I'm listening to Spiral Architect - A Sceptic's Universe.
It's probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I like it though, it's kind interesting to hear people play their insturments this well. I think screaming would've fit the vocals better though, but the big epic vocals are pretty good, and the production on the album isn't as bad as something like Dream Theater or Devin Townshend. They could move the drums up in the mix though.

The Wildhearts - P.H.U.Q.- I thought this album was boring when I first bought it, but two years of ignoring it have really thrown it up in my estimation. The group vocals are great.
I never understood why all kinds of critics said it was/is their best work. Thought it was more mature than Earth vs., I suppose. I thought it was kind of disappointing when I first got it too, I think, though I love it now, naturally. Not paying too much attention to it on my first couple of listens did mean I had the pleasure of being blindsided by Naivety Play one morning walking into school, though.

This album is so damn great. I'm giving it 4.5/5 for now, but I can definitely see it becoming one of my favourite albums and a perfect 5.

I'm not sure if it's one of my favorite albums yet, but I would still give it a perfect 5 for the way it works (especially since there's no filler). I was jammin' along to the title track with my bass and it was a lot of fun. I don't know how to play anything for certain except that simple riff, but playin' some notes in that area for the prechorus/solo jam really seems to work well.

You see, Rain Dogs was always an album that I enjoyed to a point. Somewhat eccentric and full of ideas, but I never completely latched on to it. Gnarls Barkley - St. Elsewhere
Banyan - Any time at all (First Listen)
Cursive - Domestica (First Listen)
Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot(First Listen)
Cursive is all right, it's not great but it's solid. Though Banyan and Wilco are superb. Dunno why I haven;t listend to Wilco before this. I'll be kicking my head in soon enough over that fact.
