^He did something like that at 'Mania X-7 in the street fight against Vince, he jumped from one side of the ring to the other.

He's done some crazy stuff over the years, his fall at Summerslam 2000/2001 (I think it was SSlam and one of those years) against Steve Blackman was incredible.

Nah, Orton maybe "with the fans" but he's really lacking in wrestling(sort of) and mic skills(yea). He maybe a good champion, in a year or two, but to just give the little bastard the title over guys that have deserved it longer than him(Jericho) is retarded.

ECW was the most hardcore. I liked the glory days when it was D-generation X (triple H, Xpac, Road Dogg, Assman, and China) vs. THe Corporation (Vince, SHane, The Rock, Bossman, Shamrock, etc etc). I also loved NWO/WolfPack vs. GOldberg and stuff. I used to be a wrestling addict, is it still as big as it was before?

I also loved it when the undertaker tried to embalm stone cold but i think kane stopped him. I was in fifth grade when stone cold fought undertaker in a burried alive match, i actually thought the loser would die and i was soo afraid austin would die.
I wish they would make kane and undertaker the brothers of darkness again, and they should be able to destroy everyone. does anyone realize that he used to not be able to talk but now he has rather much to say?

What's wrong with Eddie? Dude, he was a great Champion. They kep this old gimmick of the lying, cheatin, stealing and made him a face, he's a great champion, I'm just pissed they made him job to JBL.

The Hardys were split to try them in different situations and than it was learned that Jeff was a drug addict so the WWE wanted to put him in Re-Hab and he refused so they fired him.

Kurt was made commisioner cause Steph was getting married and they didn't think Paul Haymen was convincing(BULL****), as well as the fact that he wasn't cleared to wrestle yet so they needed to buy him some time to so he could get cleared.

Rena 'Sable' Mero has been released from the WWE in the past week. The reasons aren't 100% clear yet but apparently it was because she asked for her schedule to be lowered so she could spend more time with Brock Lesnar (her fiancé) and she made some comments about the WWE being sexist in an interview not so long ago.

Ah well, its not like they're losing anyone important.

1. They split the rosters up so they could give more chances to other wrestlers that normally wouldn't get it. For Example, Benoit and Eddie were both champs and I don't think that would have happened had they not split the roster

2. That was picked up from Austin. At one point, he would just start saying What? whenever someone said something to him and it just stuck from there

I saw this guy on a clip of Wrestlemania once, he's called Giant Gonzales (possible "Gonzalez").

Does anyone have a clue how tall this ****er is? Or any details about him? How long he wrestled for?

I mean Undertaker is easy 6'10", and that guy is a good head and shoulders above him.

They've jacked alot up. If you really pay attention to like OVW, you know there Mordacia has his "gothic" gimmick and he's called Seven. If the WWE would have kept Sean O'Haire with his gothic type gimmick, easily a good tag team than later, turn Taker heel and have a Ministry type group. It would have put both over really well and could have established them as contenders, but go figure, the WWE screws up again..

I wish the wwe would start to use rvd again, and send him back to raw to feud with orton. those two had some really good matches.

And I think they need to bring back the hardcore title they have a quite impressive list of people that have done/can do hardcore style matches and look good.
Rob Van Dam
Ryhno
Tajiri
Tommy Dreamer ( he hasn't been on tv in ages, but he's still with the wwe)
Kane,
Batista would be good in a hardore division too.

The NWA-TNA is awesome, the X-division is the best thing going, I wish impact had a longer timeslot, and maybe a little later, if it was on at 8 pm or something, I would bet my guitar that it would out draw smackdown, maybe they will do that when baseball season's over. ECW had some cool wrestlers, and it got me into metal music too, they used to have sober playing during some of their adds and promo's and a bunch of the wrestlers had songs from bands like pantera and metallica....

Its highly unlikely that the hardcore title will return anytime soon with the WWE's new style of wrestling, they're trying to have more mat based matches with less high spots. They want the moves/holds to mean more etc...in about 5years time they will probably go through another 'Attitude era'.

Brew
08-31-2004, 02:27 PM
Yer, I'm expecting that there will be a repeat of the late 80's/early 90's style for a few years, then they'll go back through another attitude era etc...at the moment they need to build up some wrestlers into big superstars, once that's happened then it should get good again.

By the time we got back, not one punch had been thrown!

Anyway my point is, the whole match was disappointing except for the ending. It is a shame, but we still had a **** fun night and enjoyed pretty much every other match. I will definitely go to the next WWE event in Australia.

I find most TNA boring, I haven't really seen anything yet to make me watch it more.

I flicked onto WWE Classics on Sky Sports the other day, it was a really old WCW show from 1992 featuring a very young Eric Bischoff, 'Stunning' Steve Austin(Stone Cold), Paul E.Dangerously as his manager(Paul Heyman) and Ron Simmons(Farooq).

Cant remember exactly but the ones that come to mind are Hardy Boyz, Mankind, Foley is Good, Kurt Angle, The Rock, Hollywood Hogan, Jerry "The King" Lawler, Goldberg and a couple others. Out of all, I think that the first Foley book was a really good read. It had me hooked the whole way, and was very interesting to read what he had to say about other wrestlers and the industry in general.

"Foley is good" the second book (I think it was called that) was a disappointment in comparism. I dont think I even finished it to be honest. Ahhh well.. I recommend reading the first.

Former WCW/WWE Star Ray Traylor, aka Big Bossman, passed away last evening in his home.

WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia, confirmed they will go on the air in a few hours to report Ray Traylor died of an apparent massive heart attack, according to the Paulding County Medical Examiner's Office.

Various reports claim that Traylor's wife found him unconscious, and she and paramedics who were called to the scene were unable to revive him.

Smackdown is slowly getting better.

Slowly.

Also, Booker T is going to retain the US title at No Mercy because John Cena is off fliming a movie for the next few months.

The British Bulldog died quite a while ago of a drug overdose.

Now the wwe has pretty much no competition you can see how it's slacked.

some of my favourite ever moments and great matches they should bring back.

the lions den match between Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman.
the rock n sock connection havin lots of fun.
stone cold becoming the CEO of wwe and really p****ng off vince.
the night the rock told dx that stone cold had come back and they all went psycho coz they couldnt find him, then eventually he was outside and blew up the dx express.
the rock taking the complete piss from superstars, like his 12 days of christmas for Test, and jericho's first night when he inturuppted the rock talking, so the rock mocked his hair.
the new age outlaws totally kicking arse OH YOU DIDNT KNOW? YOUR *** BETTER CALLLLLLL SOMEBODY.
dx being totally disrespectful to just about anyone.
matches that go backstage into kitchens and stuff.
hell in the cell matches that grip you, like 'taker vs hbk at Badd Blood years ago, then Kane came and tombstoned 'taker after a great and bloody match.
and finally a dumpster match, they were great.my favourite being New Age Outlaws vs. Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie.

p.s. anyone know what happened to Ahmed Johnson?

I think Carlito Carribean Cool is just what Smackdown needs right now. A new guy with a lot of charisma, some humour and is plain ol' entertaining. I dont know whether he deserves to be US Champ straight away like this, but it sure is unpredictable.. And with the WWE the way it is right now (especially RAW) I welcome unpredictability with open arms! :thumb:
