare - Amazing grind out of Houston. New 7" out with ****ing killer artwork, on 625 Thrashcore

50/50 - brutal skategrind band, has ex members of Machine Gun Romantics and Orca

Machine Gun Romantics - killer thrashy PV, is now broken up but it's members have spawned some of the best current PV and GC bands in the Gulf Coast area (RIP)

It's ****ing TEXAS! It's massive, so we tend to have alot of bands. But actually majority of those bands are out Houston which is currently the GCPV capitol of TX right now. With Austin still holding the spot for crust/anarcho and d-beat. Houston is still one of the biggest in TX for hc and Laredo is getting much bigger.

I LOVE TEXAS!

I don't got links but I can list some bands if ye wanna look 'em up, although most are crust, anarcho is still scarce:
Signal Lost - melodic, similar to AFI but very political
Severed Head of State - They're a bit crusty but it's more a collaboration band as Todd is from PDX, and their bassist is form Europe er some ****.
Century of War - more crusty hc punk, but ye still might like 'em.
World Burns to Death - see previous

I put crust before anarcho as it's mostly crust with alot of anarcho influence

No, drummers who have been doing it for awhile can do it. My band is more crust, but we have one or two grind/PV songs, and he hits those speeds. But that's why songs like that are short: you can't do that for a long time.
