That's awesome! I've been playing bass for over two years now, I started, when I started jazz band @ my high school. I saw other people during festivals playing the double bass and I gave a go at it. My teachers gave me an oppertunity to learn it...by myself. They told me how to hold it some pointers...there you go. I tried to look up on the internet how to play double bass, I could never find one w/o paying :naughty: . So thanx! I think that place is really helpful, double bass or not.

hey- i started playing upright in my orchestra about a year and a half ago after i'd been playin electric for about a year, and i really like it- pizzacato rips my fingers up, but i find it really helps my reading, and it's much more challenging than the stuff i'm playing w/ my band righ now.
