Boogeyman just looks like a variant of Papa Shango. Aside from he eats worms instead of making people vomit spontaniously.

Yes, Jerry Lawler's evil dentist. I'm sure that was after Bret Hart shoved his foot in The King's mouth. I seem to remember that Jerry Lawler had an old sock he'd done loads of stuff with and was planning on shoving it in Bret Hart's mouth...but it got reversed.

Yeah I remember that! Lawler was saying he's got all kinds of corns and bunyons and all that crap...man, I'm gettin' nostalgic here.

first i wana say that i just stopped watching because its now super boring.
now to answer your questions...
mark henry was always with the WWE. he was just always doing to the street team stuff, but he just made a return and is now feuding with undertaker

xpac, road dogg, christian, rhyno, shannon moore, gail kim, jeff hardy and i think a few others- the only person who i know was fired for a reason was jeff hardy back in 02 i think. he was doin drugs or some **** like that and he was always showing up late for the shows so they left him behind. everyone else i know that i just listed is on TNA. you can watch them on spike TV fridays at night im not sure what time.

gangrel- he came back for like 3 shows on SD last august but i duno what happened to him now.

ken shamrock- i dont know if he left or was fired, but he's now in UFC

steve blackman- i have no idea lol

why E/C split?- i read it in edges book two years ago. what happened was that a girl in washington accused them of raping her even though it wasnt true. they were on the otherside of the country when she said the day they raped her. the WWE didnt want to stir up an controversey because of this so they had to split them apart. after christian (i think or edge) won king of the ring edge (or christian) came out to congragulate him but then turned on him by beatn him up. dissappointing i know, they where awesome.

did hawk die?- yes he did two or three years ago i think. i forget why, but animal came back and is on SD

did eddie guerrerro die?- yes he did in feburary i think. chavo (eddies nephew) found eddie in his hotel room dead. he fell in his sleep

the others you asked about if they died or not im not sure about

something you ought to know- last summer matt hardy was fired because lita cheated on him (in real life, i hope you know they were goin out) and started goin out with edge. when matt found out he made it a huge story by posting it on his website. once the WWE fans found out, they chanted "SLUT!" to lita and the WWE couldnt take it anymore so they fired him. funny enough that didnt help, it just made it worst. now during the shows even when lita or edge wasnt in the ring they would chant, "you screwed matt!". so then they decided to bring him back.

i hope this helps!

Just wondering.

Jom
03-11-2006, 02:37 PM
It depends.

I love chain wrestling matches, but that's because that's the closest thing to actual wrestling, which I did.

I don't care for the theatrics, or the T&A contests, or any of the 'entertainment' aspects, really. It's definitely hit-or-miss (but mostly miss). Some stories they have aren't bad. A lot, though, are admittedly horrible.

So that's why we love trashing them here.

Oh, and I love the cruiserweights and their high-flying.

I would love a Shelton/Hass match and an Angle/Benoit match followed by a ladder match with Paul London, RVD, Austin Aries, and Brian Kendrick.

Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Hass competed at a national level and were both All-Americans at their sport. To my knowledge, they never faced each other at university, so to see an unscripted wrestling match would make my day.

Kurt Angle is an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling - he won at the Atlanta games back in 1996 with a broken neck. Benoit is arguably the most sound and proficient wrestler in the business today, maybe #2 behind Angle.

The other four guys have no regards for their bodies at all. They are the daredevils, the spotmen, the guys who will take the sickest of bumps just to entertain.

Well, your best bet would probably be TNA, not WWE. You'd be hard-pressed to find any chain wrestling matches there... there's maybe one a night. With TNA you're actually guaranteed wrestling moreso than thematics.

SD! got pre-empted for college basketball last night, so it's going to be on for me in twenty minutes. The only match I'm looking forward to is Benoit/Helms, really. I haven't really looked at the rest of the card, though.

Lashley vs Finlay was funny/cool as usual, they did another car spot like with Big Show a while back.

Burchill was funny, nearly screwed up the C4 though.

Also, I noticed Rey Mysterio was on the show, but I heard they released all the juniors.

It was really nice to hear JR announce again.

And white ropes! Haha. They looked pretty sharp.

Boogeyman/Booker got pushed back to Wrestlemania.

RAW vs. Smackdown! match was pretty cool for the most part, but it ended kind of strange.

Divas match was crap until Mickie James finally turned on Trish. She looks sooooooooo hot as a heel now, it's unreal.

Shane/HBK match was MOTN for sure. There was a superplex off a ladder through two tables, and it was a pretty sick bump. Oh, and Shane hit the Van Terminator...

... on Vince (on accident, of course, heh. HBK rolled out of the way).

It was one of the better Wrestlemanias of the past few years, aside from the main events. I'm sorry, but Cena has been booed for the past few months, and Triple H was all over him during the match. I think Kurt should have kept the title as well, he was just a machine who killed anyone! The fact that he didn't get pinned makes his defeat all the more sadder.

Other than that, I think it was an amazing event. The Edge/Mick Foley hardcore match, the Money In The Bank match, seeing Shawn go psycho against Vince, Mickie winning the Women's Championship (I always switched over during women's matches, but I really enjoyed that one) and Kane and Show defending the tag titles.

I'd give it a 3.5/5, would've been a 4 if the main events lived up to the hype.

Randy was suspended for drug use I believe.

If DX is reformed, I hope it's like that too. Triple H and Shawn teaming up against the McMahons would be a good storyline I think. Plus I got into wrestling during late 1999-early 2000, back when DX was pretty much controlling WWE when Triple H "married" Stephanie, so I'd love to see that again.

I do think he's insane though, he wrote a comic book but with full pages of dialogue giving definitions of words he has made up and also thinks that Vince Macmahon keeps calling him up, begging him to come back to WWE.

Cena is going to walk out of Backlash the champ. Still. However, they're going to start teasing a heel turn, probably after the PPV when he gets booed like hell for winning.

I hope Orton gets his **** together. He can't rest on his laurels of thinking the company is going to be built around him - it just isn't going to happen if he's incredibly rude/disrespectful/breaks rules/codes all the time, heh.

I can't see Cena going heel at the moment, to be honest. There isn't a real main event face to fill the gap (except maybe RVD), and turning Edge or Triple H face would be stupid. They are both awesome heels. I'd love to see Cena as a heel, but I don't think it will happen any time soon.

Yeah the "injury" is the work storyline for his real suspension.

I hope they take the belt off Cena soon, to me there's no question that Triple H will be the next champion, it just depends on how soon the WWE can wean the 7 year old age bracket off of John Cena.

I think the situation is going to be dictated by the fans mostly, WWE didn't want people to get sick of Cena but most of the, how I say, less stupid, fans are tired of him now if they weren't at the beginning. On the other side, Triple H is getting a good reaction despite supposedly being a heel, especially when he pinned Cena after the pedigree on Raw.

As far as Smackdown goes, Burchill is awesome . London & Kendrick are going well, and Angle is pretty over. I hope he wins his title back soon because Mysterio is more or less like Cena, the Kid's Meal champion.

Ahahaha! That's a great analogy.

I seem to enjoy Smackdown more than RAW. RAW has far too much theatrics at times, where as Smackdown has a lot better technical wrestlers and more matches. That's only my opinion though. In other news though, I got the best of RAW Vol. 1 from eBay for $1. It had the Nation of Domination parody at the hands of DX

Paul Burchill is great :D and English too! I'm quite into the Pirate gimmick, aswell as the feud with Regal.

If Foley and Dreamer team up, that would be like the coolest tag team ever. They'd just kill whoever they were against. I can't see Foley turning heel after all these years of being a face. It's been almost a decade, hasn't it?

I don't think Triple H will win on RAW. It seems like too much of an anti-climax to have him lose at 2 PPVs, one of them being Wrestlemania, and to have him win it on a random RAW episode. And if he does, I think he will lose it again at the next major PPV. That'll piss me off though, because Cena doesn't deserve the title (Although he does bring in the crowd).

I like Shane McMahon. He's a prick sometimes, but in a likeable way. And he throws his body around in the ring like a crazy man.

I thought Foley was retired, but I think it's weird that he's turning heel. But apparently, he and Edge are facing Dreamer and Funk at ECW One Night Stand. Either way, should be an awesome match.

Shane O' Mac is always entertaining, probably cause he's such a clown and takes high risks all the time.

I don't think hardcore wrestlers ever call it quits. Terry Funk must have retired about 20 times, but still comes back. Watching Funk is funny, cause he's so damn slow... the hanging neckbreaker he does is great though, especially when accompanied by a chair.

You know when Mick Foley and Terry Funk meet they'll be trouble. They were good as The Hardcore Legends. Chainsaw Charlie swinging his chainsaw around all over the place.

Should be an interesting battle, especially seen as how Edge has been put in the equation. It's guarenteed that their will be heat for any person that's involved with a WWE wrestler that's not previously been in ECW, so Foley might actually get boo'ed. Then again, he is Foley, so probably not.

People retire and come back all the time.

So I was watching ECW Barely Legal '97 earlier, with The Dudleys vs The Exectioners (Perry Saturn and Kronos[I think]).

Anyways, Saturn could really fly back then - every time I saw him in the WWF/E he didn't really fly much which was a shame.

Moppy was kinda cool though...

Yeah, the Eliminators, Saturn and Kronus. Did they use the Total Elimination finisher in that match? that was a badass finisher. Simultanious Leg sweep and spinning heel kick. Looked stiff as hell aswell.

There's a match where the Eliminators take on Terry Gordy and "Dr Death" Steve Williams and Perry Saturn does an elbow drop from the scaffolding... haha, it's great.

Hahaha, I'm not a mark.

I'm quite aware of the difference between a face and a heel. I said that any wrestler not involved with ECW and anyone tagging with them will get heat... but then I thought perhaps Foley wouldn't due to his history in ECW. Depends on what kind of fans actually go to One Night Stand.

Foley already has a huge fanbase, which I think contributes to his crowd reaction whether he's a heel or a face. It's the same with Triple H, who always seems to get cheers now even when he's a heel. If Foley does turn heel, I think people will still cheer for him because he's a damn credible wrestler.

I'd just like to say now: Foley is God.

I re-read Have A Nice Day recantly as well. I'd forgotten how well the guy writes. I forgot how many knob jokes there were in there, though.

Still, he's an awesome wrestler, moreso because he got there through hard work and perseverence. He had no natural talent (except for taking a bump) and has earned everything: how to cut a promo, how to wrestle, etc...the hard way.

On that note, does anybody know where I can wrestling on UK Freeview TV, or on the free Satilite(sp?) channels?

Well, let's go through with the whole Judgment Day thing. I'll have to wait for another PPV to get all the rules and things going.

World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio vs. United States Champion JBL

Meh, don't care about this match at all. I say JBL takes it.

King of the Ring Tournament Final: Lashley vs. Booker T

Originally, I was going to say Booker T... but with the Heavyweight title switch, I'm going to say Lashley.

WWE Tag Team Champions MNM vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick

London and Kendrick cap off all their victories with a title win.

Undertaker vs. The Great Khali

Kaksldjf lavzawesr nvzalskd, owueralsdfj ajdlskfjzasdfasd UNDERTAKER BWARRR.

That was my Khali impression. 'Taker has to win here, be it by DQ or by actually pinning him.

Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry

Go Angle!

Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms vs. Super Crazy

Super Crazy will score the upset... but what about the Mexicools now? :'(

Chris Benoit vs. Finlay

I say when Finlay is going to hit Benoit with the shaleighlee, Benoit is going to stop it and put him in the Crossface for the submission victory.

Melina vs. Jillian

Does it matter? I say Melina wins by cheating.

ThrashMaster27
05-21-2006, 01:14 PM
World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio vs. United States Champion JBL

I don't like either one of them. I seriously don't like JBL, but I hope he takes the belt. I'll go with JBL with a lot of cheating along the way.

King of the Ring Tournament Final: Lashley vs. Booker T

Hmmmm, tricky one. I'm gonna say Lashley to win as Booker's had his moment in the sun already.

WWE Tag Team Champions MNM vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick

Hopefully Paul London and Brian Kendrick will get this one. What's that move London does? where he dropkicks and backflips into a splash for the pin? the first time I saw that I nearly came in my pants. I'll go with them.

Undertaker vs. The Great Khali

Undertaker by pinfall after a Tombstone piledriver.

Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry

Mark Henry CAN'T win this one. I don't think Angle will get his fat legs into an ankle lock, so by pinfall.

Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms vs. Super Crazy

Is Gregory Helms even a cruiserweight? retains.

Chris Benoit vs. Finlay

I'm gonna agree with the crippler crossface being applied for the submission victory.

Melina vs. Jillian

Who cares as long as Melina does the splits? I'll go with her for the win.

Mr. Black

World Heavyweight Championship Match
Rey (c) vs. JBL

JBL wins, what the hell is Mysterio the champion for anyways?

KOTR Final
Booker T vs. Bobby Lashley
Lashley wins, but Booker beats him afterwards. Then, I bet he'll screw him at KOTR.

Tag Team Championship Match
MNM (c) vs. London and Kendrick
I think MNM will win by cheating, furthering the feud.

Great Khali vs. The Undertaker
Khali counters the Tombstone Piledriver, and wins the match. Then, a huge feud will break out between the two. Ending in some cool match, like a Cage or maybe a HIAC.

Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry
Personally I feel this match should be No DQ, but hey!
Angle will win after the Ankle Lock.

Cruiserweight Championship Match
Gergory Helms wins via DQ.

Finlay vs. Chris Benoit
Benoit will dominate, but Finlay will win by means of the Saleili.(sp)

Melina vs. Jillian
Only Chyna is a women worthy of wrestling.
Jillian wins.

DemonicRubberDucky
05-21-2006, 01:36 PM
World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio vs. United States Champion JBL

Though i hate JBL as much as a like Rey, JBL's gonna cheat like crazy. He will, to my discontent, win.

King of the Ring Tournament Final: Lashley vs. Booker T

Lashley as long as Sharmell dosen't cheat too much. Lashley's quite an explosive force right now, and he definately has the advantage of the crowd.

WWE Tag Team Champions MNM vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick

Hopefully Paul London and Brian Kendrick will win, but if Melina cheats too much, you can say bye-bye to that possibility.

Undertaker vs. The Great Khali

I simply can't say. I want the Undertaker.

Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry

Kurt Angle will eventaully wear Henry down, but not before he gets some nasty hits into the various metal parts of the ring. If Henry's smart, he will focus on Kurt's arm/leg (i forgot) he broke at Smackdown.

Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms vs. Super Crazy

Super Crazy will beat Greg. Period.

Chris Benoit vs. Finlay

One word: Crossface.

Melina vs. Jillian

Jillian's on fire right now, i think she's gonna win.

I knew Rey would win, he's had all these beatings recently and stuff, he couldn't then go and lose the title. I agree with many people that he is not champion material. US Champ maybe, but not heavyweight champion. Secondly, he is a cruiserweight so that adds a little bit of irony.
