I guess before the show, someone from ALOL said "**** Jacksonville" to one of the guys from Bury Your Dead, who was from Jacksonville and passed it on to a couple of said tough guys. So said guys decided to keep people from moshing during ALOL's set. ALOL got pissed, said more **** about Jacksonville and hardcore, and the guys jumped on stage and started punching them.

I know there's been a lot of discussion about modding new people and for the most part I think having so many supers can make that unnecessary. However I would like to recommend that we create another local mod in the Punk forum. As it stands Sk8SkaNJ is the only full time mod, both Kithkin and I go there when we can but for it to run as well as we would like then it really should have another person looking over that forum exclusively. I would recommend Brain Squirmin' Like A Toad, he is always online and he has been a huge help to both myself and Sk8. Sk8 might also have some thoughts, but basically, Punk is the 2nd largest music forum on MX, and thus should be modded accordingly.
He has a point. BSLAT is fine with me.
I have supported the call for a new mod more or less since I even got modded as I believe a forum of this size should have several full time mods. And yes BSLAT would be my choice for a mod. He more or less moderates through me.

Seriously. If we need a new mod and everyone agrees that he should be mod, just mod him. It takes a total of 2 seconds to mod someone and it benefits the forum.

I only buy clearance CDs, prick. And I've gotten good stuff. A18, Modern Life is War, didn't buy but they had Playing Enemy, Where Eagles Dare all for like $3-$5. Plus they sell off all their previously played CDs for $1, so I've gotten Since the Flood, Bloody Sunday, Neurosis, Stretch Arm Strong, Still Breathing, Fairweather, On the Might of Princes, and at least 15 other CDs. I don't touch anything else in the store.

I do the same thing, except usually with vinyl and shirts. I've gotten some of my favorite shirts for around $8 there, and some ridiculously cool vinyl for ultra-cheap (180-g re-release of Ace of Spades on virgin vinyl for $7 :amaze: ).
