Raw and Smackdown used to have superstars that worked on whichever show. For example, HHH could wrestle someone on Raw, then the same week, he could wrestle that same person. But then they decided to keep certain superstars on a certain show. I think its because they needed a break from working more than 1 show per week.
So as they got split up, they became kind of rivals to who had the better superstars and could make the better show. Although its not as if they want one to be better than the other

I've heard that some take steroids, but have never heard anything about injecting for stamina
