Means ones of two things;

fret the 14, then hit the open A
Or more likely;
1--4--0, just done quickly. Maybe its the tabbers screwed up way of showing a triplet?

Well you could always mess around with some modes, or find a solo from a bassist that you like and transcribe it to Dm
