So, I just saw Paul Baribeau, Captain Chaos, and Craig Salt Peters (new Plan-It-X artist) in my friend's living room. It was sick. Chris Clavin remembered me, and we had a long talk about various strategies on how to make flashes look better when taking band pictures and how he lives in Washington now.

For Disclose unless you like horrible horrible quality on purpose on every record don't bother. Anti-Cimex started the scene off in Scandinavia. They have a really heavy Scandinavian sound obviously. get the Raped *** EP. A lot of people really like Disfear who are another Scandinavian band. I don't really like them though. Mostly the vocals that I can't get into, it's the guy from at the gates and Skitsystem who I both don't really like.

Any of you people like Fear of God? I don't know what you gice are into but this band makes Napalm Death sound like The Wiggles. They were around in the mid to late 1980s making some pretty intense music and helping to start what would later be known as grind. Their vocalist actually runs an mp3 blog for out of print hardcore at http://goodbadmusic.blogspot.com/ which is a pretty good site. If you go back a few pages he posts a few of his bands mp3s, I think you should check it out at least if you're into grind, even if you don't like it.

Obviously I agree with Discharge but Dischange and DisSystema are pretty bad. Finding good d-beat is hard.
I think Kegcharge are sick. The quality is so good on the record and they add a bit of flavor to the mix. All the war sound bites are awesome too.
I love Totalitar too. Their early EP's are pretty samey d-beat but still good. Their record Ni Måste Bort! is awesome though. For a d-beat record I find it very exciting. That's 1997 too, not many bands are releasing quality music 10 years later.
Wolfpack/Brigade are awesome. I like the albums released as Wolfpack much better though. I've never been able to get into Skitsystem much. I just don't like the vocals. Probably why I don't like Disfear or At The Gates much either. Inepsy are okay but I haven't listened to them that much.
