Ugh, Black Reign is the worst idea ever. Goldust was at least funny and entertaining. Black Reign is just a fat guy that plays with rats.

No you're not. I am too. Can't wait for his return.
TNA really can't do the whole dark and gothic thing anymore after they screwed up Abyss. I thought they'd get it right with Seratonin, but I was wrong.
AA-12
11-15-2007, 07:03 AM
Abyss is still awesome though. Seratonin was pretty boring even though i'm a big Raven fan. I just wish Raven would get back in the ring.
Raven was awesome in the Monster's Ball at BFG. He's just kind of disappeared now haha.
I've been looking for the Best of CHIKARA dvd, since I heard it got a worldwide release, but I can't find it anywhere. All my local plaec stocks is WWE to the brim.

Haha, he's good at doing that.
Can you buy it online? If so i've got a link around here somewhere.
It's on Amazon.co.uk, but it's £20. Might see if it's Ebay. I've been meaning to get into the promotion now, heard it's sweet.

That CHIKARA stuff is the most peculiar thing I've come across in wrestling. Good stuff tho'.
And I too am a big raven fan. Wish he'd come back him Vs Angle for the title would be great I feel. And the main event of genesis the other night was awful. Altho I did enjoy giving the surprise away of booker T debuting for my dad by shouting CAN YOU DIG IT SUCKAAAAA before he came out.

11-18-2007, 10:32 PM
Edge you bastard! :argh:
Not a bad PPV - I hope Armageddon (is that the December one?) is decent - but bring on the Rumble, baby!
ECW: great opener; the hurricarana/powerbomb was awesome.
Divas match: makes sense for Team James to win since Beth's team could have lost without her getting pinned. I wish I could get a Mickie finisher once in my life ;)
Tag match was okay. I didn't really get into it too much, but I could still take something away from it.
Finlay/Hornswoggle was a nice feel-good thing. I wanted Finlay to just wail on Khali with that shillelagh, but nice to see Finlay help a brother from another mother out there.
Survivor Series match: I'm sad that there was only one this year, but I really enjoyed it because of the hype it received. Sucks about Matt not being able to perform, but if it was to sell the injury angle, then awesome. I liked how there was more than one sole survivor with HHH... the writing is on the wall that he is going to challenge Orton, but I really liked that Hardy survived as well.
Orton/HBK: loved the submissions, did not love the rest holds. With the reduced schedule, I didn't expect HBK to take it.
Taker/Batista: great HIAC match that was made better by Edge's insane chair shots to Taker. God damn, that was a lot of blood, and Edge definitely looked sinister.
I'll give the show a 3-3.5/5.
AA-12
11-19-2007, 09:59 AM
Yeah, I really loved the PPV. Everything was a pretty good pay-off from the buildup. I'm absolutely loving MVP right now. It sucks that MattVP is done with but i'm sure they'll still have a good program together with the U.S. title. MVP beating up Matt at Smackdown was depressing :(
Just started watching it. Admittedly I skipped the Divas and tag match, but the rest has been great so far. On the SS match now.
AA-12
11-19-2007, 10:22 AM
You should watch the entrances on the Divas match. Melina botched her split and fell off the ring, hahaha.
Also, psycholesbo Mickie <3<3<3<3
Hahaha I'm gonna watch that in a minute. AC calls :D
I miss crazy Mickie. She was awesome.

AA-12
11-21-2007, 09:48 AM
Man, Kennedy has been horrible lately. His matches have been boring and he sandbags everybody. It sucks too, because I used to love the dude.
On the bright side, the HBK thing has a ton of potential.
Now, I give you the greatest people's elbow in history:
http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd126/ratedj1/Sliding.gif
Yeah it's a shame Kennedy has screwed everything up for himself. He was set to be the golden boy with the whole pregnancy storyline, and now he's dropped to this. I hope he brings his game up with HBK.
And that gif is amazing. Do you have the gif where he's about to give a people's elbow to Taker, and Taker sits up only to get kicked down again and then people's elbowed?

Some of the spots in the ladder match were insane. I was cringing like mad.
Honestly, the whole card was perfect. The way they recapped it all made each match feel really important and not just random.
Sadly we don't get it here in the UK. It's not on PWTorrents or XWTorrents either.
Did you hear about last night? Jacobs beat Danielson. I was like :D:D:D when I read that.
On a side note though, I do have PWG BOLA07 to watch. That tournament is always good to watch.
AA-12
12-02-2007, 08:55 AM
Damn, that sucks. It's well worth the wait though.
Yeah, I saw that. I'm not sold on Jacobs yet (RoH noob here :o) but that match sounded great.
Jacobs cuts the best promos in ROH I think. His ringwork isn't the best, but it's definitely improved. I dunno, ever since I got into ROH I've just always been a fan of his. Plus I think Danielson is pretty overrated anyway, so it's always a plus to see him lose a match heh.
I'm sure Man Up will be up on torrents soon. Everything ends up there eventually.
AA-12
12-02-2007, 09:30 AM
Danielson has been one of my favorites since I started watching.
I also love Morishima so you probably hate me now :p

Be prepared for the biggest spotfest in wrestling history!
EDIT: Wow, it's funny I mentioned Kobashi up there. I just read that he's coming back :D:D:D
I was just channel flicking and Bloodbath was on The Wrestling Channel here in the UK. Basically Bloodbath is a collection of random deathmatches, and they had an electrified barbed wire women's deathmatch. It was so f'd up, there was a hatchet involved in the match and someone got a fireball thrown in their face.
I can't wait for the Ladder match on Man Up! though. If it got ladder matches banned from ROH, especially since it's the first one they've ever had, then it must be good.
AA-12
12-02-2007, 08:28 PM
****, why don't we get cool stuff like that here in the U.S.? :(
It's really insane man. I don't see how any wrestling fan could not love that match.
OK, just finished with Man Up! and wow, that match was ridiculous. They went through ladders like they were freaking tables! That package piledriver was just hard to watch when you hear the ladder crunch up.
Shame the full AotF promo couldn't be shown on PPV. Hopefully it makes the DVD.
AA-12
12-02-2007, 10:02 PM
Yeah, so many horribly painful looking spots. Getting thrown into a bunch of chairs looked bad too.
They showed a lot of it up until the hanging. It was still entertaining for what it was though.
Currently torrenting the NOAH event from today. I can't believe it was up so quick, but then again it's a huge night.
EDIT: Wow, this Winter Navigation event is incredible. The atmosphere of the main event with Kobashi is chilling. He's still in great shape somehow.
So did anyone watch Turning Point? If so, is it worth checking out? Because I haven't watched TNA in a long time and I dunno if it's worth it.
AA-12
12-03-2007, 06:34 PM

I watched a bit of the stream and it was horrible. Everyone said the whole thing sucked save for the women's title match and Joe's shoot promo on Scott Hall.

It was a solid Raw. Not many amazing matches but Jericho vs Umaga was great. Umaga can't have a bad match, I swear. I'm kind of convinced that samoans are the greatest wrestlers ever, haha.
I used to hate Umaga, but after his run with Jeff and a few other matches I'm a fan. He's probably the best monster WWE has at the moment.
But yeah, last night's Raw was one of the best in ages.

Punk should talk to KENTA again so he can realize that you don't lift your opponent up to drop him onto your knee, you do it to rocket your knee up and destroy them. I do love Punk's G2S though.
Safari is butchering that .gif haha. I thought it was half and half really, you drop them and rocket your knee up at the same time. Either way it looks lethal. I have a .gif of KENTA giving one to Low-Ki somewhere. I like Punk's though as well. Sometimes his can look amazing.
AA-12
12-05-2007, 12:41 PM

Chris Jericho's feud with Randy Orton looks to be a short one as it should be over soon. He may move on to a "war of words" feud with JBL, cultimating in a match at WrestleMania. Some people within WWE are already disappointed with Jericho's mic work, in-ring work and mild crowd reaction. Jericho was never expected to get a long period of grace, but the tide has turned against him fairly quickly.

Is the classic HHH-Michaels title match included in the DVD set?
House shows are usually just test grounds for future storylines to see if they go over well. It makes no sense bringing a SD! commentator to feud with a Raw superstar.
If so, then it was a nice to time to test Bradshaw against Jericho for a WM match-up.
However, yeah, Jericho does look to have mild crowd reaction. I blame the scene scripted for them. Jericho don't shine in face-promos and Orton don't do promos well if he is not 'chasing' something. They need a brawl-type thing like at the end of last week's Raw -- that was good and the crowd was into it.

Last night's Raw was amazing.
I would say that I was pretty entertained overall by the show (I haven't read any news sites in a few days, so that was cool), although it did drag on a bit in some spots. It was very cool seeing some of the Legends that you don't see as often. Steve Blackman looks like he could still wrestle today.
Opening segment of the family photo and HHH made me chuckle in a couple of spots ("Sup, Steph?" and "It's like I could be your son"), but it got a little long. I think an opening segment should be a little more concise than what it was, but for what it's worth, it was enjoyable. Hornswoggle's mannerisms and facial expressions are still pretty great; I'm surprised I haven't tired of his character on screen yet.
Hardy/Carlito: passable but pretty scary. The Shelton-themed jump from the rope by Carly was well done, but everything else after that was kind of frightening. Nice to see Hardy retain to get some momentum for the inevitable HHH squash instead of giving the strap to a whiny Carly.
Santino/RVD: way too short, but I was stoked as hell to see RVD return for one night. I wasn't expecting his music at all, but then I remembered that he just let his contract expire -- he wasn't fired or anything. So it was cool in my book.
3/4 Evolution vs. RKO/Umaga: was as expected, for the most part, but was still a cool sight to see for me.
Hornswoggle/Khali: I suspected Hogan would come out here and I was right. I know he's a politicker and a royal pain in the *** in terms of his ego, but I almost always love seeing Hogan make appearances. Not so much wrestling anymore, but I thought it was a pretty decent showing. I understood the American Gladiators plug, too, but it was nice to see him interact with the crowd again. Was that a Randy Savage jab at the end with the OH YEAHHHH? A shame about his real-life troubles; hopefully those will be reconciled soon.
15 Man Oldtimer's Battle Royal: I love the Fink, but this match was pretty gruesome to watch in spots because of the lack of shape these old-timers were in (save for S2H and Blackman), and also because the eliminations were pretty atrocious (poor Anvil, he's really looking bad in his tights). Loved the DiBiase/IRS interaction, though. Very cool to see Ted.
Bisch/Y2J: I could have done without this segment. I just wasn't really feeling it, for whatever reason. Nice seeing the Walls of Jericho again, even if it's still a Boston Crab instead of the old-school Walls.
Brokeback Mountain/Rhodes & Holly: nice to see new champs and a cool father/son moment, but this match seemed to fly by awfully quickly for a title defense.
Jillian/Trish/Lita: Trish looks gorgeous. Surprised Lita showed up after her less-than-stellar send-off earlier, but a nice face/face moment in taking out Jillian. The Ron Simmons/Kane/Lita segment was good for what it was worth, I guess.
Jannetty/Kennedy: alright match, the DX reunion was inevitable, obviously, but still, I didn't expect Jannetty/HBK to appear together.
Vince's announcement: the writing was on the wall that Stone Cold was going to appear after not showing up all show, but I didn't expect Foley and Undertaker. A nice way to end the show with the big reunion, too - this, in my mind, was a very good way to end the show.
So, yeah, I would say that I was entertained tonight, just a couple slow spots and superfluous segments. Fine by me tonight, though.

RVD coming back was so awesome. I didn't even nearly expect that.
The battle royal was cool too. Seeing Gangrel + entrance + music was my favorite part, haha.
The ending was perfect though too, mainly with Austin spilling the beer on his head
RVD? Seriously? Damn I have to download this show now. Sounds like an all star Raw. I wish Lita would have gotten in Vicky's face though. That would've been pretty funny to watch.
I'll get it in a minute, got to get Survival Of The Fittest too.

I watched Raw last night for the first time in a long time and I have to say that it was allright...
The planned things that went on was great but the execution was horrible. Kind of like modern day WWE in a nutshell. The battle royal was horrendous looking like a bunch of has beens looking for some easy dollars. Most of the wrestling in WWE is beyond horrible now in most of the matches... Whatever happened to pacing?
The flashback moments were probably the best part of the show plus the end where they couldn't of planned it out anymore perfectly. If anything the show should be a reminder to the federation of how great it used to be.

It's just a sad excuse of wrestling. When they dropped off the F they really lost alot. I mean the Cody Rhodes/BobHolly tag team match was as cliche as it could of possibly gotten and as short as it could of probably been made. They jam up way too much time for promo's that aren't even entertaining anymore and even advertising during them.
When I watch old WCW and ECW matches that they used to let the guys go on for like 15-20 minutes... that's where wrestling should of been Entertaining.
And it was...

But the wrestling is barely sellable now. It's a disgrace to the former WWF product. Triple H's non heel role is definitely degrading to modern WWE since he really took over as a main heel for so long. The whole DX thing is way too old to ever bring back and having it only as two guys isn't the original DX. HBK is old. Triple H is getting older...
Late 90's WWF was really where it was at... they had a healthy line of mid carders and main eventers where it just seems washed together now.

I completely disagree there. It sounds like you're just clinging onto old wrestling. I love the old stuff too, but the new WWE is equally great.
I don't mind new WWE, but everyone looks the same, and that annoys me. There's some things I love though. Santino is comedy gold, as is Hornswoggle. As for the wrestling itself, it sucks plain and simple. But I'm not stupid, I know Vince is appealing to marks who don't care about the wrestling and only about the storylines.
Have you seen AotF's new video on their website? It's weird, very Fight Club-ish. There's also a strip club next to a Toys R Us in it too, which they point out. I thought that was kinda funny/f'd up.
Understanding In a Crash

I just think they made alot of bad decisions in guys to turn face/heel and some of the promos are just lacklusting.
In terms of wrestling though on Monday night Kennedy was the only guy who really seemed to have it. It's sad that Marty Jannetty can move around the ring better then most of these younger guys.
And yeah the wrestling should be just as good as the promos if not better. It's worked for entertainment seeing as WCW used to put a hurting on Raw ratings when it was in it's prime.
Carlito is solid in the ring I think, and assuming he doesn't botch any thing, Jeff is still good to watch. Most of the decent wrestlers in WWE are in VelociHeatCW now really, which sucks since it's only an hour long.

I just watched that AotF video. Kind of weird. 'Not sure if I really liked it.
Never, they aren't even released over here :(
And I agree. Hopefully they beat Briscoes at the end of the year and **** really lifts off, but yeah that video was weak. As much as I love Jimmy he's done so much better promo-wise.

I bought a PS2 for FPR and it's awesome. I'm going to start making videos soon probably.
Yeah, they're great and all but the promo was just too amateur looking. Not really very effective.
I need to see that.
Most of the match he spent it sitting on the stage with Larry, who might just be the most entertaining person in wrestling ever. Then later he paid Roderick to help him gang up on Claudio, only to pin Roderick and take his money back. It was classic.

in related news, i'm loving Jeff now. He really cleaned up his act and improved his in ring ability. I'd love to see him get the title

Oh, haha, now I see it.
Yeah, he went from being a drugged out botching career-midcarder to a solid main event guy.
I'm still impressed both he and Matt have had such success. Not often we see both members of a tag team do well in singles.
I really can't wait for this elimination chamber though. Usually I can't stand it and think it's the worst gimmick match (Worse than the 3 story cage from WCW), but if it has Jeff, Triple H, Orton, maybe even Jericho and JBL, it should be really good.
AA-12
12-20-2007, 11:52 PM
Matt is too boring to be honest. I like him and all but he needs a gimmick change/more MVP
Yeah, the build up to WM this year looks great. NWO not being a throwaway PPV is nice too.
Before his infection, the MVP/Hardy storyline was hands-down the best one going. When he returns (and I predict him winning the strap at Wrestlemania), the pop is going to be thunderous.
I highly doubt Jeff Hardy is going to win the strap from Orton, though. The Rumble title matches are always made to make the champ look good... Brock Lesnar/Hardcore Holly, anyone? Holly had a snowball's chance in Hell winning that title :p
I like Matt, but he definitely needs a new finisher. Jeff does the twist of fate too, and then does a swanton off the top. Matt just doing the twist of fate looks lame. But I think the whole MVP thing has made Matt a lot better.

AA-12
12-22-2007, 10:38 AM
It would be crazy to see him get screwed by Orton twice and then win the RR.
That would be weird, but awesome. I think everyone would just be confused, like when Orton got the title, lost it to Triple H, then won it back again all in one night. But yeah it would be cool to watch Jeff win the rumble after getting screwed by Orton. Would definitely cement him in the main event until WM at least.

Chris Hero's Christmas Bag For The Stars
Nigel McGuinness -- a one way trip to any wrestling academy so that he can learn a new move besides the clothesline. For a World Champion, he sure is one-dimensional. Oh, and a balloon payment on his health insurance, because after we tangle again, he's going to need to see a doctor, maybe a specialist or two. Finally for Nigel, a gift certificate for the finest hair salon in Jolly Old England, because that style went out to the cemetery with the rest of Punk rock in the late seventies. Plus, that spiked hair is an illegal object—it's sharper than most cacti! It's a wonder why biased ROH officials such as Paul Turner allow him to wrestle with that atrocious and mussed up mane. He may also be hiding weapons inside, or a baby bird's egg.
Brian Danielson—a captain's hat, a parrot and a hook, so that he can complete his "Captain Hook" impersonation. Oh, and a month's supply of Prozac to calm all that rage. Oh and an investigation by the ASPCA so that they can look into all of these cattle he has mutilated over the years. Mike Vick, eat your heart out. You are a very horrible person Bryan and you know it!
Austin Aries – lifts for his boots so that he knows what its like to be a really big man, and a one way ticket back to Orlando, so that he can stink up that show, and not one that I'm on. Oh and for lightening to strike him down. "Reach out and touch faith?" What blasphemy on this blessed and holy holiday. Aries, you are a charlatan and a false god.
Mark Briscoe—some new pearly white front teeth and a small amount of common sense. Too bad the latter gift will go wasted on the inbred fool. You know the saying, "spare the rod?" Mama Briscoe did no such thing with Mark here.
Jay Briscoe – a new leash to keep his little brother on, and a gift certificate to a tattoo parlor so that he can continue to turn himself into a human billboard of stupidity.
Roderick Strong—some diction lessons and the registration fee for an acting class so that maybe, just maybe he'll be able to cut a coherent and interesting promo at least once in the next calendar year.
Jimmy Jacobs and the Age Of The Fall—a year's subscription to the cheese of the month club to go along with all that whine. Oh, and a healthy supply of crying towels.
Delirious— a universal translating device, a no rip mask, some of that double sided tape, and a new razor to shave off that ridiculous beard. Doesn't he know how stupid he looks?
The Necro Butcher – a nice new pair of shoes. Sure, he's an old friend, but the bare feet thing? It's kind of disgusting.
Takeshi Morishima – a membership in Weight Watchers and a good, strong cup so that the next time Danielson decides to stop on his nuts, at least he has some protection.
BJ Whitmer –a microphone that drops down from the top of the arena, so he can complete the look. Failing that, a blood transfusion from yours truly, so that maybe, just maybe he can get some kind of personality. Sweet Jesus that guy is boring.
Rocky Romero—Five lessons at the local Arthur Murray Dance School. He does that little shimmy in the ring, so I figure maybe a "Dancing With The Stars" appearance might not be too far off. Oh, and a valid green card.
Erick Stevens—a train conductor's hat, so at least he won't look so out of place when he shouts out that ridiculously pathetic "Choo Choo" chant. Also, a nice new hair clipper so that he can finish the job on that stupid haircut. What kind of loser still thinks that the Mohawk is still in fashion? What a tool.
El Generico—a copy of his birth certificate so that he can realize that he's Canadian and not Mexican. It's always sad to see someone deny who he or she truly is, so I think this would do the trick.
Kevin Steen—a nice big serving of humble pie. I've never seen someone who is so full of themselves and has never actually done anything that would give them the right to think that way. Oh, and a years supply of Clearasil and Pro-Activ.
Davey Richards——the chance to wrestle me, so that he can actually have a decent match in ROH.
Naomichi Marufuji—an open invitation to join Sweet & Sour Inc. It seems that we share a common dislike of Castagnoli, and I think that he would be a great addition to the best stable in ROH today.
The CHIKARA Guys— the opportunity to stick around in ROH for a while so that all the ROH-bots will have the chance to see me kick their asses just like all the CHIKARA fans have already seen.
Mike Quackenbush—admittance into the nursing home of his choice. Either that or a session with Dr. Kevorkian so that he can put us all out of our misery by having to watch him wrestle.
Gabe Sapolsky and Cary Silkin—the honor of having me as the ROH World Heavyweight Champion. They know it, and you know it too that Chris Hero means money, and that's why we are all in the business, right, to make the big money?
And now, let's get to the real meat of the list, the members of Sweet & Sour Incorporated:
Larry Sweeney—an unlimited supply of Coppertone, a new blue tooth headset, a smoking hot executive assistant, and big bags of cash with the monetary value of what's inside written on it. That's what you give the man who already has everything. Oh, and a two-week trip to Hawaii with yours truly after I win the ROH Title.
Tank Toland—a new Bowflex, Ab-Lounge, Total Gym, and Power Bands to supplement his already impressive collection of workout equipment. In addition, a case of baby oil so that when he wants to look super ripped, he's always prepared.
Sara Del Rey—recognition as the best Women's wrestler alive today. That and a thigh master.
Blobby Dempsey—a haircut, a new fat suit, and a muzzle so that he CAN'T eat. Sure, it sounds cruel, but I'm just trying to save him from himself.
And last but never least, my old friend, Claudio Castagnoli. I have a few special gifts for "Double C", starting with a year's supply of Rogaine. It's always sad to see a young man lose his hair at such an early point in his life, so I'd like to help him with that. In addition, I'm going to give Claudio a job as my manservant after I beat him on the 29th. I figure he'll be looking for work and it is the time of the year for giving, so I'll let him do all of my menial tasks like washing my ring gear, polishing my boots, and wiping my brow when I get sweaty during a match. This offer, in and of itself is a clear illustration of just how good of a person I truly am. In my estimation, this type of thing makes me almost saintly…. just like good old St. Nick himself.. Hell you can just call me the spirit of Chris-mas.
I love Chris Hero so goddamn much. He doesn't even need to wrestle, he can just act like an idiot all the time and he's still be awesome.

TNA's writers are idiots. Apparently Christian beat Angle by DQ in Montreal or something, I guess for a house show? Apparently the writers also forgot titles can change hands by DQ in TNA, so um they fu/cked up! How this company thinks they stand a chance against WWE like this is beyond me.
P.S. This thread has been dead for ages, what's up?
AA-12
01-01-2008, 06:00 PM
I thought it was changed hands via DQ only if they decide it can. wtf@tna anyway.
So, Nigel McGuiness is pretty much dead :^
I dunno, I remember Abyss beat Sting by DQ for the belt. But then I guess Jeff would've lost it like 10 times, so who knows. It's TNA, I couldn't guess what they are thinking.
I heard about that. Was never a big Nigel fan anyway, but it sucks that he's out for so long since he's the champ. He has some retarded moves though. Anyone who falls for the mule kick or jawbreaker lariat deserves what they get.
Besides, new tag champs :D
2008 = Year of AotF

Lariats are awesome :p
yeah, I can't wait to see this ppv
Lariats are awesome. The jawbreaker one just sucks though haha. I miss when Nigel did more of his mat based wrestling. He's an awesome wrestler, but he really kills his arms in that ring.
I can't wait to see pics of the shows though. I wanna see Delirious' new ring gear.
Oh yeah, I got the Man Up! double disc today. The dark matches are awesome. Amazing Kong scares the hell out of me.
AA-12
01-01-2008, 06:19 PM
Whoa, new Delirious gear? That reminds me, I got a Delirious shirt for christmas (wearing it right now).
Amazing Kong is awesome. Best thing in TNA :o
Yup, apparently Delirious had a red mask and red outfit. I hope he goes mental next year. I love the guy so much. I'll miss his comedy act though. Actually I really miss the funny stuff they did at the start of shows with guys like Colt and Delirious.
AA-12
01-01-2008, 06:26 PM
Wait whoa what the hell, he isn't mental now? :(
Touche :p
But you know what I mean, more serious I guess. His last promo on the Video Wire was just flat out creepy.
AA-12
01-01-2008, 06:30 PM
Yeah, I know what you mean.
For some reason when I think of red Delirious I think of Spider-Man doing coke.
That only makes me want to see pics of his new gear more :D
I wish ROH would get a real photographer. Actually if I'm wishing for stuff I wish they'd get a TV deal so I wouldn't have to wait 3 months to watch stuff, but whatever haha.
AA-12
01-01-2008, 06:37 PM
I think they'll have a tv deal in 2008. If TNA can...
I still think Vince bought TNA and just turned it into a parody of itself, which will lead to Hornswoggle buying TNA and another invasion storyline.
But yeah the PPVs are doing well and they are getting DVDs in retail stores this year too.
AA-12
01-01-2008, 06:42 PM
That would be awesome, haha.
Any idea of the stores?
I dunno, anywhere you can buy wrestling DVDs I guess. If CHIKARA can get their DVD in stores, I don't see why ROH can't. I think SHIMMER put theirs in stores too which is shocking since like 10 people turn up for their shows.
AA-12
01-01-2008, 06:46 PM
I hope that means Best Buy :D
The first 2 DVDs will be 2 new best of sets, one for the bloodiest brawls and another for ROH alumni or something. Hopefully they'll come out over here, I wanna see the bloodiest brawls one.
2muchket!
01-01-2008, 07:12 PM
I guarntee one of the matches on Bloodies Brawls is were Xaxier smashed the pole+concrete into I think Low-Ki. It was one of their first shows anyway.
I'd love to see some new ROH on The Wrestling Channel in england. I think alot of their stuff is about 2 years old :\
and lmao Nigel went to town on that fan in NY
hope he gets back soon anyway

I thought Vince bought TNA after the whole Angle thing came about. If you look at it, no fuss after the Angle deal as far as the WWE go, countless people going over there and slagging off the WWE.

I think stuff on the Wrestling Channel is from last year actually. I keep seeing the CZW feud on there. Man that makes me want to watch DBD4 now for the Cage of Death match.

Yeah man, the pics from Final Battle make me want to see it so much. The pics of AotF with the belts look sweet.
You watching Final Resolution tomorrow?
AA-12
01-05-2008, 12:25 PM
Doubt it. TNA has been really horrible lately (always?). The card isn't bad though.
TNA isn't bad if you only watch PPVs. Actually it kinda is, but yeah this card looks pretty sweet. LAX/Rave and whoever he teams with, Ultimate X, Cage/Angle for the title. Looking forward to downloading it Monday morning heh.
AA-12
01-05-2008, 12:32 PM
Yeah but impact is free and shows what leads up to the PPVs. If I didn't watch it then i'd never watch the PPVs. Meh, we'll see. I might get it if I have nothing better to do.
I imagine it will be a huge letdown like most TNA PPVs, but whatever.

Probably.
Looking forward to the Royal Rumble? It's shaping up to be great.
I have a feeling that Trips is going to win it. Even though he isn't supposed to be in it because he didn't retire Flair, he will somehow, someway (probably by re-burying Umaga and the entire tag division in a ridiculous handicap match) sneak his way back in and win it all, setting up Orton/HHH at Mania.
Probably.
Looking forward to the Royal Rumble? It's shaping up to be great.
Hell yeah, the Rumble is my favourite PPV of the year. Plus this is the first time they are doing it in HD, should be interesting to see how it looks.

I'd like to see HHH get another title run. Since i'll be front row at WM24 it would be if cooler if the win was there :D
About the RR, it sucks how to HD broadcast is $10 more.
It makes sense though I guess.
So Final Resolution was pretty good I think. For a TNA PPV anyway.
Since i'll be front row at WM24 it would be if cooler if the win was there :D
Whoa, nice, didn't know that.
I'm pretty sure that HHH is going to eclipse (even if it's just slightly) Flair's 16-time world champion record before he retires for good.
