The ones he listed are tr00 metalcore, like a heavy metal influence and a heavy hardcore influence. Bands like Atreyu are really 90% metal, 10% hardcore. Anyway, other bands that are true are early PTW, Nora, DBS, etc. I still use metalcore to describe Atreyu, A7X and AILD, but technically, they're metal bands with a small hardcore influence.

True, BYD are a lot heavier than Terror in both vocals and instrumentaly, but like I said Vogel screams harder than the guy in 100 Demons. 100 Demons may have a more metallic tone, but Terror make up for the tone with more intense vocals. Terror have just as much reason to be the defining band in metalcore as 100 Demons do.

Among the band scheduled to play this August are 70s punk legends the Dead Boys, and performances by Gorilla Biscuits, and Circle Jerks as well as newer acts like Against Me and Thursday. The situation arose due to a dispute with Bowery Residents Committee which holds a 45-year lease on the building. CBGB's is their lone commercial tenant; their rent feud dates back five years, when the committee went to court to collect more than $300,000 in back rent from the club. The Bowery Residents Committee which is 75% funded by the city of New York has listed the property on the Real Estate MLS for anyone else who wishes to rent 313 and 315 Bowery.

No way. Have you heard the whole Illegal Exhibitions of Speed album? If so, I don't see how you can call it metalcore AT ALL. I wouldn't call DBD metalcore either.

I'm more with Oopy on this one, i'd call some of the bands he first mentioned metalcore, but if a band has a slight metal influence I don't call them metalcore off the bat. A ton of bands around now are metallic hardcore, doesn't make them metalcore.

Yeah their last album studio album 'Slither' was nu-metal. It's not bad for a nu-metal album, but then again it is nu-metal. The only song I like off the album is 'Nemisis'.
Especially in the summer. I told my mom I could take them during the school year for free and she still made me go.
I know a few kids who started in summer, but it isn't neccesary. You probably won't take them untill like May '06. I started like 2 months before I took them.

NYC is REALLY crowded, it's probably too hard to find a good parking spot with a meter.

That sucks. For some reason I don't have a problem parking my car on the street in downtown LA or Hollywood...but that could be because the car is going to be safer in their than the public parking that costs 10 bucks where it's a chain link fence around a parking lot and a mexican security guy sleeping half the time.

The movie doesn't really follow the book. The book takes place in England not NY, its around the year 1890-1905 not 2005, the main character befriends an artillery men not kids, ect.
