Lots of music from Epitonic, I've been going on a 'follow the trail of recommended artists' spree.
Fun.
I've followed a trail from jazz to emo, then from emo to beatboxing, then from beatboxing to dub. Some of this music is really amazingly good/strange.
I've done that a few times. I always end up listening to bands that I will later get into, but never really dig at the time, not really sure why.
On another note, "The Sky Is Falling" by Blackalicious gives me the chills.

They're not really a "punk" band like Against Me but they kind of remind me of a lukewarm version of AM's gusto with some of Calexico style acoustics, with gloomy and lo-fi bits.

I am a Police fan.
Favourite song is "Can't Stand Losing You" or "Don't Stand so Close to Me". "Message in a Bottle" is pretty good too. I have a handful of their records but they're all on vinyl, so I can't listen to them often (my record player is still back at my parents house). The only CD I have is a Greatest Hits.
