Wrestling is great as long as you don't take it as meant to be real, the real fun is in knowing that it's entertainment because then it's just a great bit of fun.
I really dont understand those who mock people that watch wrestling. Nobody watches it because they believe that its real, its just entertainment.
What did happen to Bischoff?

Even if 'Taker does leave this summer, he'll definately be back again. Theres no way he could stay away from it, hes one of the biggest stars ever. Plus WWE still make loads of merchandise money from him so they're gonna keep him contracted for many years. When he retires, it would be nice to see him take up an "Austin Sheriff" type role so he can come out whenever he wants.

Predictions for matches anyone?
I think that during the Austin/Piper situation 1 of 2 things will happen. 1. Piper will say something to insult Austin, and he gets a stunner. 2. Hassan interupts the Pit and they both layeth the smacketh down on his and navari's behinds.
Cena looks pretty much destined to beat JBL, he's had the belt for too long now and Cena is getting a big push.
WWE may have to let Batista win to keep the fans happy, even though they dont so much mind HHH winning. Hes the type you love to hate.
I cant wait for the ladder match

Its a shame the Hardy Boyz arent around for it, Jeff (at TNA) and Matt had ownage in alot of those matches.
Most of the matches are huge this year, i think the company have made some good decisions. Unlike some where they get the crappy Indy-type wrestlers and dont make an impact.

Some of those wrestlers that verse Kurt Angle are really good but the WWE makes them look bad, they are probally better than some of the WWE wrestlers.

They probably could keep one of those wrestlers in, by making Angle nearly lose (theres no way hes going to give those medals away). They could keep him as someone that annoys Angle because of what he can do, and gradually let him into another storyline.

Does anyone here like CZW, my brother is like obsessed with CZW and he makes me watch all of his DVD's of CZW. They are really good wrestlers, they can do some awesome moves. The ultraviolent part is a bit disgusting. One guy burst a blood vessel in his arm and all blood was coming out and he was drinking it and you can always see they skin coming off and they bleed alot to. It's pretty cool when they have fans bring the weapons.

I watch it often, they do some insane moves sometimes. Nearly everytime i've seen it, someone has ended up with a broken bone. The hardcore matches are fantastic, how they put themselves through that frequently i dont know.
In one match in 3PW, someone climbed onto the lighting rig above the ring, and jumped down into the ring. Amazing.

They are pretty insane, have you seen the match between Sick Nick Mondo and Zandig when they are on the roof and it is really high and Zandig does a move on Sick Nick Mondo and they both go through a ton of light tubes from really high up. Alot of Sick Nick Mondo's flesh was hanging out. He was in so much pain, it hurt just as much as a bullet wound. Who's your fav wrestler on CZW.

I've not seent that match myself, my friend from college i think saw that one though. it sounds insane.
My favourite would probably be The Sandman, im not sure if he was on CZW, he was on one of those types of shows though.

i like el generico he's pretty awesome and Chris Cash is pretty good. sick nick mondo was awesome until he had to retire. i like Sabu but i dont know if he was ever in CZW, I think he might have been once.

Ive watched wrestling since i was a young kid, but recently ive become totally hooked on it. I even went as far as buying stuff from WWEEuroShop. (APA t-shirt, HHH and Huricane key rings, and Word Life wristbands!)

They are not allowed to do there ultraviolent matches anymore because it's like against the law where they do it. but i think they still find a way to do it but they just dont do it in front of the crowd. I have only seen CZW on DVD's because they dont show it in australia. do they show it where you people live.

I live in England, and theres a wrestling channel. They show CZW type shows, TNA, Mexican, Japanese, and some old school stuff where it was really stupid. The wrestlers shake hands if one does a good move, then the audience give a round of applause for it.
I think how they're going to set up Hogan/Hassan is that Hassan is going to get on the mic and bitch about how he's American by birth and how he gets discriminated against, yada yada yada.
Bischoff is going to come out and say that he has an opponent at Wrestlemania, but not say who it is.
Hassan will get all pissed and demand who it is, and Bischoff will say something like, "A Real American" and Hogan's theme music will hit.
If Hogan wins, that would make Wrestlemania; however, Hassan wrestled Sgt. Slaugther and he tapped out, and I hope that doesn't happen to Hogan.

Matt Hardy has been pulled from the upcoming house shows, so I think that means he'll be going to Smackdown.
Lita and Edge are sticking to this whole "we're in love" story.

Yeah, I heard Matt Hardy is going to Smackdown.
Lita & Edge are staying on Raw. They have both been getting heat from the crowds. They had some "You screwed Lita" chants at some shows and like "Edge betrayed V1" signs. It's normal because Edge was already a heel, but Lita was a face before this happened so now directions have to be rethought and all that.
Lita came back on Monday because Christy is challenging Trish for the Women's title.
Trish scoffed at Christy and she said that she "Has been taught by someone you know very, very well" and Lita came out.
Sadly, I don't think Christy is going to win.

Yeah, it's kinda sad that Lita is the only woman in the WWE with any real in-ring ability. The others just seem to use the WWE as a stepping stone to Playboy.

Oh yeah I forgot Victoria, that Widows Peak movie is actually pretty cool, looks nasty too. Trish and Molly can do a few things I guess, but Lita stands out as actually having wrestled in Mexico and all that.

Some of them do have talent, but they show alot of flaws during the match, not covering up their moves when they dont actually make contact.
one of the best mess up's in a match was the Benoit/Hassan match where H didnt turn over so the belt hit B.

I think they took away a little of the magic of the shows when they gave ref's earpiece's that were very visible. I knew that the ref had something to do with it all but that was just stupid.
If you watch refs when they get "hit". they try to fall facing the Titantron so they know exactly when to start waking up.

EDIT: oh yeah, about that match, wasn't it the ring bell? Hassan really blew it there. It was bad because the camera was focused right there, and it didn't help that JR said, "I don't think he even hit the ring bell, did he?"

They probably get annoucements and stuff, yeah. It would probably help to keep them informed about developments and what is next on the show and stuff. I'm not sure, though.

I've just seen the part on Raw where RO RKO'd Bischoff, and he was already getting booed from the crowd so why shouldnt they make him a heel.
Hooters is the only restaurant I know of that shows the WWE PPVs for free.
I hate that 24 is on at 9, too. I miss whatever happens during the first hour, and whenever 24 has a commercial, RAW does too :(
RAW was decent last night, but I missed the first hour due to watching 24.

I started to watch wrestling again, im glad its starting to get good again. When i left it was turning into a soap opera (when it was the whole HHH vs. Kurt Angle thing for Stephanie McMahon). I hope its like old times when i used to watch it, Austin Vs. McMahon, D Generation X Undertaker, Kane (when he had a mask and couldnt talk).
I wish they would bring back ECW, even though i know they wont because its owned by WWE, I loved it. THere was not real storyline it was just who could put the most people through tables.

Whoa, you've not seen it in years! ECW is making a comeback but just for one night.
Yes, there is an ECW PPV for one night. Unfortunately, RVD blew out his knee so he won't be able to perform, which I'm sure he regrets.

If you had to move four guys from RAW to SD! (or vice versa), who would you move? This is assuming that a re-draft is going to take place.
My picks:
The Hurricane and Rosey for Luther Reigns and Orlando Jordan
(Luther is just a low-card jobber who always loses, he could use a new place to go and hopefully get some wrestling in, while Orlando needs to replace Booker as the black guy on RAW. The Hurricane is a cruiserweight and since they are getting a big push, he needs to come here and be a face, and Rosey [I guess] has to come along with him)
Matt Hardy for Rene Dupree (Have Dupree go back to being with La Resistance but stilll be a singles competitor, and Hardy needs to come with the cruiserweights getting a big push and what with the Edge/Lita real-life controversy)
Randy Orton (as a heel) for JBL
(I only say this because I loathe that Cabinet business)

WWE definately have something up their sleeve, we've all talked about Hassan vs Hogan at WM, and still he hasnt got a match (as far as i know). Theres got to be something happening that will make it huge.
I would be gutted if this year was anybodys last at WM i.e Angle, Taker, HBK. They've all made such an impact.

When they retire, they need to go out respectfully and on top. Because Taker is likely to lose at WM21, he needs to redeem himself at a PPV, then bow out in some type of match and never come back to wrestle. He should stay on board for advising and wrestler training, though.

I'm afraid not. The main reason Randy Orton is possibly being moved to Smackdown! is because the show is terrible, and it's going to get worse.
The loss of Brock Lesnar hurt the show. Now, it looks as if Kurt Angle and the Undertaker may be leaving this year. They will ened replaced, and Randy is a natural heel.
They also need to stick Chris Jericho and Christian on Smackdown! and stick them into the main event scene.
And then they need to re-hire Brock Lesnar.

The loss of Brock Lesnar hurt the show. Now, it looks as if Kurt Angle and the Undertaker may be leaving this year. They will ened replaced, and Randy is a natural heel.
They also need to stick Chris Jericho and Christian on Smackdown! and stick them into the main event scene.
And then they need to re-hire Brock Lesnar.

2. Because he's an incredible athlete.
3. If he wins his court case, he will have the right to wrestle in TNA, RoH etc. If that happens, they will receive huge ratings and grow at an amazing rate, and WWE will have tough competition again.
To re-hire him would be the smartest thing they could do. He's got instant heel heat, and he's fantastic in the ring.

They wouldnt re-hire him, because of why they are in court and also because of the trouble it would cause backstage as the lockerroom were extremely unhappy with the way he did things. If he wanted to leave to play NFL, he should think about the aftermath if things didnt work out for him.

I think that Matt Hardy, Orton, HBK, and Tomko should go to Smackdown. Tomko needs to stop being Christians bitch because he barely does anything when Christian i around. Matt needs to change before he and Edge see each other. HBK doesnt really have a story with any other star at the moment so they could start one on SD maybe with Angle. And Orton just needs to go because hes just hanging around on Raw now.
Have you seen the new trailer for WM on WWE.com? Its really good, the first few were really funny, then the Taker and Cena/JBL ones came out and were too serious. But this one brings back the comedy.

When he signed his WWE contract, it had a no-competition clause in his contract where he couldn't sign to TNA, RoH, etc., and it lasted until 2010.
Brock just realized that, since he can't make it in the NFL, that he wants to come back to the WWE. He asked for a TON of money, and WWE obviously told him no. He's suing them for that amount of money.

I totally agree. He couldnt have loved wrestling too much to give it up like that, making movies isnt so demanding that he could never show up on the occasional monday night.

John Cena was on Sky Sports News a few minutes ago, the name of the program is self-explanitory.
I couldnt type it down word for word because he talks pretty quick, but i got some notes down onto notepad.
It started with his explanation of thuganomics, saying that it is his own wrestling style,
instead of wearing tights and long boots, he wears jeans and a basketball shirt. And that he has a PHD in thuganomics.
He then goes on to say how WM is very special because they work 52 weeks a year to get there, and it is the culmination of all that hard work.
Explains about JBL exploding the US title so now he has to wear mini versions of it on his wrist. He says hes going to beat up JBL, take his title, and do it with thuganomics".
His advice to any kids that want to become a wrestler is "word hard, dont give up, and if you truely love wrestling you'll always enjoy working in it".
Talks about his new CD that is due for release soon. His influences in hip-hop are "Anyone that is making records".
The presenters ask him to freestyle. (he freestyles too quick for me to remember it all) but the basic idea is about WM, thuganomics, and the "you cant see me".
Says that the female presenter is hot, and would be his contender for diva of the year if she joined.
Then he does the first (and unpainful part) of the FU on the female presenter - great view of her behind! - while he has her up in the air he says "i could do whatever i want to you right now, but i'll probably end up in jail".
After that he teachers her how to do the movements for "You cant see me!".
And finally he just promotes WM21 and tells everyone to order it and come see WWE in the U.K.

Just read about Psicosis joining WWE, so it does definately seem that the cruiserweights are getting a push as he, Blitzkrieg and Juventuud Guerra have been signed, and they were all big stars in WCW.
Also WWE trademarked The Masterlock, which was totally stupid - matches his character.

I will watch it, its the first and probably last time though, because it used to be free and should be! . Im only ordering it because of Austin's return and kicking someones *** - which is a definate ( i expect it to be Piper or Hassan (i would think that it would be Hassan from those two since the night before Piper gets inducted)), and the possibility of Hogan being involved.
Chris Masters is a Heat show character, and because of the way he was brought in i dont think he'll ever get past that. The fans will always remember him as "the guy who sucked on the 2 times he appeared"

Besides, last week's Velocity main event was the #1 Contender for the cruiserweight championship, where Paul London defeated Akio. That match was amazing, it was an eighteen-minute masterpiece with London reversing a Hurricarana for the victory. It was amazing.

It's quite good, there are a lot of options, but the Create-a-Wrestler is awesome because it gives you a lot of flexibility in making move sets and creating your character physically and physiologically. The matches are pretty good, and you can buy special moves from the ShopZone.
I've created The Hurricane, Tyson Tomko, and Paul London so far :)

Yea he does get a little repetitive, i wouldnt like to be on the recieving end of the Batista bomb though. If you watch him while he attacks Flair with it, you can see the difference in anger, just before contact with the mat he pushes Flair away from him and it doesnt have as much impact. This must be because of his age.
I also agree with Edge being crappy. Hes been a little b!tch lately with all the "IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ME" stuff. And then with the Matt/Lita part, hes not coming off well with the fans.

Shelton Benjamin is really talented, great athlete with great moves. I sometimes have trouble seeing the T-Bone Exploder as a really big finisher, it is cool looking though.
I think Batista is just what they need at the moment, he's coming off so well with the fans, his popularity is going to be massive going into Wrestlemania.
I used to be a big Edge fan, but I think he doesn't deserve to have any success at the moment after his actions with fellow workers. Granted, I'd **** Lita if I had the chance, but only if she was single you know, you can't just go wreck a relationship for the sake of getting off.

Did anyone else read that Jeff Jerret asked the rock to wrestle for NWA TNA and the rock said he would think about it.
Yeah, I read that.
I still think The Rock is going to show up at Wrestlemania. He lives in Hollywood (I think), and it's in LA, so he's bound to make an appearance... not to wrestle, per se, but to show up.
I will be surprised if he doesn't. The WWE always has a surprise every year.

I can't wait til wrestlemania. I want to c Big show fight that fat sumo wrestler. that will be great. I think Batista will school Triple H. I hope theres lot's of diva specials. thats my favourite part. also stone cold is coming back but he's not wrestling.
Wrestling comes and goes for poularity. It seems to be pretty big lately. with wrestlemania coming up and all. Theres alot more commercials on the radio and t.v.
Yeah and that new diva christy has the best *** i have seen in along time. :thumb:

Who would you all say has the best entrance?
HHH has got to be up there, hes had the same one for quite a while now but its still pretty darn good.
I think Eddie will turn on Rey this week rather than the week before WM21. They like to build it up before just putting them in a match.
If the Undertaker's entrance was cut down to two minutes, I would say his is pretty awesome. Yeah, HHH's is good, too. I like Edge's, I just hate the guy.
I am also a closet Hurricane entrance fan :)

Hurricane has one of the greatest gimmicks ever, it kind of takes you back to 1980's style WWF.

Did you ever see Wcw? The commentary on there was much more comedic, thats what The King tries to bring to WWE but JR doesnt really have a sense of humour and tries to keep it professional
Yeah, but that was such a long time ago for me. The King does a good job of playing the Horn Dog, though, I'll give him that... and you are right when you say JR tries to keep it professional. I like when he talks his mouth never moves, but just his face does.

OMG, Im registered with WWE chat now, and im in the Raw room. Its hilarious, they all think that wrestling is real. I said Edge doesnt really deserve anything at the minute from what he did to Matt, and the "you screwed me" thing is stupid. And they all started moaning "yeah but he did get screwed, Michaels was so unfair, i hate him for what he did, it was unhumane" lmao.

He barely ever showed up, and when he did it was for a few minutes, and then not too long ago his contract ran out with WWE. They said that it was a mishap, he said he knew nothing about it until it finished. But its hard to say whats going on, they might not want to pay him a load of money if hes not going to show.
I still think he's going to show at Wrestlemania. He may not wrestle, but he will make an appearance of some sort.
