Replace the "tt" with "xx" and when people go to download it, they copy the link and change the "xx" back to "tt".

Haha, I showed Stoic how to use DC++ just yesterday. It will be easiest if you contact me on MSN or AIM. Profile.
oh yes he showed me and was very patient with me. The funny thing is that he also introduced me to soulseek a year or so ago. :p
Although I'm still not quite familiar with DCC++ I must say it's far better than soulseek. The search is much more flexible and the speeds stabler.

Well, b/c it counted the sogn being played lots of times when the song didnt even play allt he way through. I kept lsitening to the intro of the song b/c I was tyring to figure it out ont he guitar. I didn't actually listen to the whole song. As a result, that song is listed as being played an absurd amount of times and is listed as ym favorite track haha.

Bleeding is also amazing. In fact I'm becoming quite disturbed because I haven't got any Psychotic Waltz with me.
I don't know why I prefer Mosquito to the others - maybe it's just because I discovered it at a certain time when some of the songs and lyrics resonated with me or because it's slightly more "off the wall" than the other albums. Regardless, an amazing band.
Seer's Tear are perhaps even more esoteric, they started off as a doom band (MDB guitarist Hamish Glencross was in them and vocalist Stoy was in Solstice for a time) and the demos reflect this but "Precious", their only album, is very much more progressive. I'll admit to being a bit of an obsessive fan - "Precious" is probably my fabourite album by a UK artist! And yes I'm including Sabbath, Maiden etc etc! Not bad for a relatively unkown band who released one album on an obscure label!

I knew Lefty liked Psychotic Waltz but wasnt sure about Jondur. It's a high quality, often overlooked and mainly known to the underground progressive circles band. Thank you for the band suggestion, is not an every day thing to discover a band similar to them. Another band I've heard that is supposed to have influences -according to a column in metal hammer - from the first two Psychotic Waltz albums is an obscure romanian one called Psycho Symphony. I havent been lucky enough to listen to their album so far though.
This is my description of Psychotic Waltz as posted in some thread in the metal-rules forums.
You're lucky to get these albums, I'd love to own them but they're hard to find and expensive when found. This bands defines at an extent my perception of progressive metal combining the dimensional prog feeling with an honest non stilted technical tendency while keeping a heavy, in the hard rock sense, idiosyncrasy
In fact I'm becoming quite disturbed because I haven't got any Psychotic Waltz with me.
I've found them in a used CD store but I really dont feel like spending 30 euros on each :(
LEFTY I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU FOR DAYS PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR MSN OR AIM (same with msn) IF YOU USE THEM!
On another note here are the CDs I bought today:

I can't get into the old school death bands for the most part because of the production. I can't really get into bands that have muddy production on their albums to the point where all the songs start to sound the same.
If it is not black metal, it pretty much has to have decent to great production for me to like it.

They are essentially a death metal band, although they have some pretty wierd riffs and veryfast drumming. They incorporate some synth-like tracks (although it's usually just playing around with guitar effects). In my opinion, the synth-esque stuff is boring but the faster stuff is great. The only album I've got is Worlds Beyond The Veil which is great, they've released another full-length but I don't own it.

For those living in Europe(lucky bastards), Twilight's album has now been released on Total Holocaust Records and is available for ordering. For those that don't know, Twilight is a black metal supergroup featuring Wrest(Leviathan), Lord Imperial(Krieg), Azentrius(Nachtmystium), Malefic(Xasthur), and Hildolf(Draugar). For us US-dwellers, I tried contacting THR to inquire about shipping here and was told that they are unable to do so, so we will have to wait for Southern Lord's US release scheduled sometime in the fall. I'll keep you updated.

it's just people that try to hide behind the ideals created by a religion.

YEAH! Man, it's great to see someone who feels the same as me. I wrote an essay on this for English class this year, it's called "The Meaning of Life", basically saying that the meaning of life is to live ones life.
My views on christianity:
Jesus = man (very probably a great man, with a powerful aura, but still a mortal man like the rest of us, immortalised by a fictional book)
God = metaphor

For those who want the new Arcturus album, Sideshow Symphonies, I have uploaded the bootlegged version below. Buy downloading this your are just 'testing the goods' so to speak. If you are truly a fan of this band, you will go buy the album on it's September 20th(US) release.
http://tinyurl.com/akua4
I compressed the MP3x into a WinRAR file and uploaded them through YSI. I then used TinyURL so you can safely click the link without fear of being blocked. You'll be directed to TinyURL then to YSI, so if a strange page pops up for a sec, that is fine.
You can tell it isn't finished but it is still very good. It also very different than their older work, more mellow and ICS Vortex's unique voice adds a very different flavor than Garm's. I plan to write a review on it once it is officially released. Enjoy :thumb:

No, I wasnt talking to you. Thats why I said, "general 'you'" b/c i meant everyone, not YOU.
As a side note, there is no proof that the biblical Jesus of Nazareth existed. In fact, there is quite a bit of proof that he is just a fabrication of the church.
I'll be gone for 3 days. Going on vacation.
There was a man called Jesus, but the stories about him may be greatly exagerrated. It always amuses me to see Jesus (the Christ) accepted as fact, but Gilgamesh or Achilles dismissed as mythology. :p
Also, I find I really like Intestine Baalism all of the sudden. Good stuff.

I woudn't call 3 major books of history, the Koran, the Bible, the Torah a fabrication of the church. Jesus did exist, the life story given to us could be completely wrong.
I don't dismiss Achilles as mythloygy but like Jesus he was probely made into a bigger man (Like cooler not like tall) than he really was.
No, I wasnt talking to you. Thats why I said, "general 'you'" b/c i meant everyone, not YOU.

What exactly is "personal religion" and how is it selfish?
A lot of religions are practiced on a personal level. Buddism and all of the New Age religions are examples. How do you explain how something is selfish? It is focused on yourself.
We know about God because he chooses to reveal some things about himself through the Bible. However, if there is anything I've learnt in the years I've been a christian (which is most of my life) is that when it comes down to it, we know very little about God and how he works. To quote a very smart teacher at my school, "God isn't in a box". But to say we know absolutely nothing is not true. Unless you aren't talking about the christian God.
Mate you have taken that the wrong way. I'm not preding I know God or anything I'm still making my mind up if I want him to be with me or if he exist but what I am saying is that Jesus did exist. I'm not saying Christain are evil or anything I just saying (directed more at Bread Man now) that people can use religion as an excuse and do horrible things and some christains did it, eg Spanish Inquistion.
The crusades would be another strong example. Indeed, it's the people who read the bible and don't understand a word of it that do these things. The kind of people who will go around with signs like "God hates fags" and the kind of people who will blow up abortion clinics. The people who simply don't have a clue.
