If anyone likes PsyOpus and has only heard those friggin' purevolume songs, you need to download "Mirrorim" off SoulSeek or whatever you use immediately. Words do not give the breakdown justice. It's the only breakdown I've heard them do and it is just so unbelievably awesome.

EDIT: That WH owns.

Preacher Gone To Texas, anyone? They sound interesting. After a little bit, it sounds like pretty good hardcore, then all of a sudden it gets all CTTS-ey.

Choice Vs. Change is a solid melodic hardcore album.

Not great really, but good.

Any one like In Due Time? "Back To Basics" is just like one giant breakdown. Sweet.

My band has decided to go with a heavier old school sound. We just need to start practicing when we have practice. And we need to find a singer, the kid we we're gonna get moving from Texas is moving an hour away and we usually practice on weeknights for now because my friend has work all weekend so we probably need someone else.

GO BACK TO WHAT IT MEANT BACK THEN? OPEN MINDS AND OPEN HEARTS, THE THINGS THAT SET US APART" and he'd jump back and get all pissed off. I went to a local show last night and this one band Cat War were so ****ing good. There like post-hardcore/indie and for there set, they strung everything with christmas lights and threw branches all over the place. The bass had some synth pedal to make his bass sound almost like animal calls or some ****, the guitar had a shitload of effects too. They had two singers who went nuts, falling on the ground and **** (it seemed like they actually ment it). And then for the last song of there set, there were about 10 people up front. 4 people just beating this african rhythm on this pair of broken drums, one singer was just chanting something, the other singer had a tambourine, the bassist and guitarist took off there instruments and just laid there chanting and there were some other people up there clapping and doing weird ****. Anyway, it was probably one of the weirdest and best sets I've seen. There music is just like this huge blend of echoing effects and weird vocals, it's hard to explain.

Yeah, they're getting pretty big nowadays.

Yeah, I saw them along with Candiria in an issue of Guitar World. It was lame.

I don't like Embrace that much. I'm actually not too much of a fan of early emo (the strictly "emotional hardcore" that sounds more or less like hardcore). I like Rites Of Spring and Husker Du, but I don't go for Embrace and Heroin.

Hahaha, Dillinger Escape Plan were in some major music magazine over here.
How stupid is that?
Considering i've seen them on MTV2 about 5 times, it's not that stupid.

9 tracks.

I'm on "The Trouble I Love" right now, it's good but I was expecting something a little more intense. It doesn't seem as if they put as much into this as Turn It Around.
