Jeez. Nothing like that happens here. Hell, lately all these bands who think they are local bands the second they have their first practice have been having shows where they invite all their Von Dutch girls to the shows. Of course this leads to no moshing. Because it would be a crime to hot one of those girls and have here hair get ruffled.
There's one venue I go to in the heart of Trenton. Kids think its cool to walk around the neighborhood and smoke weed and they usually get mugged and get the **** beat out of them with a bat by some black folk. There have been drive-bys there too.

but Bleeding Through is gay so it balances out.
I seen Folly last night in this place called Victorville which is basically in the middle of the desert. What a terrible, sheltered scene. Every single kid there (which was maybe 40) was fashioncore, except for these 3 guys that thought they were a mosh crew. Ironically enough, they danced like morons and even push pitted. Windmilled during two step parts, didn't two step, etc. Then during Folly me and my friends went in there and sk00led them. Folly's singer was wearing a zip-up of The Banner.

how have you only heard one AN song?
If you like the Trouble download AN's cover of "Dead and Gone" and if you like Cro-Mags (which you should, or you should be shot) then get the AN cover of "It's the Limit".

Was AN the exact same members as GUTG?Basically, there were member changes. But the name change came from a lawsuit. So it's not like AN called it quits and then some more guys teamed up with Wes and made GUTG.
Was AN the exact same members as GUTG?
Yeah, same band. They just had to change their name because there was another band called American Nightmare.

Dude. Hand of Hope Records sucks.
Gods are a terrible, terrible rock band. Zao's old drummer Jesse sings. He shouldn't. Society's Finest's old stuff was pretty good, but that new song on hxcmp3 is so generic it hurts. The local bands will probably be better.

Converge:
"Last Light" (song with clean, yelly vocals)
"You Fail Me" (best song on the album. slow, gritty and dirty, and just sinister)
"In Her Shadow" (the acoustic one with the 'creepy chanting' we were talking about')
Zao:
"Breath of the Black Muse" (Good song ruined by clean vocals)
"The Last Song from Zion" (POD song)
"The Last Revelation (The Last Prophecy)" (GOOD SONG)

Daughters - Not screamo. Just crappy.

Fear Before - Not entirely screamo, they mix it up, and that is why I love them.
Blood Brothers - Also mix it up
Saetia - Also also mix it up. I'm seeing them next month. Ohhh yeah.

Grindcore in its purest form consisted of short, apocalyptic blasts of noise played on standard heavy metal instrumentation (distorted guitar, bass, drums). Although grindcore wasn't just randomly improvised, it certainly didn't follow conventional structure, either; while riffs could sometimes be picked out, pure grindcore never featured verses, choruses, or even melodies. Grindcore vocals sounded torturous, ranging from high-pitched shrieks to low, throat-shredding growls and barks; although the lyrics were usually quite verbose, they were very rarely intelligible. Some bands in this catagory can also be known as Mathcore. Meaning they're more complex in the musical writings.
Grindcore bands:
Napalm Death, Dillinger Escape Plan, Death, Carcass, The Locust, The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza, **** and Ball Torture, Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed...
Not grind. Great job writing this but you contradicted yourself. You said that grindcore didnt follow conventional structure, yet dillinger escape plan is one of the most technical bands ive ever heard. Never heard mathcore being known as grind... D E P doesnt have any blast beats, they dont have 30 second songs, its not all distorted. There is no growls or high pitched shrieks, and D E P does have intelligble lyrics, therefore there is no reason for D E P to be called grind. :)

Good list although a couple things need to be mentioned.
Daughters - Not screamo. Just crappy.
The Locust - Not screamo. but good.
Fear Before - Not entirely screamo, they mix it up, and that is why I love them.
Blood Brothers - Also mix it up
Saetia - Also also mix it up. I'm seeing them next month. Ohhh yeah.
i dont know they sound screamo to me, they sound like other screamo bands, what are they then?
The locust is definitely somewhat screamo, they are grind, but they do have the chaotic feel of screamo.

Chaos, yes. The emotion which is the main characteristic of screamo, no.

Eh, it's kind of hard to say. Technical is sometimes associated with grind because the instruments work together very technically I believe?

Pop-punk. And you're not supposed to talk about them here. Go to the pop-punk forum.

Its wierd, its kind of oxymoronic, they have technicallity, but they are simple... Hard to explain.

Awesome, too bad the word hardcore or screamo dont mean anything to people in Hawaii. Except for like 5 people.
