MVP vs. Matt Hardy was canceled for SummerSlam.
-WrestlingObserver.com
...
As things currently stand there will not be a MVP vs. Matt Hardy match at Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. The reason for this being is WWE was not sure on whether or not MVP would be ready to work due to his health situation and did not want to commit him to a match. Look for WWE to continue to build the Hardy/MVP feud and have a bout between the two at next month’s Unforgiven pay-per-view.

We’ve heard from one source that WWE plans to move The Highlanders to SmackDown.

So, what's everyone thinking for the title matches at Summerslam. I think John Cena will finally be dethrowned as he's had the title for a ridiculous amount of time and they really seem to be building up Randy Orton.
Batista and Khali I'm not at all sure about. I'm thinking even if Khali does win he won't have the title for much longer because the ****ing guy doesn't even speak english. I'm betting that whoever wins that match will feud with Taker when he comes back.

NoDQ paraphrasing wrestlingobserver.com's notes
- The original plan for John Cena vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Title was to see a title change. The general feeling is that the Jersey crowd will be very pro-Orton in this match, with Cena still having pockets of fans in attendance regardless.
- Reports on Triple H have him coming in at 250 pounds, which is a lot lighter since the last he came back from his quad injury. He is expected to get a huge reaction since they have kept him off TV doing the King Booker angle.
- At this point, the general feeling is that any match The Great Khali takes part in on live TV is a huge risk. Despite what many think, it is possible they could still keep the belt off of Batista to continue the feud.
- Mr. Kennedy is the likely person to walk away with the WWE Intercontinental Title tomorrow night in the Triple Threat with Umaga and Carlito. Plans can always change, but it would be an easy way to get the belt off Umaga without hurting him.
- A Smackdown Diva is more likely to win the Divas Battle Royal to setup a Raw vs. Smackdown match at the next PPV for the WWE Women's Title. Michelle McCool seems like a top candidate along with Beth Phoenix.*
- Kane vs. Finlay is expected to be a comedy match involving Hornswoggle.**
- Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs. Cryme Tyme for the World Tag Team Titles could be added to the card at last minute unless plans change.***
* If McCool won and then won the title, would that bring the tittle to SD?
** This is looking like a filler match....why not just give them so good f'n ring time?
*** If this match happens then it's be 1 of 2 title shots that CT has won being used so they're have one more...

Murdoch and Cade vs. Cryme Time would be nice I think. I hope it will happen
Orton over Cena via pinfall
Batista over Khali via pinfall
Punk over Morrison via pinfall
Kennedy over Carlito (Umaga safe) via pinfall
Yeah, that's right, I'm calling for four title changes. I'll probably be wrong, but hey!
Beth Phoenix to throw Michelle McCool over for the #1 Contendership
Kane over Finlay via pinfall
Trips over Booker via pinfall
Rey over Chavo via pinfall

Overall, I wouldn't really call SummerSlam 'the party of the summer.' Who's next in terms of build-up before Cena crushes them? I was completely convinced that Orton's mean streak of legend killing and RKOing was going to lead to a title change - he had all the momentum on his side - and then all of a sudden Cena kicks out of an RKO and Orton can't kick out of an FU. Illogical booking, but whatever, maybe Orton will win it tonight, since RAW's in Cena territory (Boston-ish)!

Indeed. It was quite dissapointing to see Cena with the title, I like him, but this unbeatable thing needs to stop! If they wanted Randy to be one of the leading stars, there is no better way than for him to win the title.
Couldnt care less for the other matches really, HHH would easily win, I would cheer for Kane if they put him in a position to win a worthwhile match

As of right now, there are no plans on holding a New Year's Revolution PPV next year. It will be interesting to see where the Elimination Chamber match will show up.
The following pay-per-view dates have been confirmed for 2008:
Royal Rumble - 1/27/08 (Madison Square Garden)
No Way Out - 2./17/08
Wrestlemania 24 3/30/08 (Citrus Bowl)
Backlash - 4/27/08
Judgment Day- 5/18/08
One Night Stand - 6/1/08

Great American Bash - 7/20/08

Oh yeah, Vince isn't stupid. He knows there's smarks who pay attention to the little details. He also knows that he can string them along and they will keep paying for PPVs because they want to see the title away from Cena, and to a lesser extent, Khali and Morrison.
A part of me really hates the internet wrestling fan scene though. I really can't stand the arrogant wrestling fans. Most people I talk to, including here, are cool and very good to talk to. But you get some who waste their time dissecting what they didn't like about matches and criticizing wrestlers they can't even compare to.
Yeah, I hear you there. I don't think there's anything wrong with a smark, and I'm not saying that just because I am one. Whenever one of my favorite entertainers comes out or comes back, I go crazy. Right when they were teasing Matt Hardy's return a year or two ago on RAW, right when the rumors were going wild, and they played his music? I went absolutely bonkers. It was one of the few times I've gotten out of my chair going, "Holy crap, it's actually happening!" but when the music died and Edge and Lita were just standing there with smirks on their faces, I was like, "You bastards "
But then he actually came back, and I re-marked out. I mark out for huge spots, especially ones where I know there's a huge chance somebody could get ****ed up (see: Jeff/Edge ladder spot at WM23). I love watching the product but I hate the crappy storylines sometimes. I love to babble about ring psychology and a match telling a story and all that, but in the end, I just like the sports part of sports entertainment.
So far this year, there've been 67 PPV matches (not counting ones that were tacked on during the show, note that), and I've only correctly guessed 46 of them, yet I'm tied for first at the forum I post at in terms of correct guesses. It goes to show that the WWE isn't all that predictable, even though it definitely feels like it sometimes.
One thing I don't want is another diva search wasting my time... seriously. Yes, they're all beautiful, and yes, they all say they want to wrestle, but looking at all the past DS winners, they're either out of the company or reserved for T&A.
Haha, I read that as TNA, which still works considering Christy is there now. But yeah, the Diva search is such a mess. All tits and ***, the bare minimum ring talent, with a few exceptions. I'll say that I love the Candice/Melina feud. I think that they could be the next Trish/Lita feud, but knowing WWE, they will probably end it in some lingerie pillow fight in a swimming pool.
But I agree with you. I definitely mark out when I see certain things in WWE. Triple H's first return was probably the biggest one for me. Summerslam this year, not so much, because it was essentially a squash, but damn that first time he came back on Raw was the day I started watching Raw properly. The sad thing is that Raw is pretty much a talking show nowadays, which is dreadful considering the talent they got from SD and ECW from the draft. Londrick have practically disappeared after holding the SD titles for nearly a year!

I agree 100%. I'm definitely a smark, but I treat wrestling as if it was real. I mean, why not? It makes it more exciting and enjoyable.

Based on independent information received from investigators from the Albany County, NY D.A.’s office, WWE has today, under the penalty provisions of its wellness policy, issued suspension notices to 10 of its performers for violations. It has been WWE’s practice not to release the names of those who have been suspended, but notice has been sent to all WWE performers that names of anyone who is suspended under the Wellness Policy as of November 1 will be made public.

Oh lol
You know it's true.
\_0_/
The Hooligans replaced Cryme Tyme in the storyline, which is cool with me. Sucks to read about the reason for their firing (although it is pretty funny why), because they stayed in character and made the best of a crappy situation, and their only mistake was doing their finisher on someone not trained to take the bump, despite them protecting him. Oh well.
Here, from the news:
As for Crime Tyme, there's a very interesting story behind this one. Backstage, there has been heat between Crime Tyme and Cade & Murdoch for several weeks. During an altercation at a house show this weekend, shad from Crime Tyme said to Trevor Murdock, "Whatever happens out there happens". This was seen as a direct threat and Murdoch addressed Shad's threat in front of the rest of the locker room.
Cade & Murdoch decided to pull a rib on Crime Tyme involving the referee of their match that night and a major swerve. There is a spot in the match where JTG gets bumnped out of the ring and gets back in right before getting counted out. The swerve is that the refs were going to count very fast at the end and disqualify Crime Tyme - -without them knowing hte real finish to the match. After it went down, Crime Tyme was shocked -- but immediately gave the referee their finishing maneuver - took off his belt and auctioned it off in the crowd!
Although the referee was protected during the move and they stayed in character by auctioning off his belt, Crime Tyme still performed their finisher on somebody who did not expect it or was trained to take it and were seen as the real "bad guys" of the whole situation. They were released after the show.
Who's fault is that then? C&M and the ref for not letting CT know the real finish. How did they expect to react when the ref fast counted them out? Maybe Vince will come to his senses when he realizes firing ANOTHER tag-team just brings that division down more when their main guys are being suspended left and right.
But hey, Londrick are in the feud now, which is awesome. No more Heat shows I guess :D

I sincerely hope so, however, heel vs. heel? Unless they plan on getting Orton out of the title picture soon, its going to be weird.
I'm thinking that Cena's dad will cost him the title. It'd be a decent swerve.

Yeah he quit but WWE is trying to get him back
also plans for ECW title is that Punk keeps it till morrison comes back and then loses it to him
That's so stupid. Punk needs a run with the title, not to be a placeholder.
WWE just put themselves in it though. Having ANOTHER number one contender's match for Punk to win, then the scandal broke and they were stuck with Punk taking the title. It was quite obvious his win was because of the scandal, and that they wanted his first win to be a huge moment in ECW, but now they've screwed it all up. Just have Morrison get himself DQ'd, get the belt forfeited, then have a match at Unforgiven to decide the champ, then lose it back to Morrison.
I love Morrison. He has some badass moves, and he knows WWE style more than Punk. But this isn't helping ECW by putting the title on ECW's poster boy just for him to lose it when Morrison comes back.

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that Robert Huffman (King Booker) quit WWE when he was told that he was to be suspended for 60 days, as a punishment to the Signature Pharmacy bust. He was believed to have failed a Wellness Program test before, hence the 60 days suspension instead of 30.
While WWE is still trying to negotiate Huffman's staying with them, they're going on under the impression he's done. The two sides had been having troubles recently, with a major setback being John Laurinaitis' call to go with Florida for a developmental territory - where WWE would start from scratch - instead of going with Booker's already established PWA, which WWE had been loaning wrestlers to. After they made the call to stop that, Booker went to his friends at TNA and booked them for his shows instead, which didn't sit so well with anyone backstage, but they couldn't say much having pulled WWE talent from PWA.
Booker is pretty much set financially and has wanted out of wrestling for a while. At age 42, he's accomplished a lot, and thanks to his hip hop store doing well in Houston, and his two wrestling schools up and running, there's really no need for him to stick around.

Headbuttin', cross-facin', as a technical king,
All while shootin' some steroids outside of the ring.
When I lost my iPod, I was up to no good.
Skipped a match and flew back to my neighborhood.
I took one too many roids, my wife gasped for breath,
I said "Stop moving your little *** while I choke you to death!"
I whistled for my son and when he came near,
He still had "Fragile-X" and the physique of a queer.
If anything I could say that this kid was rare,
But I thought "Nah, forget it" and deprived him of air!
I went down to the gym around 7 or 8,
And I yelled to myself "Yo Chris, smell ya latah!"
Hung myself to death, at a very young age,
Now I'm burning in hell, all because of roid-rage.

Best TNA PPV in ages. I feel sorry for AJ and Tomko having to face Team Wakka Wakka at BFG now.
Shockingly, coming in second was ECW's Stevie Richards with 18% of the vote. At a glance, the long-time ECW veteran doesn't appear to have any resemblance to McMahon, but has shown his leadership mettle as the head of the factions Right To Censor and Blue World Order in the past. Does he get it from dad? We'll find out.
Interestingly, tag-team specialist Paul London ranks in the top five. The man who seemed amused the night Mr. McMahon was presumed dead. But would he be amused if he found out he was the Chairman's son?

Batista getting the belt off Khali was good, mainly for another Taker vs. Batista match (I don't care what you say, WM23 match was amazing on both parts)
Taker's awesomeness was countered by Mark Henry's complete retardedness. He couldn't move around the ring for a cupcake.
As for Batista, I guess it's good now that the belt is off Khali, but this was his 8th title shot in a row. I'm just sick of seeing him in pointless feuds. I'd have preferred Rey to get it.
Hahaha, I agree with that first part, Kif.

Probably, but only because Cena can't play emotional to save his life. His dad got the **** kicked out of him by Orton, and all Cena does in revenge is slap him in the STFU. Give him some chair shots, hit him with the belt, do something other than that lame submission!

Yeah too bad. They could have shorten the Taker/Henry match to a squash. Give Henry a major whooping.
Then spend more time on the triple threat match.
Anybody think Cena/Orty No Mercy match is gonna end with a draw? Then the eventual title change on Survivor Series.
I still contend that Cena's father is going to turn heel and cost his son the title at No Mercy. Somehow, someway, Orton will finally get the big blow-off everybody wants.
shaqadelic
09-17-2007, 07:24 PM
Well. They gonna try to delay the blow off as much as they can. Cause once Orty wins, apparently the plan is to feud him against the Game all the way to Wrestlemania. So a No Mercy title change seems too early to me.
I am expecting a Survivor Series title change with a rematch on December where the stipulation is if Cena loses, he cannot get a rematch anymore. Of course, Cena will lose. Then Cena will goto the Rumble, win it and challenge Batista cause Cena needs a brand change.
I still contend that Cena's father is going to turn heel
It will be interesting if Cena's dad turned heel. However, I prefer if the title change to be clean. Cuz Orty is a monster heel now. It would suck to make him look weak and unable to win the big match on his own.
Cena will not change brands - he's their #1 moneymaker, so he's going to stay on the flagship show.
One scenario I considered was Batista holding the title until Edge returns, where Edge will take the strap, leading to a battle of undefeateds at Wrestlemania XXIV between him and the Undertaker.
That's what I've been wondering about too Jom. I would kill for that match, since they are both undefeated at Wrestlemania.
shaqadelic
09-17-2007, 08:03 PM
Cena eventual lost of the belt is their moneymaker. Cena himself a monster draw, not really.
Cena has no more heel opponents at Raw. He has basically gone through everybody. Atleast, in Smackdown, there are some new possibilities.
The flagship show can survive once HBK and the up and coming main face Lashley returns. The latter can easily take Cena's place as the main dominant face. Heck, even with the now fresh HHH, the face scene is covered.

I'm sad that Tommy Dreamer won't get a shot at the title, but that's understandable, you can't have face vs face. It'll most likely be Kevin Thorn elimated, followed by Dreamer, then Elijah Burke going for Punk's title.

If he's going anywhere, it's RAW without a shadow of a doubt. RAW needs Jericho a lot more than Smackdown needs him, I think.
I have read sooooo many theories, it's crazy. Here's one of my favorites because it's crazy enough to be legitimate:
* - The phrase "7OCT" is repeated over and over on one frame. October 7th is the date of WWE's next PPV, No Mercy.
* - If you pause the youtube video at around 1 second, you'll see 7Oct... Which is the date of No Mercy. Where's No Mercy taking place at? Chicago, IL... at the Allstate Arena.
Where did Jericho make his WWE debut at?
April 1999, Chicago, IL.

WWE - Chris Jericho Confirms His Return, More on the Video
- Chris Jericho has changed the headline on his official MySpace page to say this: "I'm coming back!!"
With all the reports of Jericho talking with WWE, this most likely means he is returning to WWE. With the debut of the "Save Us" video on RAW last night, the rumor mill is running rampant with talk that the video is for Jericho.
WWE - Detailed Look at the SAVE_US.222 Video/Y2J's Relation
- Save_Us.222: I know for a fact I have been seeing signs on RAW that say "Save Us Jericho", maybe WWE picked up on this and ran with it
- CHAMP_HARD: Jericho was a former WWE Hardcore Champion
- SMACK_BROUGHT1: Jericho was on SmackDown and on his debut, he brought the "smack" to The Rock. Also, remember back when Jericho interviewed the #1 Draft Pick from SD!, John Cena. Jericho was also brought over from RAW to SmackDown.
- CD_VOLUME4_1: This might be the most significant clue, as Jericho's theme Break The Walls Down was the first track on the 4th WWE Music CD
- WM00_MATCH and WM_MATCH_TRI: Jericho wrestled Benoit and Angle in the Triple Threat Match at WM
- LIVEWIRE: A song by Jericho's band, Fozzy, also an old show, WWE Livewire
- TALENT_PRE: Obvious, Jericho was a former WWE talent
- BAT_***_WEEK: A reference to Jericho on VH1's Best Week Ever? Or a clue at Jericho's obvious humor side
- JVC_FIX: A former WWE sponsor
- PROMO_99: Jericho's WWE debut came in 1999 and he cut that infamous promo on The Rock
- 7_OCT: WWE's No Mercy PPV in October
- RAW_DOUBLE_FIN and RAW_REV: A possible reference to the match against Triple H on RAW which Jericho had won, or so we thought, only to see Triple H void the title change. Also, Jericho and Chyna both won the WWE IC Title on a double pin.
- KOR_Qualify13_60: Jericho qualified for the King of the Ring twice
- r/shara/catman/a_man/cat1: A Lionheart reference, maybe
- share/Insight/library/SGI_bookshelves: Possible reference to Jericho's book
- RAW_REV_MAY2.action: Jericho defeated Benoit for the WWE IC Title on May 2, 2000
- BIG_SHOW: This is the only name that means anything that is in the promo, so WWE could have thrown it in there just to confuse the fans. Also, with the above mentioned CHAMP_HARD, Jericho defeated Big Show for the Hardcore title in 2001.
- RAW_WAR_BUMPER: RAW is WAR was the catchphrase back when Y2J was around, and he often "bumped" the phrase around to say RAW is Jericho
- DISP_CHAMP: A possible reference to Jericho's reign as WWE Undisputed Champion
- giga/flame_5.0.7OCT/action: WWE No Mercy starts at 5:00PM on October 7th
- Also, according to his official website, his book signing tour starts on 10/25, and none of those dates are for Mondays. Also, I'm pretty sure WWE Cyber Sunday is the 222nd WWE PPV, though I could be wrong. I guess it would be possible that the SAVE_US.222 could countdown and change to SAVE_US.22J then end with SAVE_US.Y2J.
If you listen closely on the video, you will definitley hear a voice whisper "I'm Back" and it also sounds like there may be a "Lionheart" whisper in there as well. The video even counts down from 6 to 1, kind of like his old WWE Y2J debut promo did. If that isn't enough to add speculation to the fire, The Allstate Arena in Chicago. where WWE No Mercy will be held this year, is the same place that Jericho made his original debut with WWE.
The whole "Save Us" could trace back to when Jericho came to WWE originally, his whole schtick was that he was here to "Save the WWE" and in many of his old promos, he always refers to being a "saviour" and stuff. In another interesting note, WWE Cyber Sunday is being held in Washington, D.C. which is the last place Jericho wrestled a WWE PPV match.
There's also a slight reference to the Bible verse, Joshua 2, Verse 2 (Joshua 2:2) which is: "The king of Jericho was told, "Look! Some of the Israelites have come here tonight to spy out the land." 3 So the king of Jericho sent this message to Rahab: "Bring out the men who came to you and entered your house, because they have come to spy out the whole land." The Bible verse, Joshua 2, Verse 22 contains no Jericho reference: When they left, they went into the hills and stayed there three days, until the pursuers had searched all along the road and returned without finding them.

So I've heard some rumours that this whol SAVE_US.222 is actually about the New Hart Foundation.

that would be a letdown but a great swerve by the wwe writing team
Well Jericho is Canadian, and he was trained by Stu Hart. If Jericho is involved in Hart Foundation 2.0, I'd be happy.

The Hart Foundation officially formed last night at FCW, so I don't know if they'd be cutting promos on them so soon.

Jericho's debut was NOT on Smackdown, it was on Raw. It was on 'Best of Raw Vol 3', a video that I also own! Lol.
However, the second part about Jericho interviewing Cena who #1 pick for SD! sounds feasible.

All anyone could talk about Tuesday was save_us.222. I didn't even know about it until Tuesday because the segment was about five seconds long and I apparently fast-forwarded through it. But I later saw it, and it was weird. It's five seconds of visual insanity with stuff flashing quickly on the screen.
People who used their pause button saw the following: CHAMP_HARD; SMACK_BROUGHT1; RAW_LOWER_DISP; CD_VOLUME4_1; RAW_WAR_BUMPER; WM99_MATCH; WM00_MATCH; WM99_PROMO; SURVIVOR_RF; LIVEWIRE; TALENT_PRE; BAT_***_WEEK; and JVC_FIX. The assumption by many was that it was heralding the return of Chris Jericho. They noted that the 1st track of the 4th WWE CD was Jericho's theme, that Livewire was a song written by his band Fozzy, and that 222 could be in reference to Joshua 2:2 in the Bible, which speaks of Jericho (the city, not the wrestler). He also beat Juvie in a mask match on 2/22 of 1998.
Of course, there is also the reference to WrestleMania 99, which he wasn't a part of at all. Here's what I can tell you. This past June, prior to Benoit's death, Court Bauer, a creative team member who was recently released, approached the rest of the staff with an idea for either bringing back Jericho or introducing the New Hart Foundation. I guess he'd gotten the new Nine Inch Nails CD and was impressed with the viral marketing campaign they'd done, which included things like leaving zip drives on merchandise tables at live events, which fans would find, take home, and discover new videos or songs on. The idea was to do something similar on Raw, something "Jerichocentric" that would basically be an updated version of the countdown clock which he debuted to in 1999.
Ideas included websites set up by third parties (so as not to be traced to WWE, and to ensure there wasn't an obvious WWE feel to them), deals on Youtube and TV, mystery ads on WWE.com (for example, in the Hart Foundation idea, maybe a "public service announcement" about heart attacks that when you clicked it would take you to a Calgary-related website). In other words, very similar to the ROH Project 161 storyline, except the idea was that it would be a fun thing that fans could get excited about in trying to crack the code, as opposed to something creepy involving stalkers or blood or emos.
At the time, the rest of the team loved it, but hadn't talked to Jericho about it yet, and then things went into disarray when the Benoit tragedy and everything related to it went down. One of the keys to it, which is the main reason I suspect that this is what save_us.222 is all about, is that there would be clues indicating that this was all about Jericho (the music CD thing for example), but also deliberate misdirects and red herrings (WrestleMania 99). Again, this may have nothing to do with Jericho but it does seem very similar to the original idea, plus the feeling is that one way or another he's coming back soon.

Jericho will cost someone the title if he does end up at No Mercy.
If he's back at No Mercy I say he will cost Cena the title. It's a Last man Standing match so no DQ. He will appear a moment Cena is on top and hit him and Orton will win the title.
I was expecting Jericho to return as a top face, but a heel Jericho is so much better.
I was expecting Jericho to return as a top face, but a heel Jericho is so much better.
Agreed. Mind you, I think he's at that status like Trips now, where he can be a heel or face, he'll still get the biggest pops of the night.
Yeah dude, that's a really good way of putting it. I'm still irate at Trips for burying about 40% of the RAW locker room in the past two weeks. Carlito, okay, I get it. But everybody else? Ridiculous.
The sad thing is is the crowd should be booing him. He buried Londrick, Cade And Murdoch (The tag champs of all people) and Umaga in one fell swoop, and then did his "DX shrug" to get away with it.
I should've expected Raw would turn into The Triple H Show when he came back. God Kennedy can't come back quick enough for their feud.
I still will not forget how huge of a pop CM Punk got in Chicago for Survivor Series, and the look on Trips's face as if he couldn't believe he got outpopped.
Haha, I remember that. Damn I'm gonna find that on Youtube now.
Haha, yeah, when Trips put his arm around him, that was SO fake. Hahaha.
Over at one of the wrestling forums I look at, they're hosting a "Best Finisher of All Time" contest. We nominated up to ten finishers, and one of the users is really good with Youtube and is finding a whole bunch of links to these finishers... some of them look absolutely sick, and then of course there are the 'legendary' and 'historic' ones. It's pretty cool.
Which ones were nominated?
Here are the 64 main draw entrants, in alphabetical order:
450 Splash - Paul London
619 - Rey Mysterio
630 Splash – Jack Evans

Top Rope C4 - Naomichi Marufuji
Total Elimination – The Eliminators
Tower of London – Nigel McGuinness
Unprettier - Christian Cage
Vadersault - Vader

The rule is that if a performer had more than one move nominated, there was a final poll to decide which one advanced (so, for instance, the Van Terminator edged out the Five-Star Frog Splash).

After having seen the much talked about promo on Monday Night RAW, fans everywhere have been guessing on what it could have meant. It turns out that the writers backstage are promoting the return of none other than Scotty 2 Hotty. He's been on the shelf for awhile with an impending neck injury, prompting the WWE to release him. However, sources have said that this was all part of the plan to make him look as obscure and miniscule as possible, so as to make this comeback a huge success. He's apparently bulked up to 215 pounds and is ready for a huge push, possibly to the WWE Title scene, and ending John Cena's reign at Wrestlemania.

Chris Jericho has indeed picked WWE over TNA and that he is likely to make his return at the No Mercy PPV on October 7. Jericho was said to have been in talks with both WWE and TNA, but opted to make his return to wrestling with WWE instead (although anyone who saw the "Larry King Live" with Jericho and other WWE stars could obviously see where he was leaning to).

I don't want to talk about it too much until I see it. The nice thing about Jericho is that he's so over with everybody, smarks and marks. While he may be sloppy in the ring a bit and have a little ring rust, it will be a huge breath of fresh air. Trips can go ahead and turn full-blown heel if he wants now, because three (four, after Lashley comes back) faces on RAW is going to be a little crowded.
If you click the story about the Punjabi Prison match on WWE.com, and click the 2 in 420lbs, it takes you to the video on WWE.com. I guess they'll be hiding it in articles and such then. Pretty cool I think.

Michael Hayes was the one who pushed for the heart attack route in the Kristal/Teddy wedding storyline. He had been wanting to an angle involving Viagra for quite some time. The Viagra induced heart attack on the wedding night had actually been scripted since June.
The plan was for Vickie Guerrero (and at one time Kristal but she's likely staying babyface) to get hold of Long's medical records, find out about the medical condition, and orchestrate this whole thing out of the storyline. The big goal of this storyline is to turn Vickie into a major heel.
The plan is now for Vickie to turn heel, and then turn her wrath against Rey in particular, to do a Hispanic version of Stone Cold vs. Vince McMahon. She is also likely to fire Kristal.
The plan for Kristal was for her to move to RAW following the storyline. She's currently in a real life relationship with Bobby Lashley and he asked Vince McMahon if she could move to RAW to be with him. However, Lashley is out of acton till at least December, so that may be held off for a few months.
Another idea being batted around for Vickie to get even more heat from the fans is for her to start a relationship with one of the male wrestlers on Smackdown. The idea is that the wrestler would get preferential treatment and it would make her more of a heel to the fans because she's betraying Eddie. The other idea being talked about is that the wrestler up for the role would be using Vickie to get preferential treatment and Vickie would be trying to get the wrestler 'in the sack' in exchange. The wrestler would tease the idea but it would never actually happen in the storyline because the wrestler isn't interested in going to bed with her; he just wants to use her to further his career.
MVP appears to be the primary candidate for the role. There has also been talk of using Edge in the role but MVP seems more likely.

Thats correct, it was a tournament and the winner was crowned Undisputed Champion.
It went -
Stone Cold vs Kurt Angle (winner : Stone Cold)
then
The Rock vs Chris Jericho (winner : Chris Jericho)
so the Final was
Stone Cold vs Chris Jericho.

Cena injuries really sucks! I'm sure it's not real it is just beause he beat everybody and they need a way to change Champ.
That sucks
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – WWE Champion John Cena has suffered a complete tear of his right pectoral tendon and is heading into surgery, according to noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Because of the seriousness of the injury, WWE officials will not allow Cena to compete this Sunday at No Mercy, and he will have no choice but to surrender the title.
Dr. Andrews said Cena could miss between six and eight months of action. Cena was injured during his match Monday night on Raw with Mr. Kennedy. Before visiting Dr. Andrews, Cena had said, “No matter how serious, the injury, one way or another I’ll be ready to compete on Sunday.”
But despite Cena’s vow, WWE officials will not allow him to compete at No Mercy. Therefore, he must surrender the WWE Championship.
WWE officials vow that there will be a WWE Championship Match this Sunday at No Mercy and a new WWE Champion will be crowned.
Stay with WWE.com for further updates on Cena’s condition and on No Mercy as they become available.
Sucks for Cena, but serious lolz if Orton doesn't win the title now and it goes to Kennedy, or worse, HHH.
I read this theory somewhere and I love it, but WAY too smart for WWE creative. The guy is Jericho, but it's not just Jericho, it's Jericho and Teddy Hart, Harry Smith, TJ Wilson, and Nattie Neidhart, the New Generation Hart Foundation.
They storyline it that Jericho was scouting talent trying to find talent that could "save" wrestling. It gives a ton of credibility to the NGHF and brings back Jericho for all his marks like myself.
Or, how about this: during another Santino promo where he's babbling on and on, have the lights go down, the countdown begin, and have Jericho come out... "Would youuuuuu just SHUT. THE HELL. UP."

Just my own theory here, No Mercy starts at 8pm (E.T.) and ends at 11pm (thus 8.2.11).

The outcome of the title match at No Mercy will depend a lot on what the planned RAW main event is for WrestleMania 24. Original plans saw Triple H vs. Kennedy for the WWE Title in the illegitimate child storyline, but that may be (or maybe not) thrown out the window at this point. WWE could put the title on Kennedy now, based on the fact that he was "responsible" for Cena's injury, and begin Triple H's chase for the title. However, Orton could still win the title, as he was supposed to at No Mercy.
Their are a number of routes WWE can go with the WWE Title and the match at No Mercy this weekend, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
f4wonline at prowrestling.com
The rumor making rounds in the WWE locker room is that Edge will interfere in the SmackDown main event (World Heavyweight Champion Batista vs. The Great Khali in a Punjabi Prison match) at No Mercy this Sunday, however, that has not by any means been confirmed.
As we’ve been reporting, the plan is to have Edge return by Survivor Series so it’s unclear on his role on SmackDown before the November pay-per-view if he does return prior to that date. Edge’s original return date from his torn pectoral muscle was set for November so if he returns earlier it could be he is being rushed back.
f4wonline at prowrestling.com
Amid all this, the original plan was for Hornswoggle to be stripped of the Cruiserweight Title and then to have the title quietly retired. Again, this may have been altered since then.

Look for Mark Henry to be moved to Raw to feud with Triple H. Conversely, look for Umaga to be moved to Smackdown to feud with The Undertaker. At least the Hs and Taker aren't swapping wives.
