Homestar Runner has quickly become one of the funniest internet cartoons around today. It features many things, like Strongbad Email, toons and games, and often has easter eggs for the viewer to find. This is their first (and I expect, their only) CD, featuring the voices of the well-known stars from the website.

Trogdor - 9/10
From the start of this song, where Strongbad screams "TROGDOR!", to the end, this is an instant favourite. With it's insanely addictive riffs and funny lyrics, this will make any fan laugh. It's sadly only 1:40, but all of that is funny everytime you hear it!

The System Is Down - 8/10
This song is just Strongbad doing a human-beatbox, but never the less, it's still hilarious. The background high-voice is what completes it for me, and makes me chuckle everytime it's on.

Strong Badia National Anthem - 6/10
The first "live" track on the album, and it's kind of a let down. The only thing that's really funny about it is Strongbad shouting at everyone at the start, but the song isn't really that good.

Oh Yeah Yeah - 8/10
Marzipan states this is a folk song. I don't know what kind of folk she's used to, but this is 1 minute of punk riffs and her shouting "Yeah yeah yeah" over and over. Has it's values the first few times, but then loses it once you get used to the song.

Because It's Midnite - 8/10
Sung by the fantasy band Limozeen, this is a great funny song for the oldies fans. Pretty cool music and nice vocals as well. They sound a lot like Iron Maiden, but with retarded lyrics.

Circles - 7/10
Strongbad clearly sings it, but it says different on the sleeve. The lyrics are quite funny, but the music doesn't really make it as hilarious as it should be. With just acoustic, the occasioanl badly-played banjo and harmonica, it really let's the lyrics down.

Let's Get Started on Doing All Those Awesome Things I Suggested - 6/10
Nice slow beats, very melodic. It starts out with Strongbad insulting a girl again, and then goes to start the song. Well, before it cuts out. Not the best song, but not exactly bad to listen to either

Moving Very Slowly - 8/10
Great parody of Metallica here (Taranchula?), with typical riffs in there and talking about shadows and souls. It also includes a pretty insance solo, which is always nice. If you want to get away from the humour of this album, stick this track on.

Sweet Cuppin' Cakes Theme Song - 8/10
This is the theme tune for a craze cartoon, so it's going to be weird. The pure music of this song is enough to make anyone laugh, but the vocals finish it off as well.

I Think I Have A Chance With This Guy - 9/10
This is classic in my eyes. Strongbad impersonating a woman, talking on the phone about something random and repeating the title over and over. It makes me laugh everytime I hear it!

It's Like It Was Meant To Be - 6/10
Cutting from piano to guitars throughout, the lyrics are pretty poor and not as funny as some of the previous songs, but the music kinda makes up for it. It isn't exactly perfect though, so no real high score.

Nite Mamas - 9/10
This is amazing this song. Another Limozeen song, and it's more punkier this time. The riff is pretty good for a joke song, and the vocals are done really good as well.

Sensitive To Bees - 10/10
My favourite on the album, it features Marzipan singing a song, with Strongbad interupting all the time and saying random things. This is hilarious everytime I hear it again, the lyrics are the funniest on the album in my opinion. Homestar Runner's guest appearance in this song is funny too.

You've Got an Ugly and Stupid Butt - 7/10
Another classic song, purely made up of Strongbad singing "You've got an ugly butt and it's stupid!". Then it gets all tropical with steel drums and then it finishes. The end!

These Peoples Try To Fade Me - 9/10
This is genius. The lyrics are pretty funny (I got money, but not much/I could use a dollar, I could use a couple bucks) and Coach Z's rapping is classic in this. This is definately one of the best for H*R fans.

The Ladies In My Town All Know My Name - 5/10
Another surprisingly bad song, with great potential. It's just Strongbad being the arrogant arse he always is, but it's too short and there's no real humour in this song.

The Theme From Dangeresque II: This Time It's Not Dangeresque I - 8/10
The theme tune from the episode on the website, this features some classic lines (Stick it to the man/Cool glasses!) and great music. It does a little bit of value through out, though.

Somebody Told Me (Now I Believe Them) - 7/10
Again, Strongbad singing about how people are stupid. It's quite funny though, with the country theme. It would've been funnier if it was longer, but the end "You're not cool" tops it off

The Cheat Is Not Dead - 9/10
Another great song. Featuring just synth effects and clapping, Strongbad sings one of the funniest songs on the album. With great one-liners, funny lyrics and, let's face it, retarded vocals, this is one of the Strongbad favourites.

Everybody To The Limit (Live) - 10/10
The classic Homestar Runner song, this is the "live" version. This song features some of the funniest lyrics on the album (I'm not gonna play those games/Mind games/Board games) and great vocals, which top off the song and practically the album.

Secret Song - 9/10
Found at the end of Everybody To The Limit, Homestar Runner sings his little tribute to secret songs. His voice in a song makes it funny anyway, but the lyrics are again funny, as it's all about secret songs. Also Homestar messes up a lot, which adds to the value

Overall, this album will provide some laughs every now and then. It isn't anything like Weird Al, but it certainly has it's own attributes.

Overall rating: 3/5

Favourite songs:
- Trogdor
- Sensitive To Bees
- Everybody To The Limit (Live)
- Secret Song

I have to get this CD. I love Trogdor and the other emails. But my favorite thing has to be Teen Girl Squad. Anyone else like it? By the way, awesome review.
