Yeah, definitely check them out. They've been leaked for a while now, so I'm only just 'officially' getting their release. I'm not sure I'd be as quite as hugely positive as all the publications have been, but it is a truly excellent record in the Arcade Fire/Modest Mouse vein. It's not an album to change your mind on this style of sound, but it's a great refinement for those who already enjoy it.

That song rules so hard.

It does. It might be overtaking Honey Bucket for my favorite on the album, even though it's even shorter. He may not be saying anything in particular, but I'd like to think that the second verse is "Holy Roller roll in roll OUT!" because that is fun to yell when speeding down the interstate and passing many cars :)

People who like Jaga Jazzist, The Postal Service and good singer-songwriter should check out The National Bank.

It's an all-star band consisting of members of Jaga Jazzist, BigBang and yes, the mighty Thomas Dybdahl on vocals. Pretty good combination, I'd say.

I made a thread on them in "Other"

Good album from ex(?) Jaga Jazzist members.
