Lawro is such a wanker.
Why does he predict Spurs to lose every week.
Because he likes being right more than he likes being wrong?

I think we could well get a draw against Chelsea.
It's not just this week, he picks us to lose every game. Unless we're playing Boro at home, in which case Spurs "just might scrape it".
Pastorius

Ha ha, I actually rate Spurs's squad, and they seem to be coming together a lot better as a team recently. Modric in particular has been living up to his original hype.

The worst part about Lawro's prediction atleast this week is he opens up his statement by raving about Spurs' current form etc, and how much they've improved and are playing well, then says 2-0 loss at home to Chelsea.

incredible game. rooney sent off for throwing the ball to where the free kick was to be taken. referee was the star, dishing it out all over the place. scholes handball looked instinctive, like he was expecting zamora to clatter him or something. sent off and a penalty, set the theme for the day. that ex scouse scum murphy scored the peno which just added insult to injury. international break coming at the right time

the way hes playing it might be helpful if he was on the pitch but it looks like they have planned for him to miss it. he knows bulgaria have a very slim chance, he needs a break, as do the whole lot of them to assess what is happening. we need rafael or neville fit, john o'shea makes the whole defence shaky for me

there nothing to worry about presently. we have been through this so many times. the fulham result was disappointing. we have beaten them two out three this season. i'd prefer to win the fa cup tie than this one. we've enough of an advantage to carry us through the situation. hodgson is a very astute manager and scholes didn't help.

Dave de Sylvia
03-21-2009, 08:53 PM
Tackling has never been Scholes' strong-point. Then again, he started life as a forward and has been creeping back ever since, probably as a result of his lack of pace, which in turn is the reason he gives away a lot of free kicks on the break.

England and Chelsea captain John Terry's mother and mother-in-law have been arrested by police for shoplifting, after being accused of stealing food and clothing worth £800 from Tesco and Marks and Spencer.
Sue Terry, 50, and Sue Poole, 54, were allegedly caught loading the goods into a car at the Brooklands shopping centre in Weybridge and were taken to Staines police station where they accepted a police caution - meaning they formally acknowledged their guilt but that no further action was taken against them.
The incident is hugely embarrassing for the footballer, who earns £135,000 a week and has bought detached homes for both his mother and mother-in-law in the same street in which he also lives in Oxshott, Surrey, with wife Toni and their two-year-old twins.
A Surrey police spokesman said: "Officers arrested two women aged 50 and 54, both from Oxshott, on suspicion of theft. This followed reports of shoplifting. The women were interviewed in custody and have been cautioned for the offences.
"Cautions are usually applied for more minor matters, when it is a first-time offence. A caution represents an admission of guilt and forms part of a criminal record."

Yeah I'd imagine that's the case. I've been to Russia, didn't feel unsafe once. Walking around Moscow at midnight, didn't get hassled or even looked at twice. Sure, it's more dangerous than Australia or the UK, but it doesn't appear to be that dangerous on face value. Street crime would probably be on the same level as the USA. I felt pretty safe in both of those countries. It's more the underground problems that plague Russian society.. I doubt tourists would see much/any of this.

It's practically impossible that we won't qualify from here: Bahrain would have to beat Australia away and Uzbekistan at home; Australia would have to lose to Bahrain and Japan at home and Qatar away; and even if all of this happens, we would still qualify on goal difference unless Bahrain can improve theirs by 10 goals over two matches - one of which is against us, and we haven't conceded once in this stage.

Time wasting with throw ins (which the ref indicated he was keeping an eye on to the villa player taking it) 1 min I guess.
Doesn't matter, scored in 93rd minute. Brilliant debut from Macheda, looked as if the occasion didn't bother him in the slighest, tried to get stuck in to defenders, wanted the ball, and had the audacity to try what he did to secure us the points.
