Hello, as you may have noticed i will now be moderating this forum, and i have noticed that there are a lot of people that just don't quite grasp the meaning of "Equipment Reviews" This forum is not for people to start new threads asking for reviews or equipment recommendations. This is a place for people to review gear that they own or know a lot about. Please remember this, as i do not want to come in here everyday and find that people don't use common sence, or just plain don't know what equipment reviewing is.
- Do not start threads asking questions. They will be deleted. Any review you wish to request should go in the "Request a Review" thread.
- Entitle your threads in the form "Manufacturer - Product". For instance "Fender - MIA Precision Standard"
- Full, detailed reviews only. "This sucks!" style threads will be deleted.
- Give ratings from 1-5 for the product as a whole, and for individual aspects if you see fit.
- Include how much the item cost, and a list price if you got it second hand.
- Include some measure of your bass playing experience. Not to sound discriminatory, but basically I have to be. Someone who's been building amps for years is better placed to give an unbiased review than someone who's been playing for 2 weeks and has only played on one amp, for instance.
- Photos are not compulsory, but are appreciated. Whether they are your own photos or from a website.
- If the product you wish to be review has already been reviewed, post your review in the existing thread. You are allowed to bump up old threads in this circumstance.
- If you have posted a review, post a link in the Review Index thread so that we can update the Index. If you don't do this, we may not spot your review, and it will go un-Indexed.
Thank you for your co-operation.
